What a small world, I bought the 75% keyboard and the Punkston keyboard like a week ago to test them. I got each keyboard for 20$ and at that price super worth it. I like the punkston keyboard a lot because it's already pre lubed and the stabs aren't bad at all. It also comes with a switch tester inside of the box so you can know what the blue, black, red, and blue switches sound like! Optical Blacks feel GREAT!

Sadly in UK fantek link goes to a red dragon keyboard and the punkston in £50 so not quite such a good deal. Great video guys nice to see a few more better quality budget keyboards

Bought the fantech maxfit for my first build because of you guys and its great
I'm here cause I saw the punkston keyboard and damn gotta say I love this keyboard I personally own this one got it for $20 cause it was slightly used but nothing to worry about, this keyboard might be the top budget 60% there are only two things I was concerned about 1st the optical switches, sadly this keyboard is only hotswap with optical switches and 2nd the software by the time that I got it the punkston website was constantly down for some reason but I managed to download the software and I got say it's probably one of the best software on a budget keyboard, so simple and easy to use in addition of rgb per switche is fantastic! I highly recommend this one on top of RK61, GK61 or a GK64x all of the functions and media keys are positioned on a different key, that way you don't have to hit fn plus any key let's say for example on the RK61 you had to press fn plus cntrl I think and then hit the media key in order to play, skip or turn volume up for example but yeah long review on this comment I know lol but like I said highly recommended! If you're planning to get this one go for the brown switches because if you're able to lube the switches and stabs you will not regret it!

Bought Fantech for my first MK, it really suit u if u want to try MK, it have foam inside, prelube in the stabilizer, software, and cheap. After 3 months, I order custom case, month later I change the switches and keycaps, and so on. Because this flexibility for beginner like me, I dont think I would buy another keyboard.
Fantech board is actually pretty great for being so cheap. Could toss Boba U4T switches, or anything from the Akko CS line into the Outemu sockets and would be pretty great.

You can upgrade the switches on the Punkston with Gateron optical switches. I definitely recommend Gateron Yellow, Silver or Brown optical switches.

Me toooooo!! I was like I need an upgrade that’s cheap and good because I have horrible sticky key Logitech keyboards that just aren’t as fast and responsive as the G502 Hero I have. I mean, the least delay the better. Btw I recommend the G502 Hero if you like premium quality customization for weights.

I got a $30 mechanical keyboard with blue switches. The keys feel really nice but the aluminum frame makes a big clang anytime you hit the spacebar.
