I’m certainly not a boxing expert but I’ll say this…… I’ve always had a huge respect for AJ and always will. He is a true champion in many ways that our young up and coming boxers could look up to.
The look of joshua right after he hit him with the finishing KO was like a man on a mission, just atraight faced no smile nothing. 😂
Purely as he was told to do by his trainer.
So much more Badass when fighters don’t chest thump and Brag celebrate wildly but just walk away like they just took out the Trash Francis team would have been going Berserk and saying Told you So Shocked the world etc they would not be humble at all Class versus Trash
@@toecutter1015 well said bro
I watched an interview with joshua after the fight with Derek Chisora. He didn't even know he'd knocked Ngannou over in the first round, thats how focussed he was on the job. He demolished a 270ib monster of a guy so completely, he spent more time on the floor than he did standing up.
oh stop, the look on joshuas face when he melt down in the ring after little usyk spanked him over 2 fights says it all
My boy never NEVER gives AJ any props but will throw every excuse for that sorry heavyweight of a champ. -_-
He's picked against fury in all the wilder fights.
Teddy holds grudges against people that pick their fights
Teddy is a okay guys. I am an AJ fan but even AJ know he would have to work smarter to get openings for his short at elite level of boxing.
@@mikelapointe6095 yeah he's just shit at predictions sometimes and talks crap 😂. I love Teddy, and he can drop gems, but sometimes he's very wrong. He's lost credibility with me over the years. I barely clicked on this video tbh.
Yeah and everyone forgets this was a second benchmark. First one was dealing with Wallin…
If Wilder can find Fury's chin, Joshua most definitely can.
You know it
He will probably get up and beat him. I’m no fury fan either. He is just a better boxer/fighter. Depends on how much he has left though.
Not sure about Fury being a better boxer than AJ. I think if AJ hurts Fury he will finish him. Fury can move well for a big man but AJ has faced better opposition and can box well and has good power. Fury has a hard time with opponents who can box well. Just my opinion.@@jameskennedy3851
AJ doesn't have the same Power.
@@jameskennedy3851I don't think fury has it anymore. He's been tough on his body. Drugs, drink, wild weight gain, been floored several times with bad shots.
Completely agree. He took francis to school... And then banished him to the shadow realm
I don’t see how the ‘styles makes fights’ argument works in Fury’s favour here, if anything it makes me lean more towards Joshua. Everything about Ngannou that caused Fury to struggle - his size, speed, strength, counterpunching, fearlessness etc - Joshua has all of that. And at a much higher level. If the last Fury that we saw had been in with the most recent Joshua that we saw, Fury would have been absolutely flattened
When people say “styles make fights” to argue that Fury will beat Joshua, it sounds like code for “he’s going to lean on him”.
Cliche ,old adage ...styles make fights. If Fury comfortably beats Usyk, He'll have done something AJ Failed at TWICE...Right now AJ s last 2 fights,he definetly looks to be the better fighter ....but it can change
Exactly. AJ’s style is an absolute nightmare for Fury. I can’t stop picturing AJ uppercutting Fury to sleep. 😴
Have to agree, AJ s new style of very controlled aggression would give Fury a tough time.. And he throws bombs.. Also AJ s cornerman, who s superb, used to be w Fury for all of his Wilder fights, He knows Fury s strengths and weaknesses integrally
The element of surprise shouldn't last 10 rounds
Exactly
THIS THE 1
🏆
Never gives AJ his flowers Teddy. He’s easily got the best heavyweight resume. Of this era. By an absolute mile. His comeback has been phenomenal. He’s in such a good headspace. That’s got to be admired. Takes a lot to come back from the post Usyk Joshua.
Thank God for Joshua, making the world right again. There are levels. Godspeed from Chandler, AZ 🇺🇸 🥊🥊🥊
I was just disgusted by the blatant disrespect MMA fans showed towards Boxing
Teddy if Aj had the close fight with Ngannou 1st then Fury did what Aj did your be saying Aj a hype job and Fury wipe the floor with him facts
110% teddy hates aj and canelo, I legitimately don't know why
@@trollmastermike52845Jealousy my brother
No , that would've been good for boxing and there wouldn't of been a 2nd boxing match for Francis.. Joshua represented...
