Regarding 3:31 to 4:24, I served on a ski patrol. People die doing stupid stuff on the slopes. No one ever wants to experience a body recovery. I know way too many who have. Kids mostly.
Agreed. I was a paramedic for about 10 years and have seen way too many people die especially doing something foolish. Texting and driving is a big pet peeve of mine and one died when she herself was texting and missed a curve and the other 2 died because a 16 year old girl who had only been driving for what? Maybe a year and decided she can text and drive just fine. She hit another car and while she was fine she killed 2 people. A mom and her 12 year old son. Saw a 19 year old refuse to wear a helmet and a harness at work at a glass factory and he was in a cherry picker with the bucket raised all the way up. The cherry picker crashed into something and overturned and the kid in the bucket was thrown out and landed on table with a HUGE sheet of glass and he had a hole in his head you could put your fist through. We tried to save him and then stopped and called his death. Those are just 3 of some of the stupid ways that people have died and these guys refused to follow the rules that are in place for a reason. I’m assuming OSHA had a field day at that glass plant

I live in FL now but I’ve lived in states where we had some pretty bad blizzards. Now we get tornadoes and hurricanes and Hurricane Ian kicked our asses and we turned into the City of Atlantis for a few days. The whole city was under water and some people had up to 5 feet of water in their homes. Then 2 months later we had Hurricane Nicole. Reminded me of 2004 when we had Hurricanes Charley, Francis, and Jean
0:15 I did a freeze frame video replay and not only did she get walloped by the wave, she also got hit in the head by a fish in that wave.
Those tumbleweeds, OMG!! One house was almost completely covered with them, even rolling over the roof. 😂

As a resident of SE Idaho I can sympathize with the winter scenes. I've sunk into 8 foot drifts and got out all by my lonesome VERY COLD!!!! At least twice have I broke through icy canals and 3 or 4 times in the cold lake nearby. We frequently get both heavy snows and hailstorms that break large tree branches for the weight of the snow/hail. We commonly get 50mph+ winds, though I only recall one time when it was over 100 mph -that was real fun getting into the barn!
Stupid place to ride a horse.... lucky it didn't break a leg.

The UK cannot cope with even an inch of snowfall, we have nothing in preparation except throwing salt and kitty litter on main roads only, shameful, hahaha, from the UK

Not a thing in the UK clips, seasonal Snow/Winter or Summer tyres. They use all round tyres, as snow only really hits the north, and its rarely bad unless in Scotland which gets hit hard, especially with high drifts, although services do shut down for 1/4 inch of snow elsewhere lol. People have forgotten how to drive in the snow, I used to years ago before i started feeling the cold, would get up at 3am to go and hoon around in the fresh snow on the roads. Before it became compacted, but now we are lucky to see snow. And if we do, usually gone in 24 hours, But in that short time country is at a standstill haha

When that skier was completely swallowed by the snow (and they had to dig him out), followed by the next one falling off the ledge, I couldn't help but laugh uncontrollably for several minutes. When I was about 2 or 3, we had chickens and a hailstorm came up suddenly, and my grandmother went out to get the chickens in before they were killed, holding a thick pillow on her head to keep her from getting brained (they said the hailstones were rather large) but was still nearly knocked out, and I was told that several of the chickens were killed by being struck, so we evidently had chicken for our meals for quite some time after that. My mother's youngest sister, when she was about 5 or six was picked up by a strong gust of wind and carried about 50 feet, through the air (so I was told), which traumatized her so much that for the rest of her life, a strong wind blowing (either felt or heard) would send her into a panic. Out here, in the Panhandle of Nebraska, we get "stampedes" of tumbleweeds, as seen in the video, but seldom as extreme as the video showed, both with the strong winds we get here but also because those tumbleweeds (Russian Thistle) are too darn common around here (they are now considered a noxious weed, but nobody can figure out how to get rid of them).
That avalanche guy though. I think I'd rather be the ski jumper.

Just because we have seen this doesn't make your words correct. First up, weather EXTREMES are increasing worldwide. There's scientific proof. And I feel the need to say, when do you think these clips were filmed, 100 years ago ? So yeah just because we saw plenty of evidence of mad weather just there, it doesn't mean that it can't get any more frequent and inconsistent with 20 years ago.
