"I'm broke and don't have a lot of time" summarizes me hahaha
Same
+Autumn Jade Russo same XDD
+Autumn Jade Russo You should try your local library. Its a life saver when it comes to book-money ratio. :) I love the library!
+Autumn Jade Russo I had the exact same reaction when I heard that XD. One book a week is my maximum....

+Bente van de Pol ??
pinkhairedariel it was a pun
Who would guess Outlander would be in this video????? Seriously such a shocker 😂 (Btw your hair is so gorgeous in this video)
SHOCKING!!!!
+abookutopia Are the rest of the books in the series as good as Outlander???
Omg Kirsten I love your videos
+rayhan jalil aw thank you
Maliha Intikhab i know this reply comes way late. But IMO the rest of the books are equally good to a point. There are some recurring themes that made the story feel repetitive and left me feeling 'meh'. I prefer the Lord John spinoff. I don't want to do spoilers so I'll leave it at that.
All the links to the books are in the description box! :)
Can you please do a video on time management like how do you balance college life and finding time to read ?
can u please help me out with my book club? we don't have a lot of members and I want student readers to get involved. Can u give me some ways to convince people to join other than making posters and flyers?
I hope you don't mind my saying (you asked!) but no, "you and I" wasn't the right grammar. It should be "you and me", because in the sentence you said, it's the object rather than the subject. (Sorry! I thought you might like to know).
Oh god, I feel so horrible and pedantic now! Sorry! I'm a nice person, I swear.
how did you get The Glass Sword early!?
well there goes my money...
1. The Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas 2. Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick 3. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer 4. The Kiss of Deception by Mary E Pearson 5. Four by Veronica Roth 6. An Ember in The Ashes by Sabaa Tahir 7. Snow like Ashes by Sarah Raasch 8. Splintered by AG Howard 9. The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien 10. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Okay- Where did she get that copy of 'Glass Sword' lying in the background? I thought it's about to be released on February 9 2016?! 😱
+Silmaril Osborn she gets sent a lot of ARCs, Passenger, for example, isn't out until January (I think)
I can't take my eyes off of it, glad my birthday is in January!
It's being released in February, but she has an advanced readers copy :)
I love that you always link the books in the description, few youtubers do it and it's very very helpful, keep doing it thank you!!!
Thank you! I needed books to read over the Winter!
I just stared at "Glass Sword" the whole video to see if I could bring it home through the screen.
oh my gosh!! I freaking loved Poison Study I'm so happy to find someone else who has also read it!

Love this video! Your hair looks awesome, by the way. Really exited for part 2!!!
Love the books! Also love your hair and sweater and lipstick and you're looking gorgeous in this vid! (Not that you're not always gorgeous. But all the red tones around you is super pretty!)
Before City of Bones, Cassandra Claire (under the name Lori Summers) wrote the BEST Harry Potter fanfic! She wrote before all the books came out and I loved it. I believe it was called the Paradigm of Uncertainty. Once you finish the Harry Potter series, you might enjoy checking this out. I believe it would be especially interesting to you because you can compare the earlier work of this writer to what she does in the series you like so much.
I have never clicked on a notification so fast 😂
Ahh yay!!!! Thanks for clicking :)
Hah Me either
OMG YOUR HAIR LOOKS AMAZING!!!
Your enthusiasm and passion for these books is reason enough to watch this video, nevermind the great recs! I read Red Queen earlier this year and just loved it - 5 stars from someone who doesn't always get on with dystopian novels. I can't wait to see how the story progresses in the second instalment. Added a few books to my wishlist after this video, but I'll be keeping a keen eye out for Passenger next year.

