“NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU B!TCH” One of my favorite lines in Harry Potter.
my fav was i must not tell lies proffesor (in the film)
You mean spells?)
Am I the only one that got Ellen Ripley vibes from that line lol
Yes for real
I always thought it was witch lol
This convinces me that Fred and George were the bravest people ever. They disobeyed their mother
Omg yes!!
On a daily basis! 😂

So did Ginny. She was meant to stay in the room of requirement.
Too bad Fred died tho
I wish they gave this duel more detail and time. This was one of the best duels in the series!
In the book, this duel is much better
@@thibautmanauthon57except you had to read about it 😉 Jk they def were lacking with the magical duels in the movies. It made the duel between voldemort and dumbledore that much cooler though! Wish more like that could jave happened
@@thibautmanauthon57yess, the duel not only mrs weasly vs bellatrix, but also ginny and hermione vs bellatrix, so intense
@@thibautmanauthon57I heavily disagree, I think the movie version is a lot better in a lot of ways.
@@Plsrateeight wasn't the ground beneath them cracking due to the incredible strength from both the witches pouring out their souls into the duel as Bellatrix tries to do her masters bidding while Molly attacks with the blind rage of a mother whose kids are in danger? Didn't Molly lash out at other people trying to help her because she was going to take Bellatrix on her own? When Bellatrix finally died, didn't Voldemort feel it and simultaneously send McGonagall, Kingsley and Slughorn flying? Idk, seems pretty cool to me but I guess the movie was def better... (JK I love both of them so much but the books definitely had it better)
Okay but can we talk about how Molly was throwing unforgivable curses non-verbally
Actually no, I saw a video about a Brazilian Harry Potter KZheadr and he said there must be more curses besides the Avada Kedavra besides thisbscebe being different on the books she dosen’t turn into “dust”
@@marcospauloferreira1772 ela petrificou a bella, por isso quando soltou a outra magia fez ela em pedaços.
Those final two spells weren't unforgivable. If I remember right, the theory was that when her normal attack spells didn't work, she decided to improvise. She threw out a drying charm, which was able to pass through her shield. She dried her like a piece of jerky. Then a normal attack turned her into dust. Pretty gnarly, if true.
@@Mackedo5that makes sense the shield probably didn’t see it as a threat
She didn’t use an unforgivable
I love how Molly looked scared immediately after that line. It's like she realized she might die, but took a breath and fought on. Very mom-like.
She got scared after her first spell was blocked, not after saying it.
She was terrified but fought on to protect her kids. Thats a true example of being a parent and bravery.
Being a mom. I 10000% approve this comment ❤
Idk if she was gonna die. Molly kinda beat the shit outta Trix are for kids there

People keep forgetting that Molly, behind her motherly mask, is a powerful and deadly witch. And there is one thing you don't do with Molly Weasley: trying to hurt her children.
She's not powerful and deathly which, she's just a loving mother. She's strong not because of her offensive ability, but because of her love towards her children and family. That's what a mother is. And as Dumbledore said, "love is the most powerful magic", especially parent's love to their children.
@@BabyFrostGiant she is. She is a prewett, one of the sacred 28 of powerful witch/wizard family lineage
Exactly that's what I believe as well. Molly may have come from a powerful line of wizards.. but Bellatrix was nothing ordinary. Whatever talent Molly had, it was finally greatly augmented by nothing but the "old magic", the mother's love.
@@BabyFrostGiant She actually is canonically a powerful witch lmao she hails from the Prewitt family who are a powerful pure blood family.
@@BabyFrostGiant L
This scene is so incredibly touching. Molly said that line from the heart, after losing Fred, she wasn't gonna let anyone hurt one of her children again, so her spells grew stronger for the power of love. ❤
I've never read them but I always had a feeling that this duel was A LOT more epic in the books.
In the film, Bellatrix casts a blue spell at Ginny Weasley instead of a Killing Curse, who deflects it using a Shield Charm. In the book she just avoids it. In the film, Hermione and Luna are also not duelling Bellatrix alongside Ginny as depicted in the book, as Hermione is fighting Nagini with Ron on the Grand Staircase and Luna can be seen fighting Death Eaters behind Bellatrix. In the film, the duel takes place atop one of the House tables, instead of on the stone floor, as specified in the book. In the film, after Bellatrix's retaliation against Molly's attack, Molly proceeds to cast four unidentified spells in a row, but they are all blocked by Bellatrix. The unidentified spells are fired with green lights, seeming to be the Killing Curses; however, in the books, Killing Curses are not able to be blocked by a simple Shield Charm. In the film, Bellatrix is briefly immobilised, breathing in deeply with an expression of shock, and after being hit by another spell by Molly Weasley, explodes. In the book she just falls over, dead. In the film, neither Harry nor Voldemort witness the duel, as they are facing off on the Grand Staircase, the Marble Staircase and later on a set of catwalks by The Quad battlements. But in the book, Voldemort screams about Bellatrix's loss. In the film, Bellatrix is not the last standing Death Eater. This is from the wiki, so honestly I'd say the movie is definitely the more entertaining of the two, but the details put into the book are worth reading it for.
Well, there's nothing epic about this scene whatsoever!
Same here I never read the books either but I guess they make things different in the movies then the books
@@JulioCesar-ez6wfactually it is the way she protected her daughter and killed Bellatrix it's epic. Molly weaselys killed it
Damn straight it was. Read the books
Avada Kedavra is painless. Molly's spell looks like the more unforgivable than the killing curse.
How do you know
I guess Molly dealt with evil equally. Belatrix Lestrange is a merciless witch. You cannot deal with someone merciless with being soft hearted. Most especially if that witch almost killed her daughter. 😊😊

