I had the same experience in dating, so have other people. To cause such pain to a person based on rumours is wrong. They truely loved one another, and she took care of him after the accident while he was in a coma, until his death, while being a mother to their daughters and helping them cope. The only thing Friso gave up was his succession rights - I imagine it was a huge relief. Queen - and now Princess, Beatrix; used her position to ensure Mabel accessed a high position indeed, often escorting her personally. If she's good enough for her, what's your problem, exactly? But his brother Willem Alexander get his first childe, Princess Katarina Amalia 2003 I belive and the ex. Queen Juliana passed away just before Johann Friso and Mable get Married 2004. I think Mable was looked at as little bit strange in Europe among people intressed in royaltys. Because the rumers of her previous life and also her out fits in at festivities. But it's very sad the death of Friso (as he wanted to have as his first name after the wedding and changed of title). And I'm seen Mable gave grown up long time ago and do great job. I wonder if she have a new Fiance? She held a gala or something whit a prince of Bayern - in Bayern I belive.

Well, if you can get over your bias, it's clear that some of the best run European countries have Constitutional Monarchies: Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Spain, and Monaco. There is a clear benefit when the National identity has essentially a diplomatic family & elected politicians then can focus on what they were elected to do & not focus on their personal life. Not really. Edward VIII was actually King and then he abdicated. Prince Friso was the spare, and his older brother already had a child at the time of Friso's marriage so Friso was probably never going to be on the throne anyway.