Hello Sasha. I have been watching your videos for a while now and i sort of have an idea of the types of books you enjoy reading and your favourite books that you keep mentioning in most of your videos. But i have noticed that many of the books mentioned in this video are books you have just recently read. Just my own thought: do you think you would call them your favourite books of all time after a year from now? Don't you think that your recent enthusiasm after reading them makes you believe they are your favourite books of ALL time? I'm only asking because it does happen to me sometimes when i read a book and get all excited but after a while, i read it again and think 'nope, not as good as first time'.
Wow girl. You're makeup is on point and your videos are so fun!!
Aaaah, so happy to see Poison Study on the list! I've only met (or seen) three other people who have read it (including my librarian)!!
OMG SASHA! Where did you buy that little David Tennant???!!!! I need it in my life! ❤❤❤
Hot Topic
It's at EA Games if you have one of those near you

Wait is that Glass Sword in the back????? I thought its coming out next year??
She has a advanced copy
It's an ARC (advanced readers copy) many people who do blogs/videos on books get them so they can review them
YOUR HAIR IS SO GORGEOUS
Amazing video, Sasha! :) Thanks for all your recommendations! My tbr list just keeps growing! 😂
To kill a mocking bird, outsiders, Anna Karinina, lord of the rings, lord of the flies, the catcher in the rye??????
I am going to grade 8 and I m wondering if it would be okay for me to read the throne of glass series It would be great if anyone answers
This is soo late, but my friend who's that age said it's fine until bk 5 for romance (if violence throughout doesn't bother you)
I don't know why age would stop you from reading whatever you feel like reading
it's awesome seeing your dormroom bookshelf fill up as your time at college progresses! i remember how only one shelf was filled when you first started haha - love your videos sasha!

How come Sasha was able to get an advanced copy of Glass Sword?
She has many subscribers
Ikr 😩😩 like what is life!!!
She got it when she went to the publisher
Jelke Lenaerts Really? She's lucky. I would love to have a copy now.
Book bloggers and youtubers get Advanced Readers Copies because the authors need reviews to critique their work so they can improve it somehow.
Im 16 and im gonna read outlander now i feel like a rebel
Really awesome! I've mostly started reading because of you and I'm so pumped that you'll be in the Netherlands in 2017!! I live in the Netherlands too and I hope I'll finally be able to meet you! Oh and the books you showed were amaz! I've not read all of them but omg obsidian 😱😍
Sasha is rocking them side bangs thooo 😍🙌🏼

