I got to drive a 2020 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe 4 Matic and it is quite possibly the best Grand Touring Car in the World. It is insanely comfortable, fast, quiet, stylish and has practically every single option you could ever want in a car!

I genuinely consider myself very lucky to own this car and really agree with what's said here. First - don't by new, get a used one with a full service history. Second, it's a genuine dream to drive - you can cruise or put it in Race and bang through the gears with your kids in the back laughing their @$$£$ off while taking most anything (though not all since it is a GT). Third, it is a lovely place to spend time - which is important since you're either loving the drive or stuck in traffic. I went with this because I needed 4 real seats (which they are) and 2 doors (4 being 2 too many) and felt it was a nicer place to be than an M8 (which I think is a great car too). And don't forget the pillarless design, it really makes a difference.

@@ThatTrackChannelcome on then mate, tell this sucker how much they wasted buying a new car which they probably have to pay subscriptions in order to use functions built into the car they own. No nothing wrong there, how about how the car is listening almost thr time. And will monitor their driving habits. And that information is being sold to insurers who are in turn charging their subscribers 200% +increases based on data they bought from your car. All sounds good to me mate. More reason to pretend to want to own one
the s class coupes are just so beautiful. Theyre one of the few cars that still give me that old time big body coupe look.
I have an 16 S63 coupe just love it plus its AWD. Still amazing vehicle I ever owned and still looks beautiful too! Great video! 😊

For me this is an understated masterpiece of a vehicle. Your depreciation statement is true for the S Series 4 door but the 2 door coupe holds its value pretty good. This is a vehicle I have been wanting for quite a while especially since this upgraded model came out. What upsets me about Mercedes is that they do not make this model anymore (S series AMG Coupe). I think the 20 or 21 model was the last year. Have no idea why they would make such a decision. Yea they just brought out the SL but IMO I'd still prefer the 2 door coupe. I really hope they bring it back soon. Nice review sir.

2018 - 2020 facelifts sell for 140 to 200 grand here and their msrp was between 230 to 300 thousand. Even with 60k miles they are over 100k here...
S coupe has been on-and-off for decades. For example, look up the S class coupe from 1996-1997. But in the 2000s, there were no S coupe. So they will release another one eventually

A good review and maybe a follow up video is warranted for the options provided, as well as the pricing on the used market.
I am pleasantly surprised by this straight talking no fluff piece review. Usually you get presenters who are steeped in PC dialogue and use words that are only there for marketing and so this guy is a fresh take. Also that's no disrespect to the guy

I started out getting kicked out of HS. Went into USMC volunteered and was selected to join a high op tempo unit. Learned how to be exceptional and always drive forward. Went to war- Got out after getting hammered (should see other guy) and fast forward to now where I am a senior tech exec. I have the GT63s with the entire Brabus 700 package and a AMG GTR and a G wagon 4 square. I get to do these things because I drive forward. If I can anyone can. Anyhow, the GT63s with the Brabus 700 package is almost too much to take in. 2 yrs later it is still amazing and it is still shockingly fast. On the track it isn’t as nimble as my much lighter AMG GTR. and he is right about the stereo it sounds like you are at a concert.

@@ThatTrackChannel Got a 2021 S63 AMG and called the biggest Benz delaship in USA to order a 2024, today. They will be hybrid with 792 hp, for the sedans (that’s what I’m looking to get)
I got the 2012 E550 AMG and it has a majority of the same options besides the new info system for 1/20 the price basically w a twin turbo v8 instead. I much rather what I have to this for that price.

@@NeilThompson-ej6yp for sure it doesn’t have all the gadgets and whistles but in terms of drive enjoyment, I personally would take mine over a new one any day. Mind you, it’s hard to compare and S class to an E class but I absolutely love the v8 twin turbo.
You said it had 600+ horsepower when I thought it had 503 hp? Unless the car your driving has a tune and they’re not $200k brand new either so those numbers threw me off a bit. But overall great video 👍🏻
200 Canadian, not US. This is a 2020 S63 Coupe, they come 600 plus horsepower stock.

I wish. 2015 S63 Coupe with all the options and low miles are still hovering around $90K U.S.
Here in Canada, there are 3 2017 s63 coupes for sale for around 100k Canadian which is like 75k us. New in Canada these cars were north of 200k. That's a pretty big reduction if you ask me.

@Mauricespoloreviews yeah that definitely makes things tough. If it's a pre-owned place, and you really liked the car, you could probably request to take the car to mercedes for ppi.

You're right this is one of the best cars, but I think the Coupe looks so feminine compared to the S63 long wheelbase sedan. If you want everything in one car, you have to get the sedan, it's longer, has more space and presence and you can use it for more, even on a daily basis.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Myself, I have 2 kids so if I were buying one, it would be a sedan. A friend of mine just got a 2015 S63 sedan,which I believe was the first year of the face-lift, so hopefully I will be reviewing it once the weather gets a little warmer again.
@@ThatTrackChannel I see, yes true and even though I don't have kids, for the looks and size I would go for the long wheel base alone. You can't even have screens with TV in the back of the Coupe. I want all the accessories it can have. 2015 is still the pre facelift, 2014 was the first year then in 2017 (model year 2018) the facelift arrived.
