That sucks! I need to feel less sensory overload and direct eye contact is disturbing for me. It literally causes neurological damage for me to force myself to ignore that sign that my sensory input is overloaded. And I can’t explain that because people think I am being high maintenance or making excuses rather than giving them new intelligent information. It’s like people are allergic to learning new things these days.
