Another great episode, and by the way I use Photoshop, not AI to make the movie posters. I am glad you enjoy my work!
Cool poster man! Nice work. 👍🏻
Great job. Very funny….keep ‘em coming!
keep it up!
Analog photoshop. RAD!!
22:00 “Let’s look at a clip!” Spudley we love ya - that was perfect.
"you said let's roll the clip and it's a picture!"
@@SkottomaniaDid you say that, are you serious, do you know what you just said?
My favorite joke on this and fly on the wall is spades "let's go to a clip" 😂😂 gets me every time! Love both shows guys keep it up! ❤
Late 80’s early 90’s were the best cast years of the entire SNL series. I made myself learn how to program a VCR to make sure I’d see every sketch. Love this podcast and Fly On The Wall.
Same here with the VCR
You have no idea how much I love and look forward to these episodes. Not many things these days make me laugh so hard
I agree - so many laughs coming unexpected
the guru bits at the end were gold
So glad they’re doing video episodes
David on car horns - comedy gold. At 36:09 "when I beep the horn on my land cruiser, dogs are like this..." (makes the face) hilarious! It's those moments that elevate this version of your show above the regular podcast . Thank you for the laughter guys!
31:15 Show starts.
😂
Thank you sir. I just happened to come down this far to see if anyone was feeling the same as me? Haha, apparently a couple of you!
I enjoyed Sarah. There’s a lot of misogynistic pricks watching these two, but I wouldn’t expect anything different from the majority of the boomer generation.
Huge fan of Sarah. Fell in love with her sketch work the first appearance she had. Felt like a Tina Fey, Will Ferrell..... moment. You just know!
Love the framed Wacky Package stickers hanging on the wall. I used to collect those when I was a kid in the 70s.
I got one at Seattle goodwill like 3 yrs. ago and yes, some of my faves from back then are on it like "Neveready"
The ending cracked me up! 😂
The ending riffing on the cult leaders😂😂😂😂
“Let’s look at a clip”. 👏🏻
Who else needs a compilation of David laughing? 🙋♀️
Meeeeeeeeeeeee
His instagram posts got me through covid lockdowns: infectious-but-not-lethal laugh ☺️
It's my ringtone
Without sounding too obsessive, all my phone notifications are his voice (hey...gotta find your joy somewhere 😉). IG is his laugh. I lucked out on getting him saying my name-- that's my text notifications. 😚
I honestly laughed harder at this weekend’s SNL than I have in years! So many funny sketches Beavis & Butthead and alien abduction! Kate takes it too far and causes Ryan to break, hilarious! 😂
Waiting for them to workshop Norm Macdonald at OJ's funeral performing the Eulogy
Oh yeah, that's Gold! 🥇
Last night I remembered it is Friday today - and Suoerfly! I was so happy ☺️ You always make me laugh. Thank you 😘
David explaining his horn is hilarious 😂
'lets look at a clip' lol
Thank you guys plus Sarah for the many laughs. I really enjoy the riffing.
KILLER - - - AS ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!! Still laughing and it's over!
Molly Jamba...laughed and laughed!
The guy that made himself alternatively abled is as some great poets once said insane in the membrane, insane in the brain
Awesome!!❤😂😂 I love these guys 😂😂
Road rage: george costanza and the finger.😂
The people have spoken, WE’VE HAD ENOUGH
These two are a perfect match. Spade’s sarcasm and Dana’s impressions make me crack up so much. Especially when Dana’s impressions are edgy.
I was like, “why don’t they just play the clip?” But David explaining it and doing the sound effects of how the guy would walk in the garbage bag costume turned out way better. 😂
leaving a comment for Spadudle to read later. Love both of you! Keep em coming
That first question...I think the key to staying funny for the long-term is through the use of inside jokes!
Love u guys thanks for the chuckles! 😂
omgosh *redemption* with this week's GUEST Sarah Sherman incredible talent!
You guys are the absolute cutest and get funnier every year! Thank you for a lifetime of funny and giving us something to look forward to in this crazy life. Love from Toronto xo
Wow. That Eckhart Tolle fantastic. Both you guys make me laff!
