From the USA here that lives in the New England area, Saturday I went to my first MonsterJam at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA. I thought about you and your Monster Truck and maybe someday you will get it over here in the States. I know that's far fetch because the cost to ship it over here would be just crazy money. I can see how everyone can have a dream of owning one but to make the dream come true is not that simple. So happy you were able to make your dream come true!

i've got one of the 30 degree north trucks and they do seem really good, chassis seems real good but hinge pin blocks were a bit weak and got replaced with losi ones other than that and the cheap engine being rubbish like all clone engines its been really good
That cheap buddy looks pretty good. But it definitely needs something done with those back shocks. It looks like they need thicker oil in them

Back in 2015, there's a video on KZhead showing the losi 5t and 30degree north come from same factory and the 30 degree north has more beefy parts.
This has never been the case and never will
The video is gone now so maybe we will never know the truth or even believe me. It's easy to just cancel what I've said so happy now?

yep that 7075 is some tough stuff. i only know because the guy that built the twelve rotor on rob dahm said so the other day. now i'm an expert metalurgallist and can confirm what kev says. i just hope it holds up! 😆

Back in the day (early 2000s) I had a FG Beetle. I used to run it on the highest octane fuel I could get, plus the correct mix of two stroke oil and a splash of straight nitromethane. The more the merrier. Not sure you can buy straight nitro from Model Shops these days, but it helps to know guys who run Nitro altereds and dragsters. 😉

Cool video, Note taken when i get my Losi 5ive T 2.0 i might put a 30dn chassis on mine if i bent the stock one on mine. Someday i'll convert mine to electric maybe an XLX2\800KV combo or a Max 4\560KV combo since i can't afford a Taylor upgraded engine.
The slow ass power delivery of gas engines is so clear now we are used to everything brushless. Fun content as always, keep em coming!

I've got a dbxl gas, and large scale gas rigs are fun but they aren't meant to he bashed the way an xmaxx or kraton is unless you're dumping a ton of money into them, also a quality kill switch helps not just any random cheap one and a failsafe isnt good enough, and they're rough on tires because of the weight, you should link up with some of the UK 5th scale guy Kev I'm sure they would teach you more about how to run them properly and safely.

Kev, your 5 is like my mtxl. very little Losi left on it. Im too lazy/cheap to swap the chassis though. that's why I bought dbxl rollers for dirt cheap. anyways, your 5 still have the notorious lawn dart/nose pile drive tendency? Im thinking of swapping 5 shocks on my mtxl
Kev you seriously need to get a killswitch fitted. That failsafe won't work if there is an engine or servo/linkage issue :)

Doesn’t thicker diff oil force the wheels to spin at the same speed both sides, similar to locker? Which means the outside wheel will spin faster than freewheeling?
