Ford CEO Jim Farley is completely out of touch with the people who want buy their trucks.
Quality continues to go down...
Prices keep going up...
And dealer lots are still stocked with overpriced trucks that people can no longer afford to buy.
In Q1 of 2024 Sales of the f150 truck fell a staggering 13 percent compared to the same time last year.
Truck buyers are done overpaying for these unreliable expensive trucks and in today's video I want to show you exactly why that is happening.

Fun fact, assuming Ford didn't raise prices a single penny, and assuming every single union worker at its plants is the highest tier of worker with the highest wage and highest ‰ increase from the old UAW contract, Fords PROFIT last year would have fallen from 6 billion to 5.2 billion..... But, yeah, it's definitely the workers and not the multi billion dollar profit company jacking up prices to appease shareholders that's the problem

Govt.) had our last chance at fiscal sanity around 1996/97/98 - the last time the (annual) Federal Budget was balanced via Clinton/(R)Senate/(R)House. We at least slowed the bleeding a little. Then came 9/11, when we/they lost their minds firehosing money at another undeclared "war". No effort to reduce spending has been made since IIRC. I guess we all get what we elect.

    • @@APNFORD It's low-hanging fruit to blame all of this on the UAW. It's far worse than that. Serious corporate mismanagement and/or even corruption in some instances. UAW is only a very small part of it. Start with CEO salaries/compensation packages and work your way down. In 2023, Jim Farley pulled $26.5 million in compensation, which was a 26% YoY increase from 2022. And that's just one guy.

    • This is true with other 'tool' type equipment. Like tractors/combines shutting down with a sensor fault at harvest time with the rains coming.. .or maritime boats hitting bridges. When electronics in cars and equipment first came out, they often went into 'limp' mode if something was wrong with the tech. Now many modern engines can shut off over nothing major in a critical situation. I guess- as is already happening with farm equipment, etc- unfortunately law suits will convert that money gained from redesigns, bells, and whistles added by the manufacturers, and then they will blame it on the regulators.
