Thing sounds like refined violence. Like an AMG that actually works. Gotta love the Japanese.
My friend I believe this is exactly like an AMG that actually works 😭
e90 without the headache
@@lunara9158 I can agree that it kind of sounds like an amg, but it is nothing like an e92/e90 m3, especially because it's auto. The S65 sounds so much better than this or a big ass amg v8
@@houseking9211 auto has faster shifts and alot of e90s were the DCT ones because people actually wanna drive them and not keep them as a track only car manuals are a pain in the ass after 1 week of driving in traffic in these you just relax and have it shift like a bolt action rifle through the gears and another thing I dont know if a manual would even suit this car its a big v8 saloon that is still modern it suits older v8 super saloons like a good old e39 m5 with a manual is great but this idk man I dont think anyone would have bought a manual ISF unless they really enjoy manuals
sounds so good. such a good car. very underrated
It’s gaining attention is the US the past few years I’m sure, It’s yet to catch up here in NZ though
Im a simple guy, i see and isF i subscribe.
I like that 🤝
Great AND responsible driving. This is how a spirited drive on a public road should be done. Oh - nice car too!
Really appreciate it, thanks a lot 🙏🤝
Yeah, he actually stayed in the left lane, unlike some knobheads on YT, who cross lanes in blind corners. Thumbs up.
Sounds amazing man! And a great piece of road as well!
It’s a great bit of road. Thanks for the support!
Man miss my IS F. Those revs, that air induction sound, the transmission, and the raw power!
It’s such a good combination of everything. Should look into getting one again!
Big fan of first gen IS’s. Never really looked at these, but glad the algorithm blessed me with this one. Sweet car, sounds amazing, perfect place to enjoy it too
I’m glad the algorithm blessed me with such an amazing comment. Thank you so much good sir 🤝
first time i have seen a RHD isf, insane car man love it
It’s a Jap import car! Thank you bro 🙏
Sounds crazy nice bro
Thanks man!
Sounds so nice, and its unique. Very nice driving too, enjoy the car!
Thank you so much 🙏
Such a beast. Enjoy it man. Don’t ever get rid of it. I still regret selling mine.
Why did you sell it
@@rjj00sold it for a z06 impulsively… ended up selling that for a GSF
The car is amazing the noise of that engine is amazing the road is amazing the views are amazing what a place to drive this beast at
It really is a brilliant place to take an ISF for a spirited drive 🤝
@@EnjinTalelike those old top gear days
@Mad_ISF I think sports cars should be driven in these kind of twisted roads
@@shawndon7374 yes exactly
Perfect, spirited drive in a great sounding V8 car.
One of the best V8’s 🙏
@@EnjinTale Agreed. Thanks for the content. 🍻
I’m so used to American lanes when I seen the truck I got scared 😂🤦🏻♂️
Such a beautiful engine man, makes me want to sell my fk8 to get one of these
Honestly if you can find a proper deal, it’s so worth having. Even at higher mileage
Ugh, if i can even find a clean example... it's already rare as is :(, but for now i'll just enjoy through your view, looking forward to more videos!
@@brandonn6677 Couldn’t be more grateful for the support! Thanks man 🫶
These with the equal length headers/8:1 sound magnificent I prefer the exotic sound over the muscle sound unless it's the stock induction without the muscle exhaust
Unfortunately EL Headers are incredibly expensive, but I completely agree. EL>UEL if money wasn’t a factor.
@@EnjinTale how much are they?
@@CutTheKam $4k USD
And you have another subscriber now
Appreciate you! 🙏
nice run
Thanks bro!
That’s a great sounding rude!
Thanks man!! 🤝
This was the best car I’ve ever owned
They’re incredible 🤝
Good video great car
Thank you so much man! 🤝
Nice run. I'm also running the x force catback, going to unbolt the mufflers after watching this lol
It’s a totally different animal man and you’ll never want to go back! Easy 5 minutes to do without jack stands.
