The Terminator is a 1984 American science fiction action film. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, a cyborg assassin sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), whose unborn son will one day save mankind from extinction by Skynet, a hostile artificial intelligence in a post-apocalyptic future. Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) is a soldier sent back in time to protect Sarah.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Terminator 2: Judgment Day is a 1991 American science-fiction action film. In the film, the malevolent artificial intelligence Skynet sends a Terminator-a highly advanced killing machine-back in time to 1995 to kill the future leader of the human resistance John Connor, when he is a child. The resistance sends back a less-advanced, reprogrammed Terminator to protect Connor and ensure the future of humanity.

    • I think about that, too. They say that “none of us make it out of this life alive.” But that doesn’t have to be true. We can live forever. Read Acts chapter 2 in the Bible to find out how. The “gift” is eternal life, and it’s free to everyone. There is purpose in this life.

The later prequels sequels are not good or better than those 2 awesome movies and they created a new big universe for the Terminator with video games, series, books, and millions of fans all over the world. The Pepsi can held by a Cyberdyne employee has the old logo which was changed in September of 1991, a few months after T2 was released. In addition, Danny Cookey's mullet would have been out-of-style in L.A. by 1995.

At teenage years they often have more money than some average person makes in a lifetime and that messes young minds up - you get everything that money can buy so fast that at some point life seems to lose purpose. Then they turn into drugs and bad habits and the outcome is that at 40 they look like 60 - burned out.

And I was pretty much watching the entire thing to mainly get to Edward Furlong's part. When I saw that the videos thumbnail was ACTUALLY an unedited photo of him my jaw dropped and I nearly fell out of my chair. (Thank goodness it was a pic of him at the dentist!) My GOD how life can be a cruel son of a bitch to child stars sometimes! He was clearly like teen heartthrob material in his youth, and he seemed to have the world at his feet co-starring with the biggest action star ever at the time. His turn in American History X even showed he could be a decent actor when he wanted to. But my GOD does that photo of him prove that drug abuse and alcoholism knows absolutely no bounds. It doesn't conform to racism or societal status. It stops at nothing. And can spread like wildfire! I've always liked that kid and it hurt to see him go down that path. I hope he finds a peaceful drug free way in life if he hasn't already.

  • Terminator 2 is probably my favorite movie of all time. Furlong did a good job in the movie playing young John Connor, but doesn't need to come back to play adult. If anything, Furlong can't play him because he refused to grow up. I'll keep saying this until it happens, but Norman Reedus would make the perfect adult John Connor in a future war Terminator movie if they ever do one. It can be a prequel to the first two films where the end of the movie or trilogy, they have to send Arnie back to save young John Connor. Reese will need to go back also to protect Sarah. I will let the filmmakers decide how that goes down.

    @Fonzflicks@Fonzflicks Жыл бұрын