Never threaten a mommas children. Something else to note is that she was good friends with the longbotems and knew exactly what she did to them, so there was an extra level of hatred for her. Molly is one of the greatest moms in fiction.
It's Molly's stare at the end that's equally terrifying, happy to kill protecting her family... we love her

Yes! The Weasleys are actually an ancient and powerful bloodline, and so is Molly's family.

Molly was more gangster...than anyone ever thought. With the sweetest, and unassuming smile that hid a spine of steel, with a wicked, and Kick Ass...Skill-set of power!
That smile at the end was priceless
This was very satisfying. Voldemort's number one groupie vs the den mother of Gryffindor. So to speak. But Molly proved a lioness.
Never mistake kindness for weakness
It often takes to kindest of souls to be the strongest.
It’s crazy that after all the people belatrix has killed, she was defeated by Molly. And the face that Molly made after was so good

Also it's just like sports you get all cocky and then you lose exactly what Bellatrix

Never underestimate a mama bear when her Cubs are in danger
Molly is an underrated gem, only the most powerful witches and wizards can do non verbal magic, like it’s rare, and she kills bellatrix with only non verbal magic during that fight, that’s why Bellatrix had that worried look, she had underestimated her opponent.
Actually not, if I remember correctly from the books the students of Hogwarts learn to use spells non verbally in the 6th grade and Harry struggles with non verbal magic quite a bit.
Not really, adults do non verbal magic all the time, we're just reading from the POV of Harry who is still a teenager and not used to non verbal magic which they only learn in the last two years of school. Bellatrix was more surprised because Molly looked like an inexperienced civilian witch when in reality she was part of the Order of the Phoenix.

True... She was also a verry skilled high caliber duelest before she had kids and yeah bella was out classed.
I just now noticed how Molly’s family is just all sitting back and just watching the whole fight unfold. Makes me think they knew Bellatrix was completely screwed.
Molly: Not my daughter, you b*tch. Bellatrix: Laughs Weasley family including Percy: Same response as the world has when Canada stops saying sorry
Imploded, then exploded. That's where Jenny got her powers from.
My favourite line of Bellatrix was “hee he he he✨”
« Avada Kedavra is a forbidden spell » Mrs. Weasley : no need for children spells 💀
This scene is more terrifying in the books, because The Dark Lord see that his most loyal and aggressive lieutenant has fallen and he scream then went in rampage so Kingsley and two other wizards/wicth couldn't handle him well and he almost kill Mrs. Weasley.
And I missed that scene so much in the movie 😢
Molly had a mean streak in her. Couldn't have produced such a gnarly curse otherwise
This scene is priceless on so many levels. Including Bellatrux’s face when she realizes she has been beaten. And at first, it’s a surprise that Molly Weaseley took her out but after one thinks about it, you don’t mess with a momma bear’s cubs. Just a glorious scene.😊
Everyone seems to forget how Molly Weasley practiced Magic everyday of her life. Tending for that many children, the housework and everything by Magic day in day out. Her practice of Magic is a continuous one and should never be underestimated. To her wielding spells must feel like breathing not like the whip it was for others.

