  • I have mine since 2 week and I was waiting someone to put a review on this ! Glad you make it !! If you check on the sheet that came with its write that the stock nozzle are 4.4 but in reality they ship 4.6 nozzle you can check on the nozzle directly ( I have talked with active and they gonna update the sheet ) so because it’s 4.6 instead of 4.4 , stock you got 1000psi and 2.28gpm ( I have made all test , I even check with a 3.5 nozzle and the psi is 1400 Psi at 2.12 gpm but I have dedicated 20 amp breaker so I can crank the machine ) instead of 1100psi and 2.3 gpm that they mention . • The build quality appears to be very good so far. Though I believe these are made in China, they seem to have sourced quality parts and production. Time will tell how it holds up. In my market, the Kranzle machines start at $1650 before tax so double the cost. That said, the Kranzle will last pretty much forever if maintained properly (even in a commercial setup) Where as this guy does not look like it has very much maintenance you could do on it. In one of their videos, one of the head guys at Active mentions that they will make parts available for this machine incase you need to do a rebuild on it. As far as performance specs goes, based on what I’ve seen on KZhead, this thing might even outperform the Kranzle. I’ll be installing a 100ft hose pretty soon, hopefully that doesn’t kill the pressure.

    • @@don.newlon I don’t think Active will have to worry about people necessarily choosing a Kranzle over their product because the Kranzle buyers are totally different demographic in my opinion. I think Active will have to worry about the Big boi Wash R pro which is coming to North America at a similar price, similar specs, similar quality, better accessories, serviceable unit, and a 10 year warranty on the pump.

      @TheCarDetailingChannel@TheCarDetailingChannelАй бұрын
    • Not sure I agree that Kranzle buyers are a totally different demographic. What's the why behind that? Separating out actual professional detailers, what I see are a lot of car-guy-prosumers buying the Kranzle for their because they are convinced by OG "it's the best". From a product point of view, what made Kranzle the best was the performance, sound, great total-stop (which active's 2.0 also has), longer-life design, rebuild-ability. This 2.3 product needs some reviewers to confirm, but probably takes 4 of those 5 items off the table, leaving this buyer segment to decide if the rebuild-ability is worth the nearly 2x price. Of course, if someone is also some kind of Kranzle brand snob, then there is that motivation, but I'm a product guy.

    • They almost did things correctly with the accessories. The 40ft hose is actually really good. What’s annoying is the fact that you can go on Amazon right now and get a cheap foam cannon and short gun for like a hundred bucks total. Those would work so much better than the factory accessories they include

      @TheCarDetailingChannel@TheCarDetailingChannelАй бұрын
    • At 600$ the accessories should already be high enough quality to last more than three uses before malfunction lol. Otherwise, great unit.

      @YTDopeFPS@YTDopeFPSАй бұрын
    • I actually completely agreed with this and then gave it some thought. It probably doesn’t make sense to sell it for x amount of money more when it’s more likely at least a semi experienced detailer buying this, who would already have the necessary accessories. So making it cheaper just makes it a better sell. Beginners on the other hand probably don’t mind too much about the accessories, and it’s on par with all the other brands. It would be nice though if they could sell a package that included better accessories, but as a consumer, I’d prefer to buy my accessories separately depending on what I want.

Their gun isn’t going to be as good as an MTM, Mosmatic, etc. neither is their foam cannon, hose, wands, etc. and $75 extra won’t get the quality you’d expect either. The mega dollar Kranzle’s aren’t even as good. At this price point most people are going to upgrade to the good aftermarket stuff.

    • I’m not too sure about the big boi but their website, I think they list max gpm at 2.3. There’s a couple of guys on KZhead that will be doing direct comparisons between the two

    @gearlstrickland3365@gearlstrickland3365Ай бұрын
    • The 2.0 was rated for 200 so I’d imagine that this would be rated at significantly more. Especially with that induction motor. For an enthusiast/weekend warrior like me, I’d expect to get at least 5 years of problem free usage (used 2 to 3 times a week max)

    • @@TheCarDetailingChannel I spoke to Active and they told me that we can expect 500 hours and then they will have a replacement pump. No pricing on that right now. Seems that the AR 630TSS might be a better bet. Totally serviceable and only a few hundred more. Thoughts?

  • Just hooked up my 100ft mtm hose and it runs beautifully!! No issues at all. Thanks Active Team for chiming in ! Two updates for you all since the making of this video: 1: Yesterday, I go to use the unit and so I fired up the pressure wash like normal and I ran for about 5 seconds before the TSS kicked in shut the unit off. (Currently trying to troubleshoot) 2: I connected my 50ft flexzilla hose and now I’m noticeing a slight ramp up to full pressure when pulling the trigger. I hoping it doesn’t get any worse when I hook my 100ft mtm hose. If you are interested in this unit, Carzilla has it in stock at the time of this video. Check it out here. carzilla.ca/products/active-2-3-electric-pressure-washer?ref=Tg5JZODH&variant=43408229630129

Then back to the 50 ft Flexzilla and same thing again where it ran for a good 5 seconds on initial start up. I’ll try to make a video asap showing this but been so busy with work lately

    • @@TheCarDetailingChannel I have had longer ramp ups and ramp downs with my Active 2.0 product when using an Uberflex for some reason. If I run my 50ft 3/8 hose no problems. It will even surge until I spray one more time with the Uberflex. There has to be a difference in inner diameter somewhere between your 40ft and the Uberflex that is causing the pressure relief switch to freak out.
