Btw for anyone seeing this irwin tech himself took down the shimmer video.
Downgrading doesn't fix bookmarklet, that's policy blocked, so if it doesn't work on version 111 it probably won't work on any version if your sysadmin is competent. Other than that, easy to follow.
downgrade then use shimmer then disable dev mode block then just install windows lol

not sure if you can get in trouble, you are just downgrading, and you still keep all the set restrictions. And yes you can update to the newest version
My school blocked any other chrome version other then the newest one

Yes, but all the policy and updates that your school used to make sure you couldn’t unblock will be gone. Their for it’s easy to unblock your chromebook
You can also go to the crosh (ctrl+alt+t) and powerwash it

@@shjanevanwyk9597 Just before plugging in the usb press ctrl d then press enter this will disable os verification then on this screen then press esc refresh power again and u should be able to downgrade. Proceed at your own risk