Yes!! And when snape died, so many of us cried ☹️ I remembered being in the theater watching the movie thinking “wow this is really all about to be over for good” 😭
“NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU B!CH”- Molly Weasley the best mother in Harry Potter history
Harrys mother too she sacrificed herself
a murderer
Whenever I watch this scene, I think of how Molly fought in the first was against the Death Eaters. She is a very powerful witch that found her happiness in her family. Molly has seen some shit and done some shit and she never wanted her children to see that part of her, but at the threat of anyone hurting hee children, Molly dug deep back into herself where her warrior slept and she let hell come out of her soul and into her spells.
Considering the flashes of green every time molly swung her wand, I'm gonna assume she used the killing curse relentlessly. And we know unforgivables only work if you truly mean them. Then she must've switched tactics and went for that full-body bind curse, then finished it with the reductor curse. A+ dueling skills. It also helps that Harry's previous sacrifice is kinda preventing all death eaters from causing harm while adding a small stat boost to the good guys. Edit: the books say that the killing curse can't be blocked but we see it get blocked a lot. Even in the books there's always a way to not get hit. Dumbledore uses magic statues at one point to block it
Ill never forget the entire theater cheered when she said that.
What I love is that bellatrix wasn’t granted the relatively painless death of the killing curse. She was hit with a spell that’s known to cause extreme discomfort, and then hit with a second spell to make her explode.
Still like her death in the book more, it has that beautiful karma that the movie is missing: she lets an opening slip for Molly to use, gets hit with a fatal curse and dies mid-laughter, going down exactly the way she killed Sirius.
What spell did Molly use to make Bellatrix explode like that?
Honestly after playing the game, everyone is starting to question just what was so unforgivable about the killing curse. Avada Kadava is an instant, painless death, while we're also given the option to kill people by setting them on fire, smashing them up and down into the ground, paralysing them (at which point, we could casually and slowly insert a knife into their throat, or cast a fire spell and make them burn while being unable to scream or even flex a muscle), drowning them, etc etc. Just one of those small ways we get reminded, Rowling just got lucky and made an ok book franchise that got blown way out of proportion 😂
@@Trojianmaru Okay? Are you trying to be a contrarian? I'm not even the biggest Harry Potter fan but I have to admit that it is a once-in-a-generation level work of fiction. People really take stories and universe-building for granted without stopping to think how hard it is. Try and come up with a whole fictional world that's as enthralling as the wizarding world, you could spend your whole life and not even come anywhere close. Are there some things that don't add up under scrutiny? Yes. Do they ruin the story overall? absolutely not. She created this whole world, it's rules, it's characters, creatures, everything from her imagination. Not only that but she was able to organize it all into an epic work of fiction. Sure, call out what doesn't make sense, but to say the world and series is anything short of a mesmerizing display of what humans are capable of is just being obtuse.

A mother's deep love for her child or children is more powerful than any spell. Go Molly.
Bellatrix is one of the(if not the) strongest death eaters. Someone even Voldemort himself would like by his side. And Molly was able to take down such a powerful witch. This makes me wonder what would have happened if Molly had a full length role in the story, like Snape. She would have made a great Auror and Death eaters would have been terrified at the mere mention of her name!
Ей помогла ярость за убийство сына и страх потерять ещё детей. Это был сильный выброс ярости, отчаяния и адреналина
But Molly didn't choose it. That's Molly Weasley, and Harry Potter is a story of choices.
She's weaker than Harry
The immediate panic struck fear on George's face gets me every time. He sees the flash of green when Ginny blocks just from the corner of his eye and he knows it came from the place his little sister was standing. You know for a plot second he thought he'd lost another sibling😭💔

I kinda love that none of her family members did do something, knowing that Molly can handle her.
I love how her family is just straight up watching her fight for her life with a skilled death eater
The fact that she smiles at the end is the most uncanonical thing ever. She's a good character forced to kill enemies. But she's not the same character if she enjoys it. Feel the difference
Molly definitely enjoyed killing a woman with no heart, Bella killed her cousin Sirius and loved torturing her victims including the mud blood Hermione and Neville’s parents? I’m not sure about the parents though 🤔 I would definitely take enjoyment using petrificus totalus then blowing her up and turning her to dust 😂

The actual duel described in the book was so much more intense that what we saw on screen. The ground actually melted and cracked under the pressure and intensity of the spells that both these witches were using. It literally said "they were both dueling with intense bloodlust and ferocity." In the end Bellatrix was done in by the need of Molly to protect her children, having already lost one of them to the war.
