Thanks for taking the time to watch this video! I appreciate you whether you're my friend and I told you to watch this lol or you happened to stumble upon this for some reason:)

I love this video but the one thing I would say is the Greek guy has a name! He is Mihalis Eleftheriou, or just Mihalis if his last name is too much lol, y'all need to know this beautiful genius's name, say it loud and tell everyone you know who wants to learn a language about him!
pinning this comment because YES.
Amen! Spread the word! Recently Mihalis has been applying his genius to teaching music theory and it’s every bit as brilliant as you would expect it to be! The first six lessons are up on his channel
He's our crush teacher
@@livig4639 yea he's cute lol
Can u just tell me the app name plz 😢
I'm a spanish teacher on Italki and a student today told me he practiced spanish for 3 months using language transfer. He had THE BEST spanish I've ever seen for that amount of time, even better that students after one year or two. He even knew how to cojugate in past subjunctive + conditional in one sentence... THREE MONTHS. I have to try this app.
any updates?
I am learning Spanish and I will use this app.
@Joshua Probably the same as before since he is a Spanish teacher.
@@xeonome1 i think he wanted it for other language
Ever considered that he was LYING?…
For those of you that love this learning method. If you're learning a language thats not on the LT list, Michel Thomas and Paul Noble use the exact same structure. This learning method originally came from the Michel Thomas programs. If you're spacifically looking for Chinese, KZhead the Medlock Method. It's the same structure except it adds reading to it. If you're learning Japanese, KZhead Michel Thomas Japanese. That course happens to be fully available for free.
I think Margarita Madrigal used it before Michel Thomas. I completed both Paul Nobel Japanese courses and it was amazing. Grammar is so much easier now. It isn't very expensive on Audible, and I prefer it to Michel Thomas for Japanese specifically.
thank you so much! im learning mandarin chinese and currently lost on how to start.
@hungryfishie_ NP. I'd recommend going through the course twice. First without looking at the screen, then looking at it. With the languages I study, I always find it easier when I already have a grasp of speaking before I start reading and writing.
@@charityneverfaileth22 I've never read her book. I should check it out at some point. I've been using duolingo surprisingly to expand on my Spanish. It actually works well ever since I completed the language transfer course
@@jeremiahwat1 yes, i immediately looked it up after seeing your comment and have gone through two lessons now. i love how it was so different compared to other courses ive done for any language in my life before. it keeps me on my toes!! made me think super hard to guess the sentences and figure out how the grammar works. i cant believe its completely free. thanks again, youre a legend!!
When I started the video, I got Duolingo ad 💀
This guy is doing a revolution, sharing and spreading a new language for free for everyone who wants to learn and don't have money to pay even for premium online versions...making access possible for everyone And thank you for making the video 😊
Language transfer is amazing! I have already done 41 lessons, and I feel like I understand a lot of Spanish.
I listen to a lesson of the Greek Language Transfer course every time I go for a walk and just those 40 lessons I've done have made me more confident in my understanding of Greek than studying Ancient Greek and finishing the entire tree in Duolingo have. I even managed to write a text in Greek a while back without struggling with the grammar! I'm very glad to stumble upon someone else who is so enthusiastic about Mihalis' work!
Woah, that’s amazing! 👏🏼👏🏼
Hi fellow greek learner how goes your journey?
I'm mostly interested in ancient greek. Can the greek course of Language Transfer be useful for ancient greek as well?
@@szilveszterforgo8776 If you aren't interested in modern Greek, then it's more efficient to just study Ancient Greek.
I LOVE this app! I first completed it a couple years ago. I don't think they had the app then and I downloaded the files to my phone to listen to. I always recommend the English version to Spanish speakers wanting to learn English. I agree with you, I have no idea how this tool isn't talked about more!👍🏼
Thank so much for the comment!😊 Omg no way! That's so cool that you knew it way before it was even an app:) Wish I knew about it years ago!
Nobody talks about Language Transfer because its free! 😂
I love LT! I even signed up for a Patreon account just to i could support it financially. Mihalis really is doing a huge service to the language learning community.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I used the app in conjunction with The Green Owl, language podcasts, and...well living in Texas; and got a pretty good jumpstart on Spanish for no cost. What could be better than free?
@@bromixsr hows spanish going?
I'm picking up Spanish again since high school. My teachers in high school were very good and always explained where words came from and broke them down for us. Now that I'm picking it up again, I found that there's a lot of language learning apps that don't really do that and just give you a modified translation that's more for memorization than actual understanding. I'm definitely gonna try this!