@@theabbaslovers no jealousy. He just doesn't see them through Rose tinted glasses like everyone does
@tjayenterprises5190 Fuck are you talking about? Most people, from what I can tell, have been clowning Joshua for years and it was further increased after his meltdown following the loss to Usyk. He has an agenda period. What that is, I don’t know. I can’t read minds like you can 🤔
I like how Teddy pronounces NGannou at least 3 different ways. He should have known better than to think Francis had any chance against AJ
I think Ngannou could have won but Joshua just had to much power
I wonder why Teddy hates Joshua so much. He never gives AJ credit. That's ok AJ just has to keep kicking ass
Casual
It's one of the reasons I was hesitant to click on this video. Atlas sometimes talks a lot of crap and takes ages doing it 😂
Exactly
@@mmnsurahman5646what you mean
AJ gave ppl reasons to criticize tho.. stop being a Stan.. u missing the big picture.. AJ literally just had his best performance as a pro but it was against a UFC fighter that had only 1 fight.. what does that tell u?? I won money on AJ so don't even try to call me a AJ hater💰😎
Fury ran from Ngannou once he was put on his arse
and joshua ran from fat ruiz all night long after he was beaten up and made to quit in their 1st fight...so there is that
But still won.
@@WB-yw4pb he split his eye open and was not a recent fight , Fury ran from a 0-0 novice the great white Ali could not figure him out ?
Anthony Joshua quit against Ruiz. Fury beat Ngannou 😂
@@WB-yw4pb ,AJ took 47-50 BIG shots from BIG Ruiz..one more and he could have followed the same sad fate of the greatest ever.
There is 1 fact... Every fighter that aj and fury have shared the ring with... every 1 of them...fury has won but struggled and gone the distance to get the win. Aj has knocked out those same fighters or stopped. Maybe that means nothing... but its the 1 fact between them
Boxing is the pinnacle of combat sport, practiced since ancient Greece.
Joshua kept the initiative going. Fury gave Ngannou room to do things his way. Joshua constantly kept him off balance psychologically by pressuring him with difficulties outside his comfort zone. Joshua set the pace, and kept it quick - one challenge after another that Ngannou didn't have the answers for. Fury gave him room. Joshua denied him room.
Joshua will finish Fury, period!! If it was Joshua that had that kind of a performance in the first fight with Ngannou, you guys would be saying something else
If Fury comes in in shape, AJ ain't finishing nothing.
💯
he couldnt finish little usyk, in fact, usyk beat him up over 24 rounds
@@WB-yw4pbAnthony Joshua lacks heart and has a glass chin. He quit against Ruiz coming off 5 weeks notice 😂
When you turn a blind eye to a known cheater: Stop your excuses for Fury, he looked in great shape, just failed to do his usual routine of dipping me hands in gasoline.
Teddy the hypnotist
Because AJ has had 3 fights recently and Fury hadn't fought in over a year made a huge difference. The lack of activity with modern boxers compared to the past is a real issue. Look at parker 4 fights in a year and beats Wilder, now 5 recent fights and beats Zhang.
Teddy talked more about the Ngannou vs Fury fight and whether Joshua can beat Fury than he did Joshua's absolute destruction of Ngannou. He also talked way more about Ngannou's shortcomings against Joshua rather than focus on Joshua's outstanding performance. Hell, Teddy thought it was going to be a close fight and go 10 rounds before the fight. Come on Teddy.
It's worth looking at Teddy's prediction for this fight. Completely wrong! He had joshua to win by decision and a side bet on Ngannou by knockout. I predicted Joshua in the 4th because I could see the glaring difference in experience and skill. When you get you prediction wrong like Teddy, you should admit Joshua was way better than you thought, then you give him the credit he deserves.. With the benefit of hindsight you'd expect a 2 time world champion to make short work our of a rookie but it doesn't deminish a masterclass by Joshua..Its one thing knowing what you need to do, but when your faced with a man mountain like Ngannou its a different ball game..
Fury trained at the 24 hour all you can eat fried chicken buffet. That's what happened.
Ayoooooooo😂
💯💯
Teddy, the only boxing pundit that misses it and comes back and say he said it...
