I most prefer the second riff with the palm muting technique in addition to the percussive thumb slap! This is such a great combo of 2 different skills as an intro to an awesome song. You are an amazing teacher; I would love to hear you play the whole song!

As a guitarist picking up a ukulele, I found it quite funny how similar all of these patterns and techniques are to what I naturally began playing on uke, as a guitarist lol

The only thing I would like to ask you is if you could have a better angle on the right hand to see which fingers are picking the strings. It is very difficult to see that. That would be very good. For the percussive thumb you can also end on 4th string 2 then 0, sounds exactly the same

Hi Marco, are all super tenor ukuleles tuned in low G as standard or would I need to get it set up for a thicker, low G string? 🙏
Was wondering about that too. Trying to play the second riff and realized his G is low.
I bought a low g string for my tenor ukulele and just switched it out with the high g string - pretty Simple!