God, you had a genuinely good teacher, I’m so jealous 😂 But if you enjoyed the way your high school teacher taught, I’m pretty sure you’d love Language Transfer:)
I’m a third of the way done the Italian program and it’s about doubled by knowledge of Italian, I love how the process tricks your brain to remember things without having to use rote memorization. Doing Pimsleur with it as well so hopefully I’m fluent soon!
Two years later, how are you doing?
And??? Did you learn?
Exactly........this is exactly my sentiments.......language transfer is the absolute best...
Long live language transfer! 👏🏼
I completed both the Greek and Swahili courses before traveling to Greece and Tanzania respectively and in both places I was able to have basic but rewarding conversations with locals, who were generally very impressed with the level I was able to attain for just a trip.
The rules you mentioned for turning an English word into a Spanish word were basically the same I intuitively used to pass all my Spanish vocabulary tests in school without learning 😂 Spanish is such an easy language to learn for everyone who speaks English
As a Romanian I had the surprise to notice that I have involuntarily learned Spanish from... films.
@@user-gr7oe7do5e Yes. I am still learning English. I literally had to memorise it. Every time I type or write a word I "dictate" in my mind (and in my own language) letter by letter, the entire word. It is a process which is now taking place mostly in the background, but it is still there. And yes, I understand what you mean when you talk about the fact that English doesn't even have a concept of certain things that are particular to Spanish. The same happens when I need to translate from Romanian to English and I need to explain. (And yeah, I am the product of the old school, when you just had to learn!) The two languages are so different that sometimes it's simply impossible to "translate" a grammar error or even a joke (humour being many times based on characteristics of the language). I have to do "acrobatics" in order to at least translate the idea itself. Anyway, it's always an interesting experiment.
you're sooo underrated, i love the way you talk, so professional❤️ I'm also learning spanish!!
thanks for such a lovely comment!💞 love that you're learning spanish as well!
Stumbling on this video introduced me to this channel. Agree 100% with Language Transfer. It's fantastic and I learned so much faster than I would have.
I learned about LT from this channel and it’s been the most helpful app I’ve used by far. Thank you for sharing about it. Finished the 90 lessons last month and they were super helpful. Will likely cycle through them again
Your passion and excitement really come through on the vid. You make me happy! Glad to have stumbled on your channel. I’m learning Spanish too and will definitely check out LT! Will binge all your other videos too now!
This is such a sweet comment, thanks so much🥺💞💞
Your vibe and the way you convince us that it's good made me download it instantly! 🤣
I love this I just got done with the first 3 lessons and I already feel like I know so much more about the language and I’m so happy about it because my whole family is Cuban and Venezuelan so this makes me happy so that I will finally be able to talk to my family
You are amazing. Thank you for your light and vibrant energy. Beautiful video. 🙏I already doing this for fun, it is my hobby to connect all the languages, and I found so many amazing connections, so I deeply believe, and KNOW that in the root of every language is only one! Thank you.
Your example from the Language Transfer app has really convinced me to download it ASAP! I’m very sad we didn’t learn those tricks in school!
yessss🙌🏼
How is it so far
I found this app about a month ago and I really agree with u, as someone who is learning German on their own that app is like having your own personal teacher😭 people need to talk about it more
Can you name that app name...
Language Transfer
Your video just appeared in my feed and just 2 min in, I downloaded the app and did 20 min of learning. I already feel so proficient in the language I selected; the instructor and his method is amazing! I can't wait to keep going everyday. I wish I found your video recommendation 3 years ago! Thank you!!
Thank you so much I have searched for a completely free app for learning Spanish for sooo long time, thank you so much!☺️
I started learning Spanish on Duolingo 10 months ago and although I learned a lot, and I can speak with someone in spanish on a beginner level, I really loved the first few lessons on this new app you introduced me to. Understanding the grammar makes me understanding the language so much more! Thanks a lot!
Language transfer is amazing, I’ve been learning French for over 10 years and consider myself pretty close to fluent, within the first few lessons I was already learning new things, not new words, but new ideas about how the language worked
MIND BLOWN!!! I cannot wait to try this app thanks so much !!
just downloaded. LOVE how clean and simple it is. TYSM
I have been trying to study Spanish for years, but truly language transfer was the most useful and helpful app ever. I stopped studing spanish for almost 2 years and the first thing i started to do is to continue the course on language transfer again. I was able to write sentences only after 5 or 6 lessons. I also would recommend spanish butterfly KZhead channel to help with pronunciation.
I'm telling you language transfer is the best app ever!!! It's one guy teaching you 10 different languages and it's comprehensible because it's a new method of learning a language and I love the fact that you can understand the new language based on etymology you already know! I wish there were more courses like this but they can't transfer directly from English
Thank you so much for recommending this. Because of this app, I understand Spanish so much more. His teaching style saved me so much time and frustration.