Well said!
The power from Joshua made him more reactive than from fury. So he reacted more to the power and was set up by every punch. Where with Fury he felt he could take the shots and therefore was able to keep a more defensive posture.
Spot on.
Very smart of you
What AJ did was very basic simple feint, even what he did when Francis switched stances is what you get taught very early on, the idea that Francis can compete with anyone in the top 100 is ridiculous, he was the 4th quickest knockout for AJ, one of the easiest professional fights he's ever fought. There are close to 20 Journeymen who performed better against Joshua than Francis did. The WBC ranking him 263rd was being kind.
So if it was so basic, how come Tyson Fury who's the acclaimed world boxing champion couldn't deal with Francis decisively
@@ebibomodi4259 because he was inactive, has an unorthodox style and obviously hadn't taken it seriously
When it comes to breaking down any fight, before, during and after, Teddy is the man!
You know it
Tea n Crumpets Teddy, tea n crumpets baby.
What's to explain, dude stood square on ,no fients
Fury wasn't in shape, just took it as a joke. Anthony gave it his all! Hats off to Anthony 💪🏿
You’re right
Teddy when are you going to start respecting AJ? Just admit he did a fantastic job
Right it’s easy
Fury and Joshua have 5 common opponents. Both kayoed Whyte. Fury went the distance with a Klitschko who took him as a clown and didn't train properly, then ran away from the rematch b'cos he knew he'd get beaten, whereas Joshua got up from a heavy knockdown and kayoed Wlad. Fury also went the distance with both Otto Wallin and Kevin Johnson, and now Ngannou, whereas Joshua kayoed all of them. How much more evidence do the Fury fangurls want?
Joshua has 3 loses, Fury has 0. Usyk schooled AJ because hes slow and mechanical. Just because hes knocked out an MMA guy does not make him the best heavy weight out there. Fury beats AJ but will be close
@@SuperJimmytang and fury won’t even get in the ring with Usyk unless Saudi money is on the table. Oh and he sets unrealistic deadlines to avoid fights oh and 70/30 splits and all kinds of other games. Fraud.
@@SuperJimmytangJoshua is slow and robotic 🙄do you even have eyes???

Aj almost got ko from vald . That wasn't good.
Thanks Teddy. Its fun to watch a good knockout thru your eyes.
A cold right hand?? This guy is a comedian

Joshua and his team figured out how to take advantage of Ngannou's weak points.
I think so too
Agree with everything Teddy said tonight

He setup the knockout by being an actual top level, professional boxer, facing a novice in his second professional fight, with 0 amateur experience. Hearn realised they had an opportunity to con their way into demand they get undisputed winner, because Fury took the novice lightly and Josh seized it
But Joe Rogan guaranteed that Francis would KO any boxer he faced. What happened Joe?
Teddy Atlas my go to man.
I wonder why you guys keep entertaining Teddy. He doesn’t know boxing 🥊
Ayooooooooo😭😂
Teddy just give Joshua his props and cut the BS.....Fury embarrassed the sport, and if you feel he didnt show up mentally, that's on him he is supposed to be a professional💯
This is a man who bigs up wilder whos got one thing a right hand and cant box for toffee but he will pick him over any other heavyweight 😂😂
Very true, I find him extremely contradictory and hypocritical.
Teddy says the element of surprise, but negates the fact that Francis said himself, he is a lot better after his first fight with Fury. Even Dewey Cooper said that. But your focusing on the element of surprise. Fury had all the francis footage from his ufc bouts. Even Ben Davidson said he looked at Ngannous ufc fights. We all know your opinion on Joshua and it will never change.
Next question, how much does Gvozdyk have left, the boxer who's about to fight Benavidez. Teddy please tell us, where is he now versus 4-5 years ago.
If Teddy knew all this why didn't he predict a Joshua knockout
was this match also an exhibition ?
I like relaxed Teddy. 😊
Teddy has completely forgotten boxing: does he also know Ngannou’s performance with fury also brought a lot of emotions onto the his fight with AJ? AJ was great just acknowledge that. Aj knocks fury out cold like what he did to Ngannou.
