  • I like this I need multifunctional lots badly. Like they could use the For rent pop down menu to separate the stores. Omgg

    • I wonder if it's in the works and the For Rent was a test of how it works for players! Hopefully it is and they learn from it and are able to tweak it so it actually works well!

  • This is a good idea. I liked that you had to actually buy clothes in the Sims 2 to have them. That could be an option that could be turned off for those that don't like it. And, they could add online clothes shopping that tied into Trendi.

    • In my game, I make sims go shopping when I want to create a new outfit. Before that, I never went to clothes stores.

  • You’re making me want to make an entire list of ideas to present to the game developers and be like, “This is what we want.” Like, even very small things, like more realistic/specific interactions, or even just couples being able to walk holding hands.

    • YESSSS!!! I’ve been so badly wanting an interaction with a couple holding hands. It’s only just kissing I’ve seen so far, but I really want wholesome things like couples holding hands while walking instead of them walking separately all the time. I also wanted cute friendship interactions, like piggy back rides, putting their hand over their friends shoulder, idk, something like that! It’ll be so cool! The closest thing I have to couples holding hands is a mod.

  • I've been wanting this kind of gameplay for so long. I often put shopping stores and grocery stores in my game, but they are mostly decorative because we lack the gameplay functions to make it realistic.

  • I totally agree! I would love a expansion pack for shopping! We could have a lot trait like when you have to have ingredients to cook. But with essential products we need for every day life including food.

  • We need multifunctional lots badly, I always have to get the mod by littlemssam that allows vendors and NPCs to auto spawn. I just built a grocery store that took 3 days and there’s a coffee/flower shop connected to it but I wish they could run separately instead of being owned by the same person. Not to mention my game has a bug where if someone owns the lot and I come as a different household no one can buy anything. I feel like the sims team just never goes the extra mile when it comes to stuff like this so you always end up having to work around it.

  • After years of building the most detailed mall lot for sims 4, we NEED malls/multipurpose lots! With my build, ppl will be begging MAXIS to spit out a game/expansion pack

  • This is a nice idea but it wouldn’t work in the Sims 4 maybe in the next Sims 5. This sims in the game aren’t lively, I can just see them standing around in one spot for too long. I can also see the game being laggy, or it could end up like my wedding stories

  • In Australia now instead of having cash registers a lot of supermarkets have self check outs. They still have a few cash registers but majority of the check out done now is by self serve/self check out

    • yeah we have a lot of self check outs too! i mentioned it in the video and was talking about how i'd even love that in the sims as well! having the option to go wait in line for the cash or go to self checkout would be such a better experience than a sim quickly coming up to you with a tablet

  • Hey Fantayzia, I've been a subscriber for years but I don't think I've ever said hi or commented before, and I'm sorry I've never done this before. I agree with you 100 percent on this one. I don't know which store game you are referring to, there's been a few that have released recently, but I don't think I've seen any new ones that are well executed. In fact, the whole history of Mall Tycoon games is pretty sus, to put it mildly. I think the one shopping sim game that did it right was Another Brick in the Mall, and if you haven't seen it, you should definitely check it out. In any case, you are awesome, and keep up the great work.

    • Yup. You didn’t buy individual items, just a supply of food that could run out.
