I feel like the inspiration for Pokemon Legends: Arceus was based off of Breath of the Wild (since it was and still is huge), but also from the movie: "Arceus & The Jewel of Life," but anyway this open world game looks awesome!!!!!!
It seems very much like it might borrow the engine, too. (or at least a new engine based on it)

@@therealbronzehat not really...it’s better that there are two separate teams working on them, but the people asking for sinnoh games were all asking for different things. Some wanted the sinnoh remakes to be similar to the original and not be over complicated with dynamax or new content, while others wanted an open world similar to swsh where gamefreak could try to expand their horizons. So by going this way, you have the opportunity to choose what kind of sinnoh game you want, or both...and rather than just game freak throwing two different games out, they split the work with another company which is also smart in my opinion.

This Legends game makes it look like Game Freak took the comparisons between trees in Sw and Sh to the ones in BoTW both personally and literally.

Now that everyone has their DPP remakes, I can officially look forward to Black & White 3. But seriously tho, Pokemon Legends Arceus looks hella dope. If they can pull off the Breath of the Wild treatment for it well, it'll be the hottest Pokemon game of all time.

@@igor-jo8bw To be quite frankly honest, I was already done and over with all the people clamoring for DPP remakes the instant ORAS hit. I never got into that gen, never really liked it, and didn't have the connection to it that a lot of people have, so I never really cared for them much. I played ORAS because I never got the chance to play Ruby and Sapphire back in the day, and they were ok. I tried playing Diamond back then, but just got so bored with it I never finished. I'll see how these remakes pan out before I get into them. Legends Arceus, OTOH, definitely looks like a game to get into. That one I'll be tracking more than BDSP. It seems that both of these games are following in the footsteps of The Legend of Zelda's recent entries, the Link's Awakening remake and Breath of the Wild. Not a bad pair of games to emulate, IMO.

Sinnoh games are not so hard. It's easy. If you are doing a normal playthrough. But they are specially HELL for Nuzlockes.

Cyndaquil = magic? It seems more like gunpowder considering that was an Asian thing in black powder...
@@jark06 Yes Magic. The starters are like old school MMO or WOW. Osso final evolution is Samurott. It holds like a Sword of a Samurai Cyndaquil final form is Typlosion. It represents a Magic Sorcerer's Rowlet final evolution is Decidueye. It holds a bow and an arrow.

Same, as well as Shining Pearl.
Until we get actual names for the Legends protagonists, I’m just gonna call them Koden and Tsutae, since both refer to legends and ancient history.
I'm calling them Izanagi and Izanashi, since those are the two deities (male and female) Dialga and Palkia are based on
@@skotiaH2O I did debate those names, but due to the game focusing on Arceus than on Dialga and Palkia, I couldn’t really attach those names to the characters. I thought Kuni and Ame might also work, due to Arceus being possibly based on Kuni-no-Tokotachi and/or Ame-no-Minakanushi, two creator deities thought to have created Izanagi and Izanami. In the end, I settled on Koden and Tsutae because they fit the historical theme better.
I hope that when they do get names, they get to keep characters' Japanese names in the English version. Don't get me wrong, I totally get why they localize names to keep the game relatable for younger audiences who don't know a lot about the world outside their home... but with this game being so heavily influenced and immersed in the history and culture of Japan (albeit a fictionalized interpretation) I feel like keeping as much of that Japanese influence as possible, even in the localized versions, would really help maximize that immersion and bring the world to life, especially considering this one seems to be aiming towards a slightly older audience probably.

I was really disappointed at first, but rewatching the trailer for DP remakes I think the chibi style I'm ok with now
Yea i felt the same way at first but then I realized, its literally the same style as the original d&p but in 3D.
Didn't really care for Gen 4, I'll give it another shot though. Freaked out when I saw Oshawott in legends though as Gen 5 is my favourite Gen and Samurott is my favourite Pokemon.

I recognized that classic pokeball. It's on a movie (featuring Celebi if I'm not wrong) where Ash goes back in time and meet with professor Oak when he's still a teen. You have to twist the thing first before throwing it to a wild pokemon.

Porygon Z was in the trailer who wasn't in the DP Sinnoh dex and the Gracidea girl in Floaroma from Platinum is there so I think at the very least it will feel like DP with some of the Platinum updates (new forms and updated dex) I do hope at least Sylveon and the 2 new Regis will be involved but ultimately wait for more information before I make a judgement

I really didn't want Diamond and Pearl remakes to be in the Sword and Shield style, because I was afraid they would lose a lot of their charm that way. I'm sure some people think they lost their charm this way too, but for me, the charm remains, and I'm very happy with it. My biggest hope was simply for the return of the WiFi Plaza anyway and it looks like that might actually happen, if the Union Room is any indication.

I know have to save up all the money I have to get those 3 games plus earn 300 dollars to buy my sister a Nintendo switch so I can take over her old one so I keep my Pokemon sword progress and the expansion pack I bought for the game.

When I saw Oshawott I freaked out, Samurott is my favourite Pokemon. Starting a new journey with it will be great and I'm gonna name it the same as before, hopefully I'll feel the same excitement that 5 year old me felt when exploring Unova with it.