@@EnjinTale did you add a straight pipe or leave it as is?
@@Jazdo72801 Currently as is, but im thinking of getting 2 small glasspack mufflers put in because the full delete has a slight bark of rasp to it, and its pretty loud to be fair.
@@EnjinTale yea I agree just a slight tone down and it'll be perfect, but still sounds so good im running it now
@@Jazdo72801 how do you find it? I love it personally and the drone is still bearable
Amazing car
Thank you man!
This car is a beast..❤
Thank you much love 🫶
great(^o^)! これからも末永くISFライフ 楽しみましょう! from japan
Greetings from NZ! 🫶
nice head camera bro :)
Thanks mate!
Nice to see another RHD ISF, I imported mine from Japan to Canada. Do you find any drone with the X-Force exhaust? Cheers!
Not the standard XForce. But this muffler delete setup with the XForce definitely has some drone in low rpm (1200-1500). I usually try to stay out of that range and it’s no issue for me. Thanks for the support!
4:50 does this dude have an entire iphone strapped to his head lmaoooooo
It does seem this dude has an entire iphone strapped to his head.
sick video, would be been cool to see you up hill with the engine under load.
Thanks man! Not quite sure what you mean, if you could explain a bit further I might be able to work on getting that in the next video.
@@EnjinTaleHe’s saying you’re not pushing the car to the limit, which is true. Based upon how you drove in the video I would NOT suggest pushing the car any harder. I don’t think it would be safe. Your “Traction or Stability Control Light” is flashing A LOT.
@@benjaminwiner6220 I absolutely agree. I keep it on to avoid sending it off a cliff
Is this NZ? You are using this car how it's meant to be driven my friend. You just get in a find a nice road such as this and enjoy every turn 😎
This is indeed NZ! That’s right, I was slightly dissapointed about the lack of videos showcasing the true beauty of the ISF carving corners, so I decided to do it myself 🫶
I’m going to replace my V36 Type S with one of these when I get a chance!❤
Super worth it! The sounds of the V8 alone is so majestic.
@@EnjinTale Agreed…rather an ISF than unreliable German rubbish…
I would love to go rip my ISF like this more often, NJ roads just too crowded haha. Gotta head up to NY or something
Search around locally for some nice roads if you haven’t already. Trust me once you find a road similar to this with no traffic, this car is an absolute dream to drive and it’ll remind you why you bought it.
@@EnjinTalethis video actually made me go look for some fun roads by me and i found a nice little loop that I've been driving lately. really would like to find some that have absolutely no residential houses along them but I'm enjoying my new route a ton haha
@@Zarrex Good stuff bro! Glad I could inspire you, that makes me so happy 🙏
Upstate NY has the Adirondack and Catskill mountains which have really really great roads, most famous of which is Bear Mountain
ISF’s are great cars the sound after 4000rpm is unreal! Also Is road in NZ?
The type of car that sounds great in all RPM! Yes this road is in NZ.
this is my dream car man... feel lucky because some people will never get to drive.
I do remind myself from time to time. You’ll get there one day bro! Work hard for it
wow shifts pretty quick better than a 5.0 mustang
100ms shifts for a torque converter is very quick, even by todays standards. And this was 15 years ago 😳.
Where abouts in NZ is this? Perfect car for those roads.
Top of the South Island. It’s absolutely lovely!
@@EnjinTale damn I'm in Wellington so just across the Strait. Reminded me of the Remutaka's but wider.
I swear I will own a IS-F one day it may be a while but i will have one...
You got this bro 🤝
@@EnjinTale appreciate it homie 💯 🫡
Nice road bro! Where abouts is this in NZ?
The Whangamoa stretch!
@@EnjinTale Damn, im in North! gotta love taking my is350 to the limit on the backroads
@@toemad4205 Should come to the top of the south when you get a chance! You find some amazing roads here. Check out the new video, just posted 🙏
Lovely! How many km on a full tank do you get ripping like that lmao
Shhhhhh, just listen to that thundering rumble 😉. I get roughly 6-7km/L driving the way I do. On a cruise it manages a surprising 12-14km/L though. Just don’t stick it in sports mode.. 🤣
Great video. Australia?
