That might be selfish but I hope they will drop support for the game soon if that can allow them to create the next Battlefield. I'm just hoping them understood that we don't want a Fortnite game with politically correct heroes & skins but a regular BF like BF3, BF4 or BF1. Players seems to be happy with BFV and BF2042 because they "fixed" the games. But honestly these games came from being 8/20 to 13/20. I'm praying that the next game will be an old fashion Battlefield with the good old class system. And a playable game from day one. Otherwise I'll be definitely done with that franchise. They messed up 2 times in a row.

(Based on PC) 1) No. Post-match you go see xp progress which you can skip, then battlepass progress skip, then loading screen to next match which shows name of next map on bottom right 2) Yes you can filter servers multiple ways (such as map, era, and mode) in the server browser (I don't think there's a map vote feature. Even then only Bf1 had it. 3,4,V as far as I know didn't have it either officially at least) 3) You can change squads in a match except when spawned in the map. So basically die then click escape and go to where you can see list of players in the match. the option to switch squads should show up now (agreed it isn't the most visible or intuitive ui interaction but at least it's there)

Maybe a character customizer that let's you create a specialist of your own. So, let's say I want to bring my future-self in the game & wanted to see what happens if I can become a specialist. And since using Sundance's wingsuit is satisfying (in my opinion), I can probably bring their specialist's trait to my in-game character & assign it as an assault class, but can also choose whichever specialist gadget I can bring as long as it's available for a certain class that the past seasons specialist have, but they can still add more specialist traits & gadgets in future seasons. Just an idea I have.

Once they finally remake Hour Glass the game will finally be where it should have been. The game already feels slightly better but it’s still not great. The specialist skins remove a lot of immersion and epicness from the game. Hopefully they top it all off with adding a mode where everyone just plays as the A.I. soldier skins.

Looks like the best battle pass so far. The skins for the characters looks pretty good compared to the previous ones. But the new character is probably going to break how air vehicles work. There is definitely going to be a wildcat camper at the back of the map, abusing her ability while looking at the sky for the whole game. Aircrafts aren't too OP imo, especially considering how fast wildcat missles recharge and the distance they can lock on. A camper wildcat can literally ruin the air battles for the whole game.

Now if we could just find a way to incentivizes players to drop ammo, revive and work as a team (capture breakthrough flags) that would be great. Since classes were introduced players seem reluctant and skittish. They seem overwhelming preoccupied with keeping that precious KD ratio.

i really like how militarylike everything (primarily the skins) looks, not all goofy like in other games
BF2042 had goofy skins and cringe voicelines until people got at DICE for trying to push those skins out

just played the game for the first one in a few months yesterday, and wow! it feels completely different, feels like a battlefield game, it’s great, please don’t drop support for this game, it’s shaping out to be really fun!
The class system honestly was a big improvement to the flow
That might be selfish but I hope they will drop support for the game soon if that can allow them to create the next Battlefield. I'm just hoping them understood that we don't want a Fortnite game with politically correct heroes & skins but a regular BF like BF3, BF4 or BF1. Players seems to be happy with BFV and BF2042 because they "fixed" the games. But honestly these games came from being 8/20 to 13/20. I'm praying that the next game will be an old fashion Battlefield with the good old class system. And a playable game from day one. Otherwise I'll be definitely done with that franchise. They messed up 2 times in a row.

(Based on PC) 1) No. Post-match you go see xp progress which you can skip, then battlepass progress skip, then loading screen to next match which shows name of next map on bottom right 2) Yes you can filter servers multiple ways (such as map, era, and mode) in the server browser (I don't think there's a map vote feature. Even then only Bf1 had it. 3,4,V as far as I know didn't have it either officially at least) 3) You can change squads in a match except when spawned in the map. So basically die then click escape and go to where you can see list of players in the match. the option to switch squads should show up now (agreed it isn't the most visible or intuitive ui interaction but at least it's there)
@@MasoMathiou bf5 and bf1 is still plagued with cheaters that dice never fixed. They should pull the game if they aren't going to patch it anymore.

Battlefield battle royal with voice chat communications everyone would play this game leave warzone in the dust
Maybe a character customizer that let's you create a specialist of your own. So, let's say I want to bring my future-self in the game & wanted to see what happens if I can become a specialist. And since using Sundance's wingsuit is satisfying (in my opinion), I can probably bring their specialist's trait to my in-game character & assign it as an assault class, but can also choose whichever specialist gadget I can bring as long as it's available for a certain class that the past seasons specialist have, but they can still add more specialist traits & gadgets in future seasons. Just an idea I have.
With the launch of Season 4 it is 100% official that Battlefield 2042 is where it should have been at launch, it is now a great game! Please don't abandon it, let us enjoy it for at least 1 more year and don't release a new Battlefield game before October-November of 2024.
It depends on how S4 will be received and how many players will actually play it and invest money on microtransactions. They won't make more content for a dead game, right.

Once they finally remake Hour Glass the game will finally be where it should have been. The game already feels slightly better but it’s still not great. The specialist skins remove a lot of immersion and epicness from the game. Hopefully they top it all off with adding a mode where everyone just plays as the A.I. soldier skins.

Credit to DICE for keeping the skins "grounded" for the most part and not doing anything too gawdy or outlandish. My standards were in the dirt when I saw the 'Santa Boris' skin last year and I was very much afraid that was path this game was headed down.

My favourite part about this game's skins so far is how they are in line with the theme of the game and yet end up looking unique. Good stuff! (Also now that DICE has mostly fixed the launch issues I can see their focus on better animations has reappeared.)

This games gone a long way. I'm having hella fun with it now, it's getting the attention it deserves, and the battle passes are a lot more generous than others games with the cool skins.

Looks like the best battle pass so far. The skins for the characters looks pretty good compared to the previous ones. But the new character is probably going to break how air vehicles work. There is definitely going to be a wildcat camper at the back of the map, abusing her ability while looking at the sky for the whole game. Aircrafts aren't too OP imo, especially considering how fast wildcat missles recharge and the distance they can lock on. A camper wildcat can literally ruin the air battles for the whole game.

Now if we could just find a way to incentivizes players to drop ammo, revive and work as a team (capture breakthrough flags) that would be great. Since classes were introduced players seem reluctant and skittish. They seem overwhelming preoccupied with keeping that precious KD ratio.

inspect animations for melee weapons - press reload button while weapon is out. this would be a major change with how much running battlefield games have always had