Teddy 💯
Teddy couldn’t give aj credit if his family’s life depended on it
I can’t see AJ vs Fury happening. Be another Pryor vs Leonard or Stevenson vs Kovalev
The local 17 year old juniors have better technique than Ngannou
Styles make fights yet fury couldn't deal with a novice 😂 if he struggled against ngannou how the fuck does he beat AJ ? Teddy talks some shit man
Could heat him many ways, with a blanket, a fan heater, a number of ways. What random thing to bring up though...
You dont know boxing. Fury beats Joshua, hes too easy to hit
@@SuperJimmytang bro fury is finished Joshua going to smoke him
@@LThomas10 Furys got enough left to beat AJ. We'll bully him no doubt. He'll do the same to Usyk. Josh has a chance but Furys the man
@@SuperJimmytang the man who got embarrassed by novice ngannou 😂 this new Joshua with Ben Davinson can beat fury no problem
If I know Teddy, he’ll be full of praise for a well set up, clean, spectacular knockout punch from AJ, saving boxing’s reputation in the heavyweight division………..right???
Broken down to the letter. Teddy really giving the truth here.
Barely....he's biased against a lot non-Yank fighters. He particularly has a dislike for Joshua and Eddie Hearn.
There is no "transitive property" in boxing. Beating a common opponent better doesn't always translate to being better than the other guy. Boxing has tons of examples where this isn't the case. Both Frazier and Norton beat Ali, Foreman destroyed Fraizer and Norton, but then... Ali beats Foreman. That's boxing.
ngannou closes his eyes when you faint towards his face, when you know that it's easy to ko him.
Ayooooooooo🤣
Only Joshua knows what it's like getting beat to the canvas and giving up.
That ref should have stopped the fight he might have made the count but he wasn't ready for it.
I love the people who said that AJ could win in the first couple of rounds.....but, it might me the eighth round or maybe Ngannou will catch him or it could go to points. Then after the fight claim they got it right having covered all the bases.
Bizarre comments about Teddy hating on AJ. They must have been watch in a different interview. No respect here for AJ at all - nor for Frances for that matter, but he identifies how professional experience triumphed, while Fury did not take Frances seriously enough to bring his all to the fight. True or not - that is not hating on AJ
I like atlas but this outlook on the fight is just not right. Ngannou was ready for fury and threw with him, he was there for the taking but fury never grabbed the opportunity. Aj deserves more credit than this
Great Mexican fighter, "Engañu"
Joshua can 100% beat fury. Sure look how many times wilder knocked him down and he's an awful boxer. Joshua is miles better than him. Fury isn't the fighter people make him out to be.
Joshua will not only beat Fury, he will embarass him. A knockout in 6 rounds.
So it's funny fransis is so good for having such a good fight with fury but now aj destroyed him about like an early muke tyson and nope fransis just ain't that good he keeps saying tape you don't need tape to adapt and beat a novice when you are suposed the best Heavyweight in the world
Aj been carrying heavyweight boxing since 2015 and 9 years later he does it again
Exactly
Aj will KO Fury. Look at what AJ did to Otto Wallin. The same guy that almost destroyed Fury Career. If AJ has his head switched on, I honestly believe that Fury would be KOed
18th May !! You will not talk 💩 again!Usyk will finish fury and Aj will knock fury out!!
AJ for sure need no flowers from this delusional guy....neither Mike... Mike is one of the two transcends the boxing and have a place in people 's heart and mind...all these mortals will be forget in 20 years from now...
Fury couldn’t push him back or lean on him so he had to fight on the outside aj just did the job he was supposed to but it means nothing just a good ko
Ngannou-Fury 2 would be easy money for Fury, and a chance for him to show what he can really do.
People are forgetting that Francis was standing straight in front of him not moving. Why wouldn't AJ knock him out usyk a d fury won't be standing still.
I think Francis should have taken on a few lesser boxers before trying to fight the top two guys. He should have gotten some experience first. I understand about getting paid millions, but he should have fought a couple top twenty guys first.
