“Let’s kill this sheep, and as you can see we got cooked chicken” lol! Great video as usual. I always listen to these while I play the game!
Lol
also he kept saying grass block instead of glass block
Anyone else remember when you could get feathers from zombies?

“Let’s kill this sheep.” **kills chicken**
You forgot the best thing about chicken: it's the only farm animal whose (cooked!) meat can be farmed entirely automatically. They drop eggs, a hopper can pick up the eggs, a dispenser can fire the eggs onto a slab, lava above the slab can instantly kill and cook each chicken as it grows up, and a hopper underneath the slab can collect the drops. Set it, forget it, and come back to stacks of a very good food item and feathers you can turn into emeralds with a fletcher villager.
Woah. Thank you
now that's fast food

I didn't know, that rabbits can actually eat carrots if they're planted on the farm. It's kinda a lovely mechanic. :D
I didn’t know this. Came here for the rabbits. I’m so glad they finally added that!
I've been playing Minecraft for 10 years and I still learn something new every time you upload! Thank you for your dedication!
Furry.
@@CoolestSwordFighter i hate furries

I learn stuff every time I watch these videos too! Also don't mind the comments, there's no good reason to hate someone or be mean
@@copyshy there is a reason to hate someone if they are a furry
As a predominantly Bedrock player, I had no idea that passive Mobs didn't respawn indefinitely relative to the player on Java. Went on a killing spree on an island I planned to settle on then ended up having to go all over to get pairs of each farm animal. Lesson learnt!
in 2b2t they are extremely rare I was lucky enough to see some wild ones, and got to contribute to the mass extinction
You can also get mushroom stew by using a bowl on a mosh room cow, and if you feed a brown mooshroom a flower first, you’ll get suspicious stew with a potion effect depending on the flower
I knew about the mooshroom but not the brown mooshroom thank you!
0:52. Yeah, That was diffenately a sheep.
Lol
Entity cramming is Java only and a no-go on a lot of servers due to lag issues. So, as an alternative, you can put cows in trenches standing on fences over an open room with a washing floor. When you breed the adults, the calves drop through and are washed down to your kill chamber (also meaning you are getting looting effects). Doing so with mushroom cows is also a very efficient way to stock up on red or brown mushrooms (like for a swamp slime farm) - which can be automated with dispensers if you wish (though hardly worth it). Putting an auto dispenser under your chicken egg collection into a slab will give you baby chickens as the eggs break. If you put a hopper under that slab and a block over, once they become adults they will smother, giving you a fully automatic farm that just produces raw chicken and feathers (both useful for trading to butchers and fletchers). You can set them up to auto cook as well. Hoglins are more efficient than pigs for pork and produce leather. Especially in Java where you have the roof. Wool farms with observers on the grass block are a bit more expensive to produce, but they are much, much nicer than the constantly clicking ones. I've done them with rails into sorters, just into bulk storage where I pick colors from rainbow filled chests, and used stationary hopper minecarts to have each one filling its own chest directly. The lag amounts vary with bulk storage probably being the least and the full sorter being the most.
I was wondering if anyone would bring up the entity cramming issue. It can also become an issue on single player but it's not because of the entity cramming itself being the issue. It's entity collision. Because they are all crammed in the same space, the game has to constantly calculate for them colliding. This can even happen in smaller pens or some kinds of breeders. Best to just keep the numbers down, deal with them right away or just give them more space.
From my experience 35 chickens works fine on Bedrock, both single player and on Realms. 40 chickens works for a while then suddenly they all phase through the surrounding blocks. I've had many "double-yokers" but never a quadruple.
You mentioned everything I had in mind while watching this lol.
HE IS BACK!! WELCOME BACK EYE! 🎉
0:51 “Let’s kill this Sheep” 😂😂
Hello, I was actually the first comment, sorry about that 'firsters'
Yeah right🙄
I've only seen the 4 chickens from 1 egg twice, and ironically, they both happened nearly back to back when I was throwing a ton of eggs.
Reason for farming carrots instead of potatoes: they work basically the same on mobs (breeding pigs and villagers), but farming potato will give some poisonous ones, making potato farms slightly less efficient
Also golden carrots and carrot on a stick
But you can bake potatoes for a decent early food source
@@Luke-pv8grAgreed. Once you start automating and scaling up further along, that's when carrots are definitely better
Potato gods will not favor well upon yall in agreement about this potato heresay.
perfect timing! I was just making a pen for my animals and this is really helpful!
