Love the idea of getting your case as a kit that you build. Great hobbyist option for people who would be into it
I love it too, plus it puts you in the mindset of using this as a platform for customization. Like, making your own PSU shroud, etc.
My only concern with that approach is vibration and things getting out of place as time goes on, I suppose with enough soft rubber cushioning it easy to avoid but still. But I agree, it sounds awesome.
I agree
Then you'd love singularity!
It's the ikea special
I hope you're feeling better soon, Jay. And praying we hear some good news on your health as well soon. Glad to see you still making these videos with everything happening❤
The background music playing around 3:30 that you have in a lot of your videos is forever burned into my brain. I hear that background song randomly throughout my day
Love the NOT 4090 in that EVGA box
Hi Jay. I love the way that all case makers have one thing in common, re-inventing the wheel. After all, a PC case is just a box that you throw your hard earned money into. My biggest con with cases is how difficult they are to work on once you place them on your desk. They require you to pickup and turn the case to whatever position that will allow you to work on the PC. On my last build I placed it on a large Lazy Susan. This allows me to rotate the case and have easy access to all sides.
it's been a while since I have loved a case, but this one I enjoy very much. Good looking, stylish (Industrial feel) and color scheme. I may be purchasing one in the future, Thanks Jay!
Incredible I'm loving this!!!
Could this theoretically be assembled with the i/o mounted vertically? I always wonder that with these new flat-packed designs, that layout has some appeal to me.
Buy one and let us know.
The peak look is to buy both colors, and use the gold accents on the silver case. Hella worth
I'll forever love my InWinn A1 Plus! Such a great little mITX case, so underrated. Reviewers look at the no top/front air and immediately toss it aside. It has space for 2x 120mm in the bottom and when you populate them that's where the case shines, blows air directly into the GPU. Slap a 120mm AIO and you're immediately forcing airflow. I'm currently rocking a 5800x and a 3080, able to suck 350w combined and keep CPU under 85c
I have the 805 infinity, it just looks so good on my desk. This one might be next up
13:00 - Man, forgot how many subs you had. So glad your channel has grown so damn much. And good luck with the surgery.
I just noticed Jay is very close to 4 Million subs! Well done!
Definitely not a cheap case ($230 flatpacked/$250 assembled) - but damn this is why I love InWin's cases, they lean to using quality materials.
its definitely nice looking. i wish they had the option to not include fans, though. would nock off some cost.
@@BrokenPineapple Probably only like 20-30 bucks at most. The fans aren't a big part of the cost from the manuf.
Another 100 bones isn't the biggest problem when your build is 2k anyway
$230 is cheep, that's nothing from inwin.
InWin was one if not the first case I ever purchased back in the 90s.
Nearly 4m subs? Go Jay!
The iTX version of it is gonna be dope. I’m a big fan of the G5 era look, excited for a build in it!
DAMN YOU JAY. 11:13 had me spit my drink out laughing.
I will be so happy to see you hit 4 million subscribers.
Looks pretty good, too many screws though
i have eatx in this case, it goes right up to the first cable management hole
In-Win always build cool stuff!
you are the best jay thank you for every video you share
the screws on the glass panel were loose probably so you could undo them with your fingers to get to the included allen key inside the case..?
Nice case. I am interested to get one but I wish they make the front vents denser with smaller round holes. I think these pill shaped holes are conflicting with the other elements.
This holes will be in dust 😂
Love the videos Jay💯 Always looking forward to seeing a new video.
oooops they did it again..... they played with your heart and got lost in the case
Oh baby, baby...
Oops, you think I'm in case That they’ve sent from above I'm not that innocent
The emptiness, was killing me.
Oooo gamer gamer.
I must profess, my Dubili !
Nice looking design, wonder if they have a separate plate if you want to mount the GFX card verticaly
2008 called...they want their case back.
I do like the industrial look. I have always liked that. Jay Rules. :)
@9:12 a graphic with the actual number would be great here :)
You could do an air cooled E-ATX 'server' in it. I feel like that would be one of the intended use cases (hehe) for it.