Only smart unbiased people will see it just like this, on top of there was tape now and that’s exactly what he exposed…
What you mean
@@baconeggcheesepodcast9390 Lol Most don't understand why AJ was able to do it so easy and Fury wasn't and actually think AJ will beat Fury based on just that, AJ exposed what was on the tape that Fury provided and didn't have, on top of other thing's but no need to keep explaining it most are just plain dumb, self confidence and all what Teddy said also.
exactly style makes, fights and Anthony Joshua’s style is similar to Francis. Also they got similar punching power N strength. Francis is the less qualified version, the bad version of AJ, If Francis can beat the shit out of fury, upgraded version of AJ will destroy Fury. end of the story. There is only one way to find out, ask fury to fight Anthony Joshua why don’t they say that why don’t nobody speak about fury, fighting Anthony Joshua to find out and they defending Tyson Fury every time ’. #peace
Whatever bud, you dud everything possible not to simply admit that AJ had improved and might be the current best heavyweight. Getting pretty sick of your strange biases.
Teddy is still mad with joshua for not training with him.....the hatred for AJ even when he's praising him 😂
Styles make fights ,, yeah ,, Fury's style was the losing style , AJs' was the winning style ,,, Ngannou WAS ready for the fight , in his own mind , he is an animal IN THE CAGE , and he KNEW he was going to beat AJ otherwise why would he put himself to that test ??!!! fact is , AJ is an elite level boxer and did what Fury couldn't,,,, not rocket science, no excuses no conspiracy theories, Ngannou just got beat by the better man .
What is he talking about ?? He’s not talking about how nganno didn’t have any skills lol
Look , Ngannou was Cautious in the Fury fight which led to his success . However I think it played a part in him throwing caution to the wind against AJ , which he paid for in the form of a nap .
let me make this clear so what he is saying, is Tyson Fury the heavyweight champ of the world if he is not training if he is not prepared he’ll get knocked out by MMA fighter or you lose a fight in a bar with a strong guy cause fury is not ready. He’s not prepared mentally. And he has not trained for the fight or for the fighter, so you will lose or have a tough time with any fighter with that strong as him. That is what he exactly said because Francis is not a boxer. It was his first boxing match no excuse.
Ken with the Botox Don’t become Hollywood Ken stay natural
Ayooooooooo😭
It's always the same they bet against canelo canelo wins he's a bum but if the guy were to beat canelo that guy is great well if he's great because he beat canelo that makes no sense same for aj they bet Wallin would win nope what do they say Wallin didn't show up teddy is a good talker but he is the most biased spokes person in sports almost as bad as a DC commentary in ufc
Teddy gave Fury as many excuses as he needs. So Ngannou coupd have walked forward in the first fight and there is nothing to suggest, Fury would have been able to put him down. Ngannou took his elbow ffs and didnt even blink. The fact is that Joshua hits ALOT harder than Fury and instead of doing all this mental gymnastics, why dont we just start there which are the cold hard facts?!
Styles make fight well there both big stiff robots fury says so fury struggle bad so how can he beat aj who a real boxer faster just as powerful and good in nar aj ko fury as well
😂😂😂, now the backtracking! All the shit y’all was talking about AJ before the fight, now who has the last laugh.
Right everyone quiet
AJ fanbois at it again in the comments as usual. Fury is still the man to beat. No one else has done it. I don't think AJ can do it, but it would be a great fight to see. Right now, I'd say it's Fury > Usyk > AJ. Parker is also a player.
Fury won't last 3 rounds against Joshua.
lol why
There you have it, again, these couple never never talking anything good about Joshua, gun shy, scared, bla bla bla. there you have you !
This guy is a proper Fury fanboy. Fury is overrated 😂
Wow!!! You praise AJ and then say But. You make excuses for Fury. The world no 1 heavyweight should have done what the real champion, AJ did.
I think Uncle Teddy has lost his touch. Wrong in the lead up to the fight. Meh in the aftermath.
*Stop making excuses for Fury.* *AJ is levels above both men, and he proved it once again starching "the unhurtable" Ngannou.*
Teddy you have a problem m
Ngannou with back footwork beat him and how does Firy beat this Joshua?
I don’t think Fury can
I bet the "novice, amateur" Ngannou beats most pro heavyweight boxers.
This is the Giy who will say Wilder will KO AJ , infact all boxers will KO AJ. A Clown at best...