OK IM 43 AND THIS HAS LITERALLY BEEN A DREAM COME TRUE. TO SIT IN ON 2 LEGENDS AND SARA WHO IS A GENIUS AND JUST BE....WAIT FOR IT...A FLY ON THE WALL AT A PITCH MEETING FOR SNL. THIS WAS A DREAM. I AM CACKLING.
Yes it was very nice.
These 2 hooking up has been the GREATEST for this GenXer, too!! ❤
I did lose it watching that SNL short that Gosling did about his obsession with the Papyrus font...he was hilarious
This episode was so funny! I love you! The eclipse was decent where I was, but thankfully I had a welders mask!! This whole skit was hilarious! Amazing job! Pee-wee Sherman 😅
The midnight toker hat is legendary
I am laughing so much!! Hahaha!!😂
My favorite podcast ❤️🙌🏽
So freaking funny. Y’all are hilarious! Thank you!
Eckert Tolle and the gurus at the end was fantastic ! Gotvto do those again! Omgeeeee😂
Oh my God... Dana just killed me with Guru and moustache telepathy!!
Yay ! Love you guys !!!!!! 🤩🤩🤣🤣😍😍
The trash bag thing was extremely confusing. Dana... we hear you. Also, Eckhart Tolle is a gem. 💗
I like how Dana's pitches were mainly his fantasies of Sarah and gosling getting freaky
This is a great episode.
Look at you two, making my day 💖
Funny! Love it!
Great chat as always. Gotta say, I have a little (formerly) secret crush on Sarah Sherman. Specifically when she is in long hair wigs on the show, she looks great with longer hair. She and Keenan Thompson are the funniest cast members ATM. Keep the laughs coming folks.
Sarah at the Barber “Gimme the 1973 PTA mom!”
The Strangle hahaha
Great stuff
Soooo Funny, this morning a guy let switch lanes and go in front of him, I waved, but wasn't sure he saw the wave so i waved again, he was looking down (we were in traffic) so i kept waving figuring he had to see at least one wave Hahahaha
I remember off the highway from San Diego to El Cajon, in the late 1980’s, I was told that the Motel 8 there (8, not 6) had raised the price to $15 a night which still sounded very cheap to me. Today, Motel 6 in the Seattle area is a skosh under $100 after taxes & fees.
“…and now, I would like you to approach the altar and squat on my jollyjawmba.” -Guru
Wendy the security guard was amazing
The best looking snl chick ever
Both of you are doing a great job for laughs.
Agree with the wave
Good show guys. You could talk about peanut butter, I’m in!
Making Ryan Gosling break isn’t an idea, it’s a given
Their gags are great. Guru bit is awesome.
I've got a pitch for a weekly show. Reese witherspoon w a backpack on walks through different parks and landscapes. Both hands on backpack strap and a big smile. Classic show, probably no laughs, but a great show
Motel 8 used to $8.88 for a single room thus the name motel 8. It was like 10 bucks or so for a double.
I was trying to bring the wave back,
I thought the eclipse hype was hilarious and silly but watching it go completely dark in Dallas in the middle of the day, then watching it change back? That was pretty cool. It just got a bit overcast like tornado days just a few hours drive away.
Those pitches were great.
I have an issue when people are sitting at a light and aren't waiting to go when the light turns green - I mean we're sitting in traffic and want to move forward. 😆🤣🤣
The Mysterious Moustache is hilariously brilliant. I might grow one myself. Then cut and sell them intermittently as need be.
Dana - I had no idea of Motel 6 being $6
Holding out for the 98 cent store 😂 Think about it this way, if you wait to go to the 98 cent store, the savings will be like "buy 98 items, get the 99th for free!"
Good answer Dana. ✌️❤️
Lulijumba! 🤣🤣🤣
Best show going!
This is the best comedy going to me.
The denouement to the foot fetish restuarant sketch is, the waiter brings their order and the plates each contain a foot, garnished with salad etc. "Would you like corn with that darling?" asks the guy. "No, but maybe a verruca," she replies.
We definitely have not had enough😂
About traffic etiquette: here in Oklahoma we wave all the time but have the excessively polite “you go - no you go - no you go,” until both go at once and crash in the middle of the intersection.
