I’ve owned a MK4, MK5, MK7 and my brother owned a MK7. Mainly GTIs, MK4 was a Golf VR6. I recognize none of the buttons. I’ve seen them in some Audis but no Golfs. Lock/unlock look similar to my MK7s from what I recall though. Been driving a 335i since I totaled that GTI tho might remember wrong.

Funny thing is I spotted like 6 parts in this short that looks identical in my 2016 A6. The keyfob, dome light console, side mirror control knob, door lock buttons, air vent “control knob”, and makeup mirror. I’m not saying the build quality on my Audi is bad, but if I spent 200k+ on a lambo I’d be disappointed to realize half of its parts catalogue is shared by a diesel wagon lol

I went to open the door and the handle snapped off, luckily it wasn't my fault because the bodywork guy said the back plastic was superglued together. The look in my dad's eyes when he saw the door handle broken up in my hand. That was one of the most expensive cars he's ever had in that dealership.

And besides, Carbon Fiber is made to be flexible, so og course it's gonna move like that if you grab and pull it like that, but it's not like slapping it will make the interior fall apart

I’ve owned a MK4, MK5, MK7 and my brother owned a MK7. Mainly GTIs, MK4 was a Golf VR6. I recognize none of the buttons. I’ve seen them in some Audis but no Golfs. Lock/unlock look similar to my MK7s from what I recall though. Been driving a 335i since I totaled that GTI tho might remember wrong.

That's more of a luxury saloon. This is a superlight supercar meant for trackdays. Of course, it's not going to feel as solid.
Funny thing is I spotted like 6 parts in this short that looks identical in my 2016 A6. The keyfob, dome light console, side mirror control knob, door lock buttons, air vent “control knob”, and makeup mirror. I’m not saying the build quality on my Audi is bad, but if I spent 200k+ on a lambo I’d be disappointed to realize half of its parts catalogue is shared by a diesel wagon lol

I went to open the door and the handle snapped off, luckily it wasn't my fault because the bodywork guy said the back plastic was superglued together. The look in my dad's eyes when he saw the door handle broken up in my hand. That was one of the most expensive cars he's ever had in that dealership.

@@lcberchtold1208 I believe they do it to keep the paddle shifters free of obstruction from a turn signal stock. I could be completely wrong though. There are quite a few modern super car manufacturers that do it that way.

And besides, Carbon Fiber is made to be flexible, so og course it's gonna move like that if you grab and pull it like that, but it's not like slapping it will make the interior fall apart