4 million subs any second now 😮
0:13 OOH... Jay Likes the "D FRAME"
Always loved Inwin cases. I have 3 now. I'm using the Inwin 905 at my office. I get a lot of compiments and questions about it. Stands out in a building full of cheap looking boxes and I macs.
hi jay great content as usual
Thanks for the efforts.
That would be fun building my own computer case. I would call that a brushed satin finish on that brass/gold case.
lol I like the "Not 4090" box in the back ground.
does it rack mount?
If any fan gets swapped it should just be the back one. You can't see the front panel fans from a normal viewing angle so any fan would work there and since you paid for them you may as well use them. A simple rule of thumb to always remember: "If you cannot see it, then it doesn't matter what it looks like.". So front fans not matching? You cannot see them. Cable management behind the motherboard? Does the case have a solid panel? Yes? Manage for function rather than looks. Use twist ties, the black ones that come with all PC cables are perfect, never throw them away. Front panel cables all bundled together first. Next bundle fan groups together, front separate from top, top separate from back, back separate from front. RGB and fan bundled together. SSD/HDD cables separate from everything else. 24 pin, CPU, and GPU are already bundled together. Fans ontop of front panel bundle, everything else shouldn't be mixed with that stack since they are going to different places. This way if a fan dies you only have the group of fans cables to mess with and since it is twist ties it is easy to undo the bundle and redo it after. Tied down to the case? Why? You cannot see it.
Really close to 4M!
Awesome looking case. Bet this thing has no issues fitting any of the current GPUs on the market. I would like to see a metal side panel option to replace the glass one.
Cool idea
Yeah should definitely be an option. In an office space or for people who like that clean low key having full panels would look great. I didn't see how the metal panel was machined - might even be easily used either side.
Since the case is about 99% modular... can you maybe look at its ability to have the motherboard tray mounted inverted so that the case can be on my left side with the window facing me? The panels look like it supports the inverted layout, but the motherboard tray and top/bottom panels seem like they don't have the mounting options for it. Maybe it's something you can look at when assembling the flat-packed case.
I used InWin a lot through the 90s and aughts. They were the first case I remember that had removable motherboard trays that would slide out the back of the case.
Definitely a unique case, not something I would personally build in. But I know someone out there will love it. RGB fans are a huge pain for cable management, I hope more companies go the way of Lian Li and give us fans that just click together then you only use one cable to for power/rgb control. I'm also wondering how heavy this case is, cause it look heavier than other cases lol. Your videos are always great and thank you for making content for us to watch, greatly appreciate it. And early congrats on the 4 million subscribers
the li-an li uni-fans would look nice in this case imo
As always, very informative. Hoping you and yours are doing well. Take care of yourself, dude.
I want a black case with interchangeable colors.
In-Win went IKEA on us...LOL
Champagne gold is the color of my late grandmothers station wagon as a kid......
i think this is THE case for me. completely my aesthetic.
I bought a Dell Inspiron 5675 several years ago. I love it. It was advertised as a game PC. I don't use it for gaming, but I use CorelDraw software. Because of it, I needed something with more power than my old PC. Today I would like to buy something better. In the search for it I found your channel. I was wondering if you have a video where it can guide me to build one my self with the same specs or a better option than the Dell Inspiron 5675. I have never build up a PC. My knowledge is just to install memory upgrade and changed Power Supply. If not, do you have any recommendations for me on purchasing one already built? Thank you.
Those loose brackets inside could have broike the TG panel right? I would adress that ASAP
I'll share you my build in this case to roast when lian li finally ships the TL controller. Over the top is an understatement
NO PSU shroud ?? isnt int against ISO certifications now. Its been ages i have seen such case :D :D
Where are the links Jay ?
Ive had my eyes on this case. Thank you for reviewing it.
Were close to 4M subs!
I bet that case who those metal fans would look nice.
1:04 Build,motherboard,assemble,PC,aluminium....and a word that i can't say on yt :)
jupiterman, red, hair, computer
Since I can’t get a 925 now, I want to do a build with this case. Looks like it’s taking some cues from the Apple design aesthetic.
