@@brother_maleik I think ive seen this already in other videos. I believe the explanation is that the hitbox of smough remains when the cutscene plays and so if you walk into it you get hit.

@@rropdrop7129 Smough starts an attack sequence before the cutscene, that teleports him. What is likely happening is that the boss activates the attack sequence, which has all the effects, like hitbox, dmg, etc. tied to it. But the attack isn't tied to the boss. So the entity of the boss calls for the attack sequence while itself plays the animation and sound, but gets teleported (and state of animation reset). But the attack itself is it's separate entity so it stays and doesn't move. Player walks into it.

This has happened to me about twice now. I always thought it was a phantom ornstein temporarily glitching into existence for a second to randomly hit you, but what people are saying about smough makes sense. Illusary wall should do a mini-vid on this.
