these videos are not for entertainment, they are clearly "fair dealing" under UK copyright law and are exempt as they are reporting current affairs, as I am sure you are aware UK courts "bear in mind that considerations of public interest are paramount".
UK courts see the fair dealing defence usually only applies when part of a work has been taken such as small clips as per my youtube videos.
Reporting of current events
Under Section 30(2), fair dealing using any work for the purpose of reporting current events, with sufficient acknowledgement, is a valid exception to copyright. Photographs are excluded, however; Cornish, Llewelyn and Aplin write that this is "in order to preserve the full value of holding a unique visual record of some person or event" Please keep comments respectful.

  • A good deal was taken off the table when the EU refused to negotiate a trade deal until we had actually left. NO DEAL is our strongest position to get a trade deal.

  • Boris and the Conservatives haven't a hope in hell of being voted in until a clean BREXIT is delivered. Boris must do a deal with Nigel to have even the remotest prospect of winning. The 'Boris bounce' is febrile at best.

    • Paul Isherwood I think your wrong, if there was an election next week,boris would win .he would have a good working majority. Corbyn would loose seats,people are so fed up with the lies and the cheating from labour, boris,s popularity has risen extensively since he came in. that's why they don't want a GE,they know they loose.labour don't have a mandate for what they propose The Westminster bubble that keep changing the goalposts don't have a mandate for their tactics either. they are also frightened to go to the polls for thar very reason, good day,Brian.

    • @@brianfield792 Your view is not reflected everywhere I go. Admittedly, Boris currently has his 'bounce', but only if he actually delivers a clean BREXIT. He cannot bring back May's turd with another bit of polish on it. The voters will see it for what it is. The voters no longer believe that they can trust anyone who sits in Westminster and this includes dear Boris. A collaboration with, and scrutinised by, Nigel will blow the remainers and laughable Labour Party out of the water. The LibDims will also be toast.

    • To change it to a subscription to watch the BBC all other channels to be free to watch apart from those that require a subscription eg Sky. Set the date for the change to 2025 to give the BBC time to put revenue protection measures in place. All modern large screen televisions come equipped with a card slot which could be used to hold a subscription card.

      @MeTheRob@MeTheRob4 жыл бұрын
    • Sarah first people need to be informed about the facts. Then do the referendum. Not everyone knows that the BBC license is only needed if you watch BBC, live tv broadcasts or listen to BBC radio. Many still think it’s mandatory.

  • Of course they should ! Labour/Libs/SNP are working together against democracy so the smart thing to do is join forces with Farage. And getting rid of Bercow because his slutty wife has him driving his car around with a bollocks to brexit sticker on his window is another good Tory idea.

  • There is no good deal. The EU do not want us to leave and any deal they are willing to accept is one that means we leave in name only which is not leaving at all. A deal with the EU is a surrender. We're better off just leaving. No deal is the only way!

  • No. As the LibDumbs discovered the junior partner in a coalition suffers at the polls in a subsequent general election. It would be much better for the BREXIT party to come to a general agreement to work with the Tories rather than join them in a coalition. Brexit parties job is to keep the Tories honest as far as BREXIT is concerned. This is a job best done outside a coalition.

  • I like Boris and yes people like him in the north, but they don't trust the conservative party enough to go all in. I just hope Boris can get the job done somehow before an election, but it will be almost impossible with the opposition he is seeing in parliament right now.

  • Any Tory that would join in a coalition with the Brexit party is likely a good Tory. It would be a fabulous idea in my opinion because the tory's that didn't want to be in such a coalition would likely go elsewhere. The Tory's would be well rid of them. The next step is to get large numbers of such a coalition voted into parliament.

  • If Steve Double’s view of a polished turd as a goer is the view of the majority of the Conservative MPs’ the Brexit Party will have to stand in every single constituency in the country. The Remoaner Parties will have no such loser policy. We must play to win so every Brexit voting citizen should vote Brexit Party if this defeatist attitude is to be beaten. If it comes to it, don’t split the vote by voting Tory. That was tried and failed with May. VOTE BREXIT PARTY.

  • I think for short term goals it would be wise for the Brexit Party and Conservatives to have some sort of non compete agreement in real leave constituencies. As much as I would love BXP to storm all of their candidates through to Parliament, there isn't the advantage for them since everyone knows they are a one policy party and what they would do after we leave is open to suggestion. I have pretty much given up hope on the Tories and don't feel like being fooled again.
