Jeremy Rupke nah, you can't read like Floyd Mayweather, it says "the track was written by Boy 1da (pronounce Boy wonda)" Who might I add is a KNOWN ghost writer. Do your research. He's a producer and song writer/ghost writer. #ReadingComprehension101 ps. and im sure he made the beat, he writes songs to his beats, thats how he makes money, selling the beats and the lyrics.
@pistolpete50719 жыл бұрын
All drakes shit sound the same.. this sound like started from the bottom! he doesn't have a rapper voice IMO I like rappers like t.i, c-murder,lil boosie, tupac ,notorious big and as much as I don't like puffy he done better music than this with b.i.g.. It makes the rap better when the rapper comes from a hard past.Diddy's dad was a heroin dealer who got shot in the streets of harlem drake is from a good neighborhood in canada he was never hood lol This guy drake was on nickelodeon before he became a rapper! Eminem is from a harder place than this dude. Drake is ok but nothing special Lil Herb featuring common "fight or flight" rap kills this 1 that's some real rap drake is fake. And I don't even love diddy that much but he can ride some beats and he actually telling a story like the song "Do u know" by Puff daddy or "Victory" ..drake is just throwing words at the listener and uses good hooks and beats to hook u lol but he sounds like a mosquito in my ear, so I have a hard time listening to his voice it's pretty annoying.. like a whiny little bitch sound lol

Love this. Full of confident vibes. Here's some bit of advice i have for anyone. 1) Define specifically what you want, the ideal scene, 2) expand your scene with details, 3) write it down, writing it down changes everything 4) dream building (go look at it, touch it, feel it, make contact), 5) see yourself in possession of what you want to attain and feel now as you would when you've attained it, 6) something you can attain within 6 months to a year, create momentum, 7) write down an objective or goal for 1-3 months, 8) what action step can you take tomorrow, 9) weekly chart or graph your progress One Love🌟

The Catch up verse is so underrated because you realize how relatable it is. Like that shit always hits home whenever I hear it. I honestly think Drake doesn’t get the credit he deserves for his story telling or the connection he is able to make to fans simply because he’s so big as an artist now, he’s not the best but he’s definitely great at it.

Amongst Drake’s best work. This was the period where Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Eminem and Kanye really started declining and that left an opening at the game’s top. As we all know, Drake was the one to grab it and run, and in this song, he perfectly and beautifully sums up his situation. Sounds nice, and is iconic looking back now

Was a different kind of drake when lil Wayne was still as main stream, now that lil Wayne ain’t been in music like he was before drakes fire dimmed, he ain’t have a solid one to go back and fourth with. I remember I was at drake Vs lil Wayne battle concert and this was in drake peak, still couldn’t match the energy the crowd had for lil Wayne. Was insane to see

This song literally changed my life, for the better. Thank you Drake
Drake was really a rapper in this era, a hungry rapper spitting bars, he just an artist/music maker who drops catchy music nowadays. I remember being a freshmen in quarantine and hating Drake and wondering why people even considered him a rapper, then I looked at all his old stuff, he was really like that bruh. Current Drake is just a vibe, Old Drake gives me hype and motivation.
That father line. Valuable lessons come in crazy forms.

this version will forever be goated rather then the shorter version
This was the anthem back in 2014 this song brings back hella memories I remember being in parties on the Xbox 360 with friends blasting this🙌🏿💯🏆🐐
Funniest part is Diddy thought he could go in on that beat
Pistol Pete The lyrics would not be the same and you should re-read that article. The article says the BEAT was made and sent to Drake and Diddy, not the lyrics.
TheCreeper619 cuz i want to and its the truth. Why you asking me? you mad bruh? You upset he don't write his raps? whats up with you?
Jeremy Rupke nah, you can't read like Floyd Mayweather, it says "the track was written by Boy 1da (pronounce Boy wonda)" Who might I add is a KNOWN ghost writer. Do your research. He's a producer and song writer/ghost writer. #ReadingComprehension101 ps. and im sure he made the beat, he writes songs to his beats, thats how he makes money, selling the beats and the lyrics.
Bigmone357 Drake don't even write his raps. He's not a real MC/rapper, he just paying dudes to write for him, been doing since those old mixtapes that got him on.
‘ Being humble, don’t work aswell as being aware ‘ 🔥 🔥

Here's some bit of advice i have for anyone. 1) Define specifically what you want, the ideal scene, 2) expand your scene with details, 3) write it down, writing it down changes everything 4) dream building (go look at it, touch it, feel it, make contact), 5) see yourself in possession of what you want to attain and feel now as you would when you've attained it, 6) something you can attain within 6 months to a year, create momentum, 7) write down an objective or goal for 1-3 months, 8) what action step can you take tomorrow, 9) weekly chart or graph your progress One Love🌟
I still remember the day I heard this the first time. In my 1st period and my teacher was playing this in the background while we were testing and I heard the beat. Just the way Drake was going off was so different imo. Like in my head that track cemented his legacy as "THAT GUY" in the rap game.
That verse ruined the song

So true this was his last hoorah of the old Drake imo
2014. Was in LA when this song was a week old. Man the vibes and cruising at night that summer was top tier.
Top 3 rappers: Socrates Aristotle Homer
Hahaha cuz rapping is actually poetry.
Jef Figueroa ... Aristotle was a philosophy and Socrates was Platos teacher.. Not exactly poets.
kelsorocs3 oh yeah my bad...but isn't rap poetry?
I think rap can be poetry but virtually anything Lil Wayne comes out with is anything but poetic.
kelsorocs3 Yeah
the second half of this song, “The Catch Up” speaks to my soul. And the end where it just says “Could it be the way that i will catch up?” for a little bit just gets me. Not sure why, it just makes me feel so good. Wish this version was on itunes :/

Hottest in the game right now: 1) Kendrick Lamar 2) Drake 3) J cole 4) Hopsin
Drake like created Kendrick. Drizzy all the way.
Kenneth Madrid u dumb? kendrick would destroy drake lyrically. Drake can't even freestyle.
Kendrick? he's been irrelevant for this whole year. I admit he is a very talented rapper but when you say hottest in the game right now it has to be drake. This guy has been releasing a lot of dope tracks after NTWS and has been on many tours while Kendrick has yet to release anything after his last album. He's only been on features as far as I know. But whatever its music, everyone has there opinions
Hopsin?! xD. What the fuck has he done to get in a list called "Hottest in the game right now:" He hasn't done shit but put his music on You Tube like any other internet rapper.