I've been using it for almost a month and I totally understand why I'm seeing all the praise. Such a phenomenal app!
Yes. Absolutely!! Finally someone speaking about LT! Amazing!!
I LOVE her voice and enthusiasm!!!
Less than a minute into this video aaand.. you just genuinely speak very well. You ringer you!
Wow Emi...the energy and enthusiasm of yours are so contagious, and you smile all the time...love that...thanks for sharing...Best regards from Brazil
Language transfer is epic!!! I did the Intro to French and it has helped a lot!!! I hope he does a complete French someday :)
I'm so happy that it's already helping so much!!;)
It’s literally the best language learning app I’ve used so far He is awesome
Tysv!!!! So very excited to FINALLY make a difference in my language learning! Polyglot dreams here i come!
Language Transfer really is amazing! It finally helped me sort out Greek grammar.
Loved this video! Legit downloaded the app before the end of this vid! Thanks for sharing!
Always welcomed, and thanks so much for the comment!🤍
I just wanted the video and checked the app right after. Its looking like I am going to eat up all the 90 classes they have their for spanish. It’s unique way of teaching without taking notes..So checked my all boxes so far.Let’s see how it goes.Muchos gracias Emi❤😊😊
You know what? Thank you. I also wish I knew about this app way earlier and I just kinda found your channel by mistake (youtube rabbithole?), so thank you so much
Oh wow! I happened to come across LTO today and upon seeing ur video..I think i made the right choice to learn Spanish with it..Gracias❤
My teachers always told me to put my phone away, yet I've learned so much more from KZhead alone, far more quickly too. Thank you, this app is great.
I look forward to his complete version for Italian. :)
One of the few cool language apps that have Turkish available. I have been using LT for several months and I like being able to hear the language spoken. I hope they complete the course or add more lessons!
Omg thank you for this comment, I have been looking for a good app to learn Turkish and its so hard to find one that actually works, I'm going to try this one
I'm thanking you BIG TIME! In two lessons I was mind blown
I’m learning Turkish with Language Transfer. He is amazing because he makes you think. It’s like Language Maths. Love it.
Your expression is amazing, I love the way u talk and i must say you are good teacher
Hahaha thank you !
5:35 "It's just a love letter from one language to another." Your love for the app is overflowing. It made me want to stop the video and download it right away. 😂 I am glad I stayed.
I completely agree. I only wish there were more languages on the app. I love language learning and this app has honestly been the best I have come across.
Hello Ikenna. My name is Muhammed and I’m just a new subscriber from your channel. I really like your content. My biggest goal for me is to become a polyglot. So I’ve been attempting to learn 8 languages at once so I could prove everyone wrong but after watching the video. I’ve planned to use most of the apps you’ve mentioned so I can convert probably and learn it while I’m busy with other work. You’ve been a true inspiration to me. ありがとございます イケナ-さん 😊
Your language is so beautiful! Keep going, girl!
Thank youuu💞💞
Omg it has Greek! Yes! I love finding new resources to help me with my Greek language journey ☺️
that's so amazing to hear!!💞 and wow, much respect to you for studying greek!
Im greek and i find people who wish to study my language worth of respect! It's one of the hardest languages out there (and let's be honest, somewhat useless) combining both modern and ancient greek. I would be glad to help you if you have any questions.
I just came back to say thank you, this is an amazing app of an even more amazing movement behind it. I'm into Arabic now :)
This app is amazing! Thank you for making this video!
I love that app so much! It's amazing! I listen to it on my way to school everyday!
What a great way to learn Spanish! ❤ Thank You for sharing Emi!!! ❤
Thank you so much for this review and thank you to the creator of this app as well sir!
I can't thank you enough ❤
Thank you for your recommendation, the app sounds really interesting, gonna try it out. I always find that it sticks longer when I understand it. Also, I think because Asian languages are not closely related to English so it's hard to 'transfer'. I'm Vietnamese learning English & Mandarin Chinese so I can see a stark contrast between them :)))
yeahhh, for sure. I think they're working on a japanese course right now, and I'm really curious how they're going to pull it off😅
Paul Noble is similar but not free, and he does Chinese and Japanese, and they still work well.
As a native spanish speaker your pronunciation is beautiful, so clean and clear. I will be definitely checking the app for my German, thank you for the recommendation
I love your enthusiasm, it honestly makes the video 100x better
Thanks a bunch! I found it actually very simple to get an idea of the French language that has always been daunting to me.
I have this app on my phone but haven't used it yet. Off to do my first lesson now thanks to your review!