+Ashley Garcia same XD
Ashley Garcia I watched the outlander series but I bet the book is good.
Is it weird for a guy to read YA fantasy instead of adult fantasy?
Lol not at all
+R Khan I'll just read both genres.
+sEEKllsevN no;)
Not weird at all! Totally normal!
+abookutopia can you recommend the absolute best YA fantasy for me? ty
So, I just started Glass Sword this morning, and I'm super excited to see it sitting on the shelf behind you. lol I think I can see where this is going.
Pleeasse read Percy Jackson!!!!!!!
You read so many books but.. None of your favorites are classics? I mean all these books are nice and all but I wouldn't categorize them as favorites, they are usually just for fun and dont really stay with you. But maybe this is just me, I want a book to speak to my soul.
Not everyone likes classics. Everyone have their own preference in what they might fall in love with.
+upasana kothari i agree, but... i expected at least ONE classic. They are classics for a reason
Its again preference. I personally don't like any of the classics i have read till now and i have read quite alot of them. I didn't connect with them at all. The characters mostly annoy me. Its just my personal opinion though.
Now it's kind of fashionable to read. Reading classics- means understanding the real literature, feeling the depth of the word. Let them read modern garbage. Not all of the books I see on these review channels are trash, but fairly the most part. Sadly, fewer and fewer number of people can read and understand classics, without finding it boring nowadays :( I'd rather say: people can read, but they can't READ, nobody told them how to do it properly
You are exactly the type of people that discourage people from getting into reading. Everyone has a right to choose what they like. Classics do it for you but not for others. Isn't reading enjoying and finding yourself in it. I didn't know you needed to have a way of reading to understand classics or to understand any book. Everyone has their perception, please respect that.
Man, that's a lot of books! I too find it hard to pick a favorite! They are all my favorite, haha! Great job with this channel, I hope I can build a channel as well as you have! I am especially interested in Outlander. Thanks for the recommendation!
Love this, can't wait for part 2! Xx
I think you might need to widen your reading range a bit. If you think Throne of Glass was an amazing read, you should read beyond all those YA series. Throne of Glass was so basic, I didn't see much depth from any of the characters and the plot felt very formulaic. I respect that your taste is generally for YA romance and fantasy, but...just spice things up a bit? All these stories are so similar to each other, just different worlds. Sigh. Not what I expected from a book KZhead channel. I only say this because I used to read a lot of YA in high school, and the stories became so predictable, almost as if the authors know what works and sells so they exhaust that formula to its CORE. I'm now basically disgusted at most YA. Then I started to read more non-YA (like Scott Card, Herbert, Salvatore, some classics...generally books that had almost zero romance). While I still read some YA, I do so only when I want extremely light reading, when I don't want to think or feel so much the way Dune or Speaker for the Dead made me both appreciate and question humanity. I felt like I was missing out and boxing myself in predictable romance fluffs, and FREED myself from that padded room. Broaden your horizons! Outlander seems interesting tho :)
Jo Stewart I get your point. But just for the record, I'm not belittling her taste. Everybody likes different things and there's nothing wrong with that. Just thought it might be a good idea to read a few things from other genres. If she doesn't like any of them, then that's okay too. My point is to just try new things. Nothing wrong with that.
Jo Stewart And alright, if you say the writing gets better in TOG, then I'll give it a shot :)
Jo Stewart Not at all! Just wanted to clear it up haha. Same here! Granted, I haven't read ALL the classics out there, but I certainly make sure to try a few from every genre. And since writing that comment a while back, I've tried reading some YA, like Queen of the Tearling and A Darker Shade of Magic (is it YA?) and both their sequels, and I've LOVED them all so far. I guess I kinda ate my words, huh? Haha. Yes! I love how there's always something for everybody, and there's ALWAYS something new to try. I read the first book a few years ago, and I liked the world well enough. I might start that series again once I finish a few from my immediate reads list (which, let's be honest, gets longer with every booktube video I watch haha)
Jo Stewart Then it's an amazing YA series, it is haha. Yeah, but it's kind of a pet peeve for me when people aren't consistent with their convictions and all. But of course, we always have to make room for change in ourselves and other people :) Aw it's the same for me too! I'm still a student and we're not exactly a wealthy family. Most of the secondhand bookstores here don't sell the books I like so it's a bit difficult. Oh wow, third time. Definitely on my to be read, then. I've seen that too! It has a lot of amazing reviews, how could it not be on my November TBR? Just finished A Gathering of Shadows, and I'm still choosing among Seveneves, Ready Player One, Vicious (I can't stop the Schwab!), and Six of Crows. Hurgck, any advice?
Wow Sasha you look gorgeous. all those red tones suit you so well! by the way, I decided to, one day, read all of the books you mentioned since i really only got into books 2 years ago and need to make up for alot :)
I still remember watching you when you read and loved City of Bones, and I still can't get used to the fact that your favorite book now is Outlander :D Love the list and can't wait for 2016 so I can finally purchase Passenger and Glass Sword! (I also need to wait for the translation - meh). Fantastic video, I enjoyed it very much - like all of your vids :) Much love
Can't wait for part 2! My favorite books include: the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead, the Harry Potter series of course, The fault in our stars, the If I stay series, The Host, The mortal instruments series, The infernal devices series ... I kind of have a thing for series.
I love your videos 😍😍 and I love red queen and an amber in the ashes too ! they are amazing ! I'm currently reading Harry Potter bc of you :) I'm halfway through the second book right now and I love it already !!
I can't wait for Glass Sword to come out! Also, you look fab with all the red you've got going on! :)
Your voice is adorable I love to watch these just to hear you talk.
Your hair looks so glamorous!
Flashback listening to you talk about the Sarah J Maas books , oh Tamlin.. love the description for ToG don't even need to suggest we read the entire series because its a given that the world will captivate any and everyone (I cried so hard at the end of EoS and will 10000% cry when the final book arrives in October)
I agree with passenger. Really can't wait for book 2!!
OMG! I'm so happy you loved Passenger! I love Alex and I can't wait to read it!
OMG your hair looks great!!
This video was so helpful, THANK YOU!