Cheese grater case FTW!
I got this case. I called and explained I wanted to modify it, that the warranty would only allow it if they approved, and then they approved the modification by email. Then 3 weeks or so later they said my modification violated the warranty. Glad I didn't do it.
Jay the Amazon links in description don't work!
Anyone know of a gold gpu that sould look good in that gold case. I really want to do a black and gold build now.
Beautiful case. Love the minimalist style. I'd buy it if it wasn't for Fractal Torrent
Could you imagine having cut outs for something like the Corsair RM850x Shift....AND something like a BTF, or Project Zero motherboard? This case would be super clean, and look about as "wireless" as possible. That would be awesome. I hope this somehow becomes a thing eventually. Cable routing would be extremely easy, and make the component side look super clean.
i like the evga box behind, which says NOT 4090... 😆😆
I just ordered an Antec P7 Neo Silent Case - $75 vs $250... you be the judge
Man, that seems to be so expensive.. unfortunately im so broke right now otherwise i would get one of those for me, really like it..
I wish I could justify the expense - so nice !
Will InWin make a mid-tower size of this case? I absolutely love this design but don't want the size increase from a mid-tower.
Can you do a good beginner PC I’m trying to get into pc and idk what I’m looking at
Cool !
If not that stupid glass it would be perfect.
I’m currently running the INWIN 101, love this case and hardly see anybody using it!
the 101 reminds me a lot of the 301 I had as my first pc case. I currently have the INWIN 925 and absolutely love it as well
Price is a little high but the Apple Power Mac influenced design is so appealing at the same time that I would totally get one
I agree! Looks awesome!
doesnt seem to work with SHIFT psus
JUPITERMAN aight i got 13 words, plus jupiterman.
The gold one looks like a collaboration with IKEA.
The all metal fans would look great in there, though pretty sure most would go for the standard lian-li ones.
Remembering when InWin made cheap, but "ok" steel/plastic (typical) off white cases.
My guy like jay busting out cases and here I am wanting a GPU ALL I WANT IS A RTX 4080 SUPER BABY.
Were the link in description
i'd love a jay built gold cased pc, but i never win anything in competitions so i gave up entering lol
with aRGB (the 3-pin 5V headers) it's usually 120 LEDs (I have a pair of LED ribbons at 60 LEDs each on a splitter and that's maxed the capabilities of that header).
Link in description doesn't work
I'm not sure what it is, somehow this case looks both premium and cheap at the same time. Like the outside looks like you got an Apple, but the inside looks like you got a Dell, dude. It's the mullet of case design.
The outside is unpainted thick aluminum. The inside is thin aluminum. Problem with making all of it thick aluminum is the weight. If they didn't paint the thin aluminum parts it would look uniform inside and out. That's what I do with my own scratch builds. I have 3.5mm thick aluminum laser cut and don't bother painting it because the bare metal looks great. I'm also a fan of mixing in some birch wood parts with the metal aluminum. It looks classy.
@@whasian1487it's actually mostly sheet steel. The only aluminium is the hoops. I just bought one last month. I wish it was all aluminium, it'd weigh a lot less!
@@mechanised7121 yuck, I wonder why they used sheet steel. Brushed aluminum looks exactly the same as I see in the video.
so stefan from the verge was right... you DO need an allen wrench.
Where's the best place to get a pc built?
Go figure. Another video by one of my favorite KZhead channels that it took weeks for KZhead to recommend.
9:00 I hate RGB lol. This is a dumb problem I'll never have to think about in my future builds
Pretty jazzy.
Day
Blur and silver is what i got
I'm 100% not the only one that did the word search
Jay rolls box with case in it around on the table... claims that UPS shipping knocked the accessories loose...
i hate cases with usb ports etc on the top just to collect dust etc
Looks like no compatibility with the corsair sideways cable out psu... Strange.. That would have made cable management a breeze
Little cameo by the EVGA NOT 4090 back there ;)