0:52 "let's kill the sheep and we got cooked chicken" 😂❤ Seriously dude you're great I just had to point that out 😂
There's something relaxing about this videos i just can't find in othet youtube channels, I always put on a video from you to help me relax at work Greetings from Brazil
Wow, Im impressed. Thanks for teaching us this wierd animal duplication glitch with wheat. I hope tey wont patch it.
“If we kill this sheep we get cooked chicken”0:48
I like the Allays, it's like the bee drones in slime rancher to automate your farms.
I had a cow farm on bedrock, not knowing that entity ramming wasn't a thing. I came to the conclusions eventually that this isnt working. I opened up the farm and was greeted with over 100 cows. 😅 Definitely explained the lag issues, I would experience in that area.
it doesnt work on bedrock because instead of kill the mob they get teleported
Great video eyecraft! These vids help me get better at Minecraft!
This is a fantastic video. Simple stuff explained simply, with both a “traditional” mindset and an “advanced” mindset. Kudos to you.
“let’s kill this sheep and as you can see we get cooked chicken”😂😂😂
Lovely video mate, as always.
One thing I’ve noticed is that with chickens the fire aspect sword doesn’t always drop cooked chicken, I always get a few raw chicken as well.
"Let's kill this sheep and we got cooked chicken". 😅Love the vids man.
Great vid mate you always show things that eye never knew.
Your videos are very useful. Thank you!
I learned he calls chickens sheep
Lesson No. 1 for rabbit farms: stay away from villages. When your rabbit farm is within the radius in which cats will spawn, the cats will kill your rabbits.
I was waiting for this only
I always leave 4 animals after harvesting. I would leave 2 before but I found that leaving 4 made repopulation faster. Moss carpet or any carpet on your fence helps with getting in and out of pens without animals escaping. I built a fishing platform with an underwater observation room underneath. It became an underwater chicken farm. It was a good way to use eggs, I would stand at the top entrance hole for the ladder and throw the eggs against the wall. The chicks would drop down into the room and they would also get fed seed. When the game starts running at 12fps you know it’s time to harvest.
Thank you! Although I’m sure the animals in my future industrial sized farms will not be so grateful.
Love your vids. Thank you.
i love it how eye just casually calls a chicken a sheep and no one talks about it
Bro I love your content I started playing Minecraft to keep up with my kids I highly recommend, and I love all your break downs!! Very precise👍👍👏👏👏
You practiced your cadence and thats why you got my subscription, thank you for making accurate Minecraft content
miss ur uploads bro
Best tutorials, very helpful!
Dang, didn't know that stuff about rabbits! Love the in depth content
3:30 Chickens have the highest chance to spawn within the jungle-type biomes, over any other type of biome, so jungles are also good areas to look for chickens if you don't mind navigating the dense foliage.
pass through with an axe and some shears to get some building materials and to make a path while you're in there to grab chickens
The ocelots will come for your chickens though 😢 Nearly Impossible to have a Chicken farm unless you have a larger coop (Because somehow on Bedrock the Oceleots can bite them If they are situated on the 'Edge' of the enclosure through the blocks ....
So glad to see the videos again
thanks for the farming ideas!
You make these videos actually interesting.
I also have been playing minecraft for a while now and learning new things from you.
I'm not playing minecraft for some time but i still watching these videos, they are relaxing in some way
your videos are so perfect. they’re calming enough that i use them to fall asleep but entertaining enough that i watch them when im bored literally the best kind of videos
I suggest that, in a very early game, you make a makeshift pen for non-rabbit livestock out of a 5x5, 2-block deep hole with a block on the ground, in the center. This will prevent livestock from jumping out but allow you to do a run-jump out of it until you can get a gate made. Make sure there's access to grass for sheep with grass blocks on the walls of the pen to spread.
Eyecraft youre awesome man. When are you gonna do a minecraft session with viewers? Would love to hav some fun. Maybe do some PvP or a few factions games
This is a far more hilarious and less depressing version of factory farming, just for Minecraft. Literally cramming so many animals into one spot that they just start dying, lol
Now I can sit and wait til the Big Green Eye upload a Blaze Farm guide
I love your videos, can't be found anywhere else
Honestly your the best guider i ever seen bro and your kinda Underrated
11:02 doesn’t work for bedrock edition because there is no entity cramming so don’t bother trying this method in bedrock edition
Worked for the chickens for me, but not the cows. I tried like 3xs thinking I was doing it wrong but its definitely just bedrock edition.