I actually love duolingo. It has helped me so much in my journey
I thought you were verified KZhead creator!!! YOU ARE DAMN UNDERRATED!!! You deserve so much more! Love your content!!
omg that's so sweet, thank you!!☺️
@@emigrace ofc, I'm loving your content! Keep posting.. :)
I think learning from different language apps is like learning from different people. People are different and how you learn can be different from others so if you try multiple apps, you might learn in multiple different ways which I think is great cause your brain might adapt to different ways of learning and doesn’t limit it. Also trying to learn by yourself (self taught) is good, people tell others they’re learning wrong but we all learn in different ways. If you think it’ll work, try it. Just don’t give up. And one of the keys to learning a language is to put a lot of time into it. Not just 5 minutes a day. An hour a day is probably minimum. Try to surround yourself in that language and listen to podcasts or music throughout the day.
Yeah and the frequency makes sense, as well
Absolutely. I always hear bad things about Duolingo, but I love Duolingo and it has benefited me significantly.
Started the Italian lessons and all I can say is wow, I wish I had started this way in the beginning. È fantastico!
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!! This is a game changer!!!!
Thanks for the recommendation! It is really good!
definitely the best app out there ❤️❤️ learning spanish here 🙏
I didn't know about this app, so thank you so much for this video.
I just started today and I agree it is the best
Finally, I find your video this is what exactly I want huhuhu sorry for the wrong grammar, I'm just wanna say thank you😊🥰
That’s so sweet of you, thanks so much💞
Yesss! Seeing some love for language transfer!!
more people need to know about it!!🤍
Thanks for mentioning Language Transfer. I plan to go through their German course. Great video!
Have u done that?
I love your channel! The videos are so helpful.
Thank you so much!!🤍
this made me more inspired, make more videos like this please i enjoyed it!
Wow I just subscribed to you thank you for this info and the app recommendation! So helpful
Thank you very much he has more sense and thinks like a student. Every teacher I’ve study with teached me like I know how to speak but he teaches while imagining your brain and what you as a 0 Spanish talker think
Thank you so much, your vid gave me big motivation to learn Spanish!
I’m so glad !!!🥰
kudos for promoting language transfer, i recently found it by taking up swahili, never looked back!
I really is the best! Love that you’re doing Swahili btw, so cool!
General Linguistics released Bueno Entonces a few years back and it is a lot like the Language Transfer. It was a conversation between teacher and student. It also had a bit of a story to it to make it a little like a soap opera. It also had interventions to explain grammar segments as time went on. Really good. Thanks for sharing about this one though.
I loved the Bueno Entonces course! It was really fun to learn. After the 30 lessons (5 weeks) I was able to talk in Spanish and read a book.
Thank you for useful recommendation!! I will use it for learning French and German
really great information. thanks emi
sounds amazing, gonna try it. Thanks
I'm glad that Language Transfer is getting more love.
It deserves it all and much much more! Thanks for the comment!:)
Good video of an app that I didn’t know about sounds like a good addition to my Spanish journey
Love this! Thank you so much. Love that you were straight to the point and didn’t keep us waiting until the end. *3yrs later and it still only has the languages that you mentioned. Really is a shame
Thanks for the recommendation! This sounds like the Michel Thomas method, he doesn't teach a language so much as gently remind you that you already know it.
This sounds very similar to a series of French lessons on CD by Michel Thomas called Total French. Similar format with students and teacher and also uses common cognates and emphasizing no memorizing. I am not sure who came first but I found the format useful but also use other methods and apps in my pursuit of a language acquisition. I will check out LT but it sounds like French has only a few lessons.
Definitely subscribing.. thank you so much for recommending this app
Thank you:) and I'm so happy that this video introduced LT to you!
@@emigrace thank you so much and love you ❤
If this is anything like the Michele Thomas Method then it's probably great. The Michele Thomas Method cut my learning time down by about 7 years. The book Madrigal's Magic Key to Spanish teaches English to Spanish conversion methods also helped me immensely. It categorizes words into 5 different groups depending on the word ending and teaches you how to convert the word.
I'm listening to it now and it is in fact just like the method that Michele Thomas created. It's a great method to learn and I'm baffled that more teachers don't follow his example.
exactly! I don't get why schools/institutions haven't converted to this method!
This sounds almost exactly like the book, "Open Doors To Spanish" by Margarita Madrigal. It's an amazing book for 1st day newbies - beginner/intermediate level.
Didn’t know LT was a thing till your video got recommended to me.. I’m down to download it lol. And look through the rabbit hole that is your channel 😅
Hahahahaaa I guarantee that you’ll find LT useful and hope that you get some entertainment out of this channel!🤞🏼😂
I love the way you smile ❤
