    • This is precisely why I came here. She actually is probably a very capable and intelligent person but why is someone on her team not telling her SHE IS NOT TALENTED AT SONG WRITING OR SINGING. This is not an insult to a human being. I played piano for 15 years but I have enough self awareness to understand I am not talented enough to be a professional pianist and that is ok. How does Jojo not hear and watch herself, as she is comparing herself to Gaga, Miley and Britney and say - hmmm - I am really not in their league. It is mind boggling.

    • I honestly don't think she failed at all. I'm a 33 year old man who never heard of JoJo Siwa until Sunday when I was Djing at a Sorority party and they asked for Karma. I though the song was cool, then I just checked out the music video and thought it was cool too. Then I read the comments and saw all the hate. After that I had to google JoJo and saw she was a Nick kid. Automatically I knew it was what I thought it was, fans of her that could only view her as a child actress and what they were familiar with seeing her on Nick and can not accept that she is exploring her own personal creative side to find her own sound and forge her own identity. THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED 10 YEARS AGO WHEN MILEY CYRUS DROPPED THIS SONG, NOW THIS SONG IS A 2010S PERIOD PIECE CLASSIC!!! People HATED this song when it came out and the media dragged Miley thorough the mud because everyone was used to her Good Girl Hannah Montana persona but knew nothing of the real Miley.

    • i'm a thumb she still had her Hannah Montana image. She wasn’t in the spot light for a while bc her focus was on her personal al life with Liam and out of no where she came back with a new look, almost a completely different personality. She didn’t grow up, she changed. There’s a difference. There’s nothing wrong with what’s she’s doing. After that I had to google JoJo and saw she was a Nick kid. Automatically I knew it was what I thought it was, fans of her that could only view her as a child actress and what they were familiar with seeing her on Nick and can not accept that she is exploring her own personal creative side to find her own sound and forge her own identity. Years before the release of this video, Miley kind of had a decent image even with the release of her album Can't Be Tamed which depicted a more grown-up image but still maintained some decency.   • Wow. The genius behind Miley Cyrus, just, astounds me. She is very creative and uses her pain to make such powerful music with lyrics and melodies that are so unique to her talents and crafts. I honestly didn't realize this until I heard the song "Slide Away." I went back and watched all her music videos from when she parted ways with her father and Disney and began to realize all of this. I've come to respect and appreciate her as more of a true artist now because of this.