Bro your the best you give us so many advises
In the chicken farm you can set up a 5x5 area and use hoppers with carpets on top run all the hoppers to a chest and you'll have more eggs then you'll know what to do with
Eyeeeee let's go new video we love you ❤
best minecraft ytb in my oppinion, keep up the good work😉
as always your incredible
Best tutorials on the INTERNET !!!!!!
Love your videos!
for the animals mob back in the day theyd despawn in a closed area that was 20 blocks. is that still a thing? and is it possible for wolves to spawn into a pen with them?
I love your work 😎. Please, can you do an automatic farm with crops and villigers, i made one from your videos and my villagers don't want to share food with the third one. They just stack the food, plant and hardvest, when they are full inventory the carrot just laing drop on the ground. Thank s
Great tips that EXPERIENCED players always take for granted!
This has been a super helpful video! Thanks! I have a question though… The observers working in the sheep shearing, how do they detect the wool growth when they are “looking” at each other? It works great! I’m just trying to understand why. It seems like one of them would have to be facing the sheep..? Thanks for any help!
They aren't detecting the sheep. They face each other and detect the state chanfe in the other observer, creating a clock that fires every other tick. This makes the dispensers fire pointlessly most of the time. If you want to detect when sheep grow their wool, you'd have to make the observers detect the state changes in the grass block - when the grass grows and when it gets eaten.
This is one of the best Minecraft Channels ever. I Learned so much because of this channel. thank you so much EyeCraft 😊😊😊
damn this might be THE best beginner guide out there
how do you get chicken from killing sheep?
what
is it possible to farm different flowers like a crop?
Once, the first egg I threw in a savegame gave me 4 chicken. That was nice
eyecraftmc is back
I clicked on this video hoping to learn something cool that I never would've thought of because farming and ranching is something I do in literally every world and I do it significantly more than mining in the early game. I watched the video to see what cows eat and how to put them in a pen. So exactly what I already do.
There’s something so satisfying about how in depth You get with this series, like a nice thicc bowl of mashed potatoes
I prefer the fiery sword of looting method to get multiple cooked meats over the entity cramming method. It requires less food, and you get more drops. I put a hopper minecart under the ground to collect all the items. Of course. the entity cramming method is a good solution if you don't yet have a fiery sword of looting.
0:50 that’s a nice looking sheep
You came out from NO WHERE in my recommendations And become 1 of the best Minecraft guider (Yes. I've been watching your videos. It's 10/10) Perfect explanation. Chill tone voice. Easy to understand.
Minecraft earth had a lot of variants for cows, sheep, chickens and pigs. It would be cool if they add in Minecraft
will you ever make a new LP series like the one you started you channel with?
The carpet on the fence maneuver absolutely blew my mind. Where have I been?
Eyecraft the king ❤
Thank you i know everything now this will be viral
Amazing
Can you make a video on best gold and iron farms in 1.20 please
So much beetroot hate out there. It’s the fastest growing farm crop, and it feeds two animals. You get better rates from the farmer villagers too! Just don’t eat them yourself. 😂
6:55 a nightmare came true 😂 i would love to never pickup eggs again and he is giving it to an allay 😂
I built the cow farm without Water and it was almost impossible to breed them, will do this change next time
Im the first one
When I see your profile I always think of snivy from Pokémon
I hope you go live soon again ❤
For the fire aspect sword one, I recently discover that when you kill a zombie with a fire aspect sword, if the zombie drops a potato, it’ll be a baked potato which i find hilarous for some reason
This man thoroughly enjoys ripping the arms off ants and cutting up worms to "make more"
Canon you du rarest mobs videos plz

Hi, i did both the cow farming & sheep farming method in bedrock on Nintendo switch. the water log effect for cows doesn't work, they just drown and die. the game doesn't allow me to put a block of water underneath the cows. also i setup sheep auto farm correctly but none of the sheep wool is being collected? Plz help, been watching all your tutorials lately trying to get my world nice but struggling. spent 3-4hrs gathering materials to find out contraption doesn't work....smh!!!!
Even in minecraft, I can't help but trying to give my animals a species-appropriate life on my farm, I couldn't do all of these ideas😂
thxx yuhh btw.. :3 ^
