We met with ODP Program and their dog Big Tex over in Central London to get a public reaction video and we got a whole bunch of different reactions including positive and negative comments. The Police even allowed us to talk to them about the American Bully breed, what would you do if you saw this breed in public?

I would deffo not just be saying to people who might not have any dog knowledge “I would deffo get one they are great pets” because a big dog + a beginner dog owner = disaster
My pitbull is my first pet ever. Easiest dog ever, great with everyone and has the best temper. But I did my research and trained him since day one. He's 6 yo now
as long as you know what you’re doing and know how to train the dog it doesn’t matter
Wow he’s completely out of breathe just walking around town, 60kg seems to be well over healthy ideal weight for this dog such a shame too many people are worried about having the biggest heaviest dog rather than having the healthiest dog

To many gains and far to much Cardio Feels relatable haha.
It’s not the biggest heaviest… it’s most intimidating but a lot more dogs bigger than the bully in weight and they a lot more athletic. They more of a show dog tbh with you; the colours, intimidation factor, very friendly, very dosile (dopey and don’t move much) also great with kids so amazing dog to take in streets. Say you have a more active dog like a presa canario then it’s more likely to be unpredictable, I love presa’s but can’t say I ain’t nervous when walking one, cuz if it sees something and wants it it’ll take some stopping. Whereas bully just chill
I got a cane corso, Better dog imo. As they are taller and more athletic and intelligent

What a unit big tex is, our standard is also super friendly and people love her. So glad after our last dog passed we went with an American Bully.

Big tex is gentle, friendly and well behaved 😊 Many people should learn from him
Escalators can catch the nails and the fur between the paw pads. I always lift the dog when i reach the bottom or the top.
What beautiful boy. We’d love to have one of these again. My husband owned 4 Pitties in the past. When we move to Wales 🏴, we need one or two of these gorgeous dogs. Perfect family dog and very protective.

well done lads i love big tex hes amazing iv got an american bulldog , british bulldog and an xl bully , there amazing i wouldnt have any other dog ,, people cross the road and look at us as if we shouldnt be out ,, then there little szihtu goes all aggressive and mine dont do anythink people need to be educated before judging ,, your doing amazing big up to you 2

Dogs and cats have a lot of sensor receptors in their paws 🐾. And the motion of the escalator throws it off b/c it’s not like the ground. It’s like going ice skating ⛸ for a human.

My Pitbull lived nearly 14 years, was slightly bigger than this beautiful dog. Gentle giant. All kids loved him, RIP Amra the Lion.

@beaulieuc8910 because that's breed that I've been raised around since I was 3 years old fast-forward 30 years I've raised my sons around them cotton hill and stomper have chased off intruders protecting my sons they're my 4 legged guardian angels I trust them with my boys

True bruv.. I had a Staffy called Duke short legged big headed Champion breed, I had to go inside & my son's mom gave him to bdh Battersea Dogg's Home.. when my mate who had 2Staffs said he'd look after him whilst I was inside miss my best boy 1991

My gosh what a great dog! He is a stunning example of his breed, perfect size, perfect weight, build and temperament. I actually see a lot of older people in my city, some of them in their 60s and 70s with bully breeds, and all of them say their temperament is the main reason for having one. My dog is a 10 year old Mastiff mix, and I will always have a dog by my side x

Beautiful dog but the police should be questioning hwere the dog had its ears cropped. Ear cropping and tail docking is illegal in the UK.

Absolutely love that your spreading some awareness of this amazing breed. The gentle nature they have with children even as pups is something I’ve never seen in any other breed of dog. Keep up the good work.
lol.It all depends on the owner. If another dog is attacked by an average dog, it will survive. It it attacked by an american bully, it will get killed. Of course, people american bully's have a bad rap, and rightly so. That doesn't mean they are all vicious, but many are. End of.
100% agree that it depends on the owner; with any dog. My point was it’s not bred into the breed, the American Bully breed is not instinctively a vicious dog, quite the opposite

He's a lovely dog but the drool puts me off. If his slobber got on me, it would trigger my involuntary gag reflex. I can't do bodily fluids on me. That would be the thing that stops me from petting or encouraging affection from him. Definitely not for me lol

I would lean him up, good structure but carrying too much weight. Your choice how you run your dog, but a good raw diet and work is how I like my dog. Stunning example other than that.

Where I live, there's one, and on the end of its lead is a 4ft 10 inch junkie woman. The dog drags her up and down. She just can't handle it. An accident waiting to happen

Hopefully the negative publicity around this breed goes away with more people taking to the streets with their Bullies and showing everyone exaclty what this breed was made for rather than the small few incidents which let's face it could of been any breed in the wrong hands
