MACH LOOP - THE LAST TORNADO AND COMPILATION - 4K

I can't tell you how many times I tried to catch the Royal Saudi Airforce Tornado. I would watch it on 360 radar doing test flights over the Irish Sea and head up to the Mach Loop the following days in the hope it would do low level test flights. After giving up the chase my friend Iwan Davies captured it along with some other flights in the loop here, Thank you Iwan.

  • As an Air Defense troop, I spent my entire career in the service studying our and enemy aircraft and there is absolutely nothing like the sound of a kick-ass fighter hauling through the ether to inspire you, get your blood pumping and get you on your toes. I SO love these, this is my kind of ASMR, and the odd "WHOO!!!" in the background echoes my own. Thanks for posting these, they are my morning coffee now!

  • The Chinook made me feel at home. Grew up in Roy Washington. Before it was JBLM Fort Luis had abrums and 150 MM howitzers being flown and deployed in the area. Nothing like looking up as a 8 year old boy to see a Chinook with a tank hanging form cabled just a few hundred feet above your house go haling ass by. I need a model of one to build. Makes me happy. Then the Apache! I did make a model of one of them as a kid. Was total crap lol. But again one of the sounds and sights i was used to over my childhood home. Thank you for this video. All the aircraft have to have memories like mine attached to them.

  • I built a beautiful 1/48 scale model of that Saudi Tornado GR4, same camouflage and everything, I love it. Also, I had a Canadian CF-130 Hercules low pass over my house a few years ago, I have pictures of it. I was down in the basement of my house and I heard this massive rumbling sound, shaking my house, it sounded like what it was, giant combustion engines roaring away. I went outside, I couldn’t believe how low he was, and he passed over twice, so I grabbed my camera.

I'm a massive mach fan, having lived on Anglesey most of my life and a village at the start and end of the loop from valley side up north. Bethesda is the place, up the old roman road in the fields there, very narrow road to get there but the jets come out off the loop from the turn at devil's ridge in the mountains, usually at full chat, low and straight over your head! You did the planes justice in flight to, great filming 👌👍