Was there a tribute to Christopher Durang, who just passed, last week? ‘Cause he was in the first ever Derek Smalls sketch with Phil and Sigourney Weaver.
The add for Mando hilarious 😅😅😅😅😅😅I always skip adds but you guys this was lmfao call it “pit stop”
chicken body was used on Muppet Show with Harvey Korman.
It ain't gonna jollylamba itself.
Pit stop!😂
Don't know what it is about Indian accents, but they crack me up.
David’s comment: you can’t have surgery to get more funny!!! 😅😅
snorted twice today. thanks for that.
The waiving acknowledgment must be an older generation thing. No one does it anymore. The younger people don’t seem to do it, especially when they are coming out of the smoke shop
I'm just here for the live reads!
Did you get the disembodied head skit idea from the joke I sent in as Tom Brokaw?
Thought it was one of their assistants talking. I was like this lady sure is suddenly talking a lot. Came here to see who she was, and it’s Sarah Sherman.
Just wanted to tell Dana, I rearry rearry rike OJ! Thnx guys!
Dana reminds me of this new kid in the neighborhood back in the day. Riding our dirt bikes on the trails we came up on him fishing in the woods. Our group started talking to him a bit. "Where you from?" Etc. Talking fish, his fancy rod and tackle box, and what kinda worms and assorted stinky slop he's baiting with . After a bit he says a hilarious thing that gets us all busting up. Then a bit later he says an even funnier thing that gets us rolling again. So we automatically accept him into the group. No trial period or nothing. Next couple times we all meet up he's just kinda there with us. Quiet. Looking like he's not sure why he gets to hang. Like maybe we're up to something. A few of the older, cooler kids were a bit intimidating. Obvious "ladies' men" of the neighborhood. But the group wasn't up to something. Not even the cool kids, who were pleased to have a new jester among us for those slow summer days. For the next couple of meetups he starts talking a lot. Like...he won't shut up. Like he's suddenly King Jester of the Neighborhood. Saying a bunch of zany things in a weird-boy way then looking around for fireworks. But it's a dead fuse. Every....freaking...time. As the weeks pass he starts getting frustrated. Starts muttering under his breath in the general direction of the cool kids, "Ah some people just don't get it. Never will. Waste of my time actually." This went on for a few more meetups. But instead of clueing into the reality that he was not only not getting laughs, but rather silence and sideways looks...he STILL kept at it. Like a wacked-out enemy of the peace & cool. Even interrupting the ladies' men during their lady stories; which we were all honed in on like Super Glue. Not good. Us younger kids got chills watching this spectacle. Baffled that anyone could be this clueless, and reckless. The next weekend we see him off in the distance fishing nude. So we make our way over. Make a bit of small talk. In short order he fires off one of his geekowitz corn bombs. As if on cue we summarily jump his ass. Toss his tackle box in the lake and force feed him two Can O' Worms. Then, noticing he forgot to apply sunscreen that morning, grab his stinky Can O' Slop and smear it all over him as a gesture of good faith. Then toss him in the lake over and over for a quick game of Crawdaddy Catfish Revenge. (Or just CCR down Louisiana way.) We never saw him again, that Dana looking kid. Sometimes I wonder what became of him. Or if he's actually Dana. But that's just not possible Surely that kid MUST have learned his lesson. No?
these are way better than the interviews.... i mean don't stop interviewing BUT.... these are so much better
love the outside the SNL outlet you guys give comedians (don't watch it anymore other than clip here or there). can't wait to delve into Sarah vid clips. great work as always! only thing missing on Dave's Death Wish poster board was his Midnight Toker hat!
Her weekend update role of accusing Colin Jost of horrible things is my favorite stuff from her.
Love the hat, Spade 🤘
David needs to know the big news, the Golden bachelor is getting divorced! 😂
Love the conspiracy theory about boats and losing power, it also highlights our incredibly bad infrastructure
2 hours is never enough
The head talk reminded me of Mars Attacks with Sarah Jessica Parker and Pierce Brosnan
Definitely in my David Spade Era ❤
Me Too! 🥰
The honorable "Swami Givmeyomoney."