Thanks man! This is in NZ
Is this Takaka Hill?
@@jackfarmer4880 Close, it’s the Whangamoa hills
Sounds like a W204 and E92 combined
Best of both worlds + reliability 🙏
What road in Mexico was this? I thought it was Mt Messenger for a little bit, but it’s not.
Whangamoa (Mexico ofc)
What tire/size are you running? I feel the oem size are too thin. Some people are running 245.35 275.30 instead of the oem 225.40/255.35. Nice sound, I'm getting my 08 white pearl with only 90000km out of the garage next weekend. Unless it snows 😅
I’ve got OEM tyre size, so am running 225.35/40 (can’t remember if it’s 35 or 40) and 255.35 in the rear. I wish it snowed more where I live so I could be a hooligan!! We don’t get snow all year round though :(
@@EnjinTale alright, it's 40 front, 35 rear. Some madmen on forums tried 255/35 front and 295/30 rear. Can't remember if it was the 08 wheels or the facelift wheels though. Facelift has wider rims. 😁
@@Hammar89 I would never go that big personally, I get all the traction I need with 255’s. ISF’s have incredible traction from factory I find.
I run 265/35/18 square on Ray's DRs on my ISF. I'm a big fan of how gripped up the front end is with a beefy square setup 👌
Which section of road is this??? Looks stunning
Whangamoa in NZ
Anything to look at for before buying? Does it needs TCU tune?
Absolutely not, transmission is brilliant as is. TCU tune would be a nice bonus though if money isn’t an issue
Was looking at is350s as my next car 2012 ish still worth it?
I had an Is350 before the ISF. Depends what you’re looking for. Technically the is350 is a better daily. It’s cheaper components (brakes etc.) so cheaper maintenance, and a smaller engine for better economy. The softer suspension is nicer for daily drivability too, and ofcourse incredibly reliable. It’s also pretty fast in a straight line because of the gearing. If that’s what you can afford, it’s a pretty good all round car.
curious, have you ever changed the transmission fluid?
Transmission flush was done by the previous owner before I bought the car at 154xxx. Car is at 168xxx currently.
@@EnjinTale Kms or miles?
@@ln5747 Kms
IS the steering wheel Carbon or wood?
To me it looks like the same gold-like carbon trim as the center console is on ISF’s
Do mods mess with the accuracy of the speedo?
No sir
Eql length headers?!
Stock headers, Catback + Muffler delete
I just found 2011 with only 8000 miles for sale but owner asking for 56k that’s pricey to me
My advice; if you’re looking for a garage queen, get a low mileage car, but if you’re looking to drive it like it’s made to be, a high mileage ISF is the way to go. It’s cheaper, and you don’t feel bad for putting miles on it while having fun. Mine has 105k miles, and runs like a champ. There’s an ISF out there with 400k+ miles on it still running like a champ. You truly can’t go wrong with an ISF 🙏
Pricey?? Do you know how much they go for brand new??? With 8000miles, that’s virtually brand new. Goodluck finding another one with that mileage for that price
Good driving. I hope your car is AWD
Thank you! No sir, it’s a RWD
What did you do to the exhaust?
It’s an XForce Catback with a Muffler Delete
Is this a v8?
5.0L 2UR-GSE
You're so mad!
Am I?!?
Lexus 5.0 > Ford 5.0
I would absolutely have to agree 🤝
lol dude gets over for you and you still honk I see why your name is mad isf. Its a public road just cause you wanna go fast doesn't mean everyone else has to 🤣
it was a honk of appreciation
It was an appreciation gesture to say thank you 🤝
Some people honk and some people turns on hazard lights. Different styles of saying thank you👍
You gotta be sped!! It is a common jester to honk or flash headbeams to say thank you. You must have no experience in driving.
