    • @@PapiGiles You don't have to be old to die. I've lost my favorite cousin, and several friends and acquaintances to motorcycle accidents. I haven't risen since my 20's. It's just crazy out there. When driving car, I try to pay attention to the traffic around me. I give room so MCs can pass. But I can't tell you how many times I've been surprised by a MC zooming by me going 40 mph faster than I am. I drive a Mustang GT, and normally go 15 to 20 over the limit. Sometimes, a LOT faster, depending on traffic and location. You can have fun and still drive more sensibly than you do. And BTW, riding on the shoulder is NOT lane splitting.

He didn't seem disrespectful in any way. Am I missing something here or you Mericans just love to be offended by any minor inconvenience?

Slow down, enjoy the ride, smell the roses, like a hippy chopper rider, but you can do it with out a sore arse on a hardtail. There is no shame in crusin slowly cherishing the scenery but probably stay off the freeways. Owen, Come to Australia to ride. I have some Evo's cheap hire, Northern NSW. OWEN.

      @PapiGiles@PapiGilesАй бұрын
    • @@PapiGiles that I doubt! Ill agree that your on an R1 but it sounds a little to thumpy but audio could play a part. But you racing bikes other than with your friends on the street. Definitely no! Here’s why. Rpm’s way to low even for street riding and shifting quick. The real give away is disengaging the clutch while going through your turns. Someone who races even beginner knows this. There are habits you learn racing and you don’t have them.

He did all he could to put distance between himself and the HD rider. And then he talked smack. No one is disputing that a sport bike is typically faster than a HD. Sport bike rider was still cringe.
