5:45- That's ice on the floor 7:36- Enchantments in the SoW universe have two states: an "activated" state and an "idle" state. That was the enchantment going from active to idle. Thanks for not sinning any of my bits xd

4:37 I'd have to oppose that. For something as deep as SoW, it's kind of necessary for a prologue like this to get the viewer used to the world, Songs and past events which are referred back to. David's talked about a few things like this in his behind the scenes, also explaining how the prologue was being read by Thalleous. 8:04 That's the inside of the arm, which don't have markings. Some good finds there though, some sins just picking on their style which have been covered in previous vids, but great job.

One little thing, Thalleous' markings on the left arm didn't disappear, he was holding his stomach, so that the arm was turned around and from the back we saw the inside of the arm.

Unofficial response from a big fan of SoW: 1: He was searching for a target, he started attacking literally 1 second later. 2: The lore states that the Ardoni are very strong. 3: Basic geography mate, those exist naturally aswell, especially when it's a "newly" formed mountain, lets say an earthquage happened 10 years ago and changed it's shape a bit. Earthquakes can be local. And the mountaing WERE terraformed, for various reasons like building the walls of time. 4: It's minecraft logic, they were trying to balance between realism and the laws of the game. 5: You got me there 6-16: Look point 4 17: How do you think they would be able to make this possible in minecraft 18: Those are ceremonial staffs more than weapons 19-23: You got a point 25: I agree 26: He probably went the wrong way 27: Uhhh... wdym 28: k 29: That's the part of the animation process, look up the "Ardoni skin tutorial" where the animator explains it. 30-34: come on, you already added enough of those for the same thing, now it's just being rude 35-36: ? 37-46: Why, there wasn't THAT much of them 47: You clearly are trying to give the best animation many strikes just so you can make drama, don't you. Lol, yeah. This is biased but I think that Songs of War was just really good and that meant that if they were to make an interesting video on it, they would have to point out a lot more. David, the director of the series did spend a lot of time trying to perfect it as much as he could. Still though, this is my opinion and I really enjoy watching Songs of War, so it's gotta be biased...

I think it’s a pretty cool movie because it actually teaches you something
The stone reflects because there is supposed to be a thin layer of ice on it. Also the sword’s glow dims because it is not used (part of the lore).
A very good, well made animation that probably took 4 years: *Has one easily missable mistake* Animation Sins: 80 sins, take it.
While I do enjoy Animation Sins, my one major gripe is when you sinned the stone being reflective. Because the stone is not reflective. David R. B. explained that it was supposed to be ice. That scene does take place in Northwind, the coldest kingdom of Ardonia afterall. The texture was originally meant to be in Episode 7, in Hogtown, but David later removed it because it didn't react to characters walking over it. He then put it in Episode 1 and changed some things to make it look like ice. To end on a good note, it's cool that you guys have a new narrator!

In a good animation, you do your best to find mistakes. In the end, you've find more sins that you do that you usually find in a common bad animation.
To bad most of the sins in this video wasn't even sins if you look at behind the scenes and lore of songs of war, he even give 30 sins ( or less I can't remember) for all the floating model's and there was only 3 times that happened in episode 1
Somebody took a clip from Songs Of War and used as a Minecraft mods mobile app. They even put random music that has nothing to do with the situation on it.

At 5:54 it is supposed to be reflective. There ice on it
5:44 that’s not the Stone being reflective, that’s ice. 7:19 it’s snow. I can pull out sticks larger than that sword with ease.
First off all, a sword has larger mass than a wooden stick. It takes more work to move an object at a heavier mass at the same rate than an object with a lower mass. Also, if it was only in the snow, it would not be able to support its weight enough to keep it static. The ultimate tensile strength of snow is much too low, the sword was certainly in the ground.

Welll as you can see from the Ardoni _flinging_ his spear at a wither skeleton they’re stronger than normal humans so maybe it’s just he’s strong enough to pull a sword through a thin layer of snow and a thick layer of permafrost or dirt

Unless the sword is composed of more than one different homogeneous mixture (which it clearly is not, as the whole thing is a homogeneous mixture), such that the mixture of the two different solutions would change the center of gravity of the sword dramatically, it stands to reason that the axis of the center of gravity is parallel to the blade, and intersects its vertex. In the shot, the center of gravity is not above a support, meaning the blade would tip. This would be pulled down by gravity mg, and the strength of it can be calculated but I won't do that here. Just know that is stands to reason that it needed to be quite far into the ground to be in rest the way it was. Therefore, it would not offer the minuscule resistance the animators claimed it would.

The "wanky" character rigs and the way the weapons looked and stuff like that shouldn't be counted as an animation sin, since its just a design choice. Also David (the director of SoW) stated that the characters were rigged in such way, that the skins could easily be worn in game without major differences, like the mouths and eyebrows.
1:53 those are the staffs of the 4 clans. Additionally, the staffs help the ardoni channel the power of the songs and also initiate a new ardoni into the clan. its only logical to carry them. You didnt mention whatsoever how the staffs detract from the scene

3:38 I think it is specifically made that way so you see that he is literally in his element in the burning village after slaughtering so many people and 7:35 that Thalleous's sword stops glowing is due to the fact that in this animation entchanted items can be activated and deactivated, so of course it stops glowing when he hasn't equipped it

The energy spreads on to the edges of the shield since the middle has more resistant & regularly deflects or spreads away most kinetic energy
