Helpful Tips:
1. I went on an excursion to Abu Dhabi from Sharjah. There are traffic jams in this emirate in the morning and evening, so I returned to the hotel at about 10 p.m. (we left Abu Dhabi at about 7 p.m.). Tourists from Dubai arrived at their hotels the fastest. Transfer to Ajman takes a little longer than to Sharjah. It is also possible to go on an excursion from Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.
2. When visiting a mosque in Abu Dhabi, you must follow a strict dress code. Men should have their shoulders and knees covered. Women must cover their heads, as well as cover their arms to the hands and legs to the ankles. Open shoes are allowed. The entrance to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque complex is through an underground gallery, where you can buy an abaya (a special Arab dress for visiting the mosque) for 45 dirhams. I rented it from a guide for 15 dirhams.
3. The excursion to Abu Dhabi includes a buffet lunch. Take a small snack with you, it may come in handy. The organizers of the excursion provided the tourists with water.
