There’s fallout over that teary traffic stop involving supermodel Gisele Bundchen. The drama unfolded last Wednesday. The 43-year-old says she was being followed by paparazzi. The officer told her he could not prevent paparazzi from doing their job, which is to take pictures. Now, the mayor of Surfside, Florida, is criticizing the cop who pulled Bundchen over. He says, in his opinion, the officer should have done more to help the mom of two who was clearly in distress.
Well if it would have been me I'd have gotten a ticket.
She is clearly entitled. She drives a G-wagon
Paparazzi?
Exactly! What is wrong with these entitled people? First the New-York DA, now her? That mayor is a joke! 🙄He just wants an invite to her private island 🏝️ 😂🙄
Or probably arrested depending on the long list the cops carry.
@@arabesquejacob8176like I told the last person the mayor said he wants his law enforcement to protect/understand a bigger problem a person would be having, she wasn’t crying because of the tickets she was crying because she wanted the officer to help her get the person following to not follow her, and she’s stressed she never declined the ticket or anything.
I think the cop was just doing his job. They made him out to be the bad guy and he treated her like any other person. All he knows is that she was probably speeding or ran a red light (of course Inside Edition doesn't tell us that) so he pulled her over. I'm not saying she doesn't have the right to be upset, but what is he suppose to do? The paparazzi has always taken pictures of people in a public setting. Plus, we all have cell phones and take pictures. Just because she's a celebrity he still has to investigate and write a ticket.
That is an objective opinion. Couldn't agree more
What's with these flash news that leaves more questions than answers?

She literally thanked the officer for the ticket she didn’t mind it. Then she wanted the officer to help her because someone is clearly doing an act of harassment, she is absolutely not explaining the reason towards why she was speeding to get the ticket off of her (she’s explaining that she was speeding because there is someone following her and she needs help) which is why the mayor wants law enforcement that can help and understand citizens according to law.
If that were anybody else it wouldn't have made the news. The mayor wouldn't have cared. Only due to being a celebrity. She's an actor and can cry on command.
She’s a model not actress
@@jayroc5807 She's too old to be a model now
She was a supermodel not actor😂😂😂 get your facts straight before you try to bash somebody
I guess she should have a bodyguard driving her. I think being persued by the paparazzi can be scary, and she is upset and probably shouldn't have been driving at that time.
If it were anybody else, a regular person like you, you wouldn’t be getting chased by paparazzi Lol you can’t judge her if you’ve never been in that situation
This is ridiculous! Who she is doesn't matter whatsoever!! If she's breaking traffic laws, she deserves to be pulled over & possibly get a ticket! Was the officer supposed to give her a hug wish her a happy day??
What is ridiculous is that the officer neglected to show compassion and exercise discretion in this matter. The woman was obviously distressed and that is a fact that must be considered. Who she is does matter. She does not deserve a ticket. Maybe the officer should have given her a hug.
@@christopherzhou5361 Being distressed would be a normal reaction to be pulled over. I get distressed too! But that doesn't change the fact that he pulled her over because she was doing the wrong thing. Being famous doesn't mean that you should be treated any differently than the average person doing the same thing she did! I'm not saying she's a bad person. People make mistakes. The mayor is an a$$, the cop was just doing his job. Why should she get special privileges.
The police is right just bc youre a billionaire doesnt mean you van break laws. She couldve killed someone and expect to be pardon bc a pap was takin her pics🫠
You talk, have you ever get overwhelmed? So much that you cannot think right?
Yes, she could have killed someone because she wouldn't be able to think clearly out of the stress caused by the paparazzi. Stop defending those highly paid stalkers.

She chose that life. Keeping paparazzi away from her is not the tax payers responsibility. I hope they get a new mayor who understands that.
100%. A Law Enforcement Officer's job is to enforce the law, not babysit.
The mayor didn’t say anything about that 💀, he said the cop could’ve reassured her which is part of their responsibilities, to keep people calm in distress. The mayor didn’t say anything about not ticketing the woman either. He really only said to just ensure she feels protected.
so she choosed to get stalked? and explain to me what the difference between a stalker and a paparazzi is.
@@aaniyapatel72551:24 The mayor said the cop should have told her that he was there to protect her.

cop cant do anything. If he would have broken the law to help her he would be in trouble but when they follow the law people still get mad wtf do yall want him to do

He said nothing he could do, but he did do something. He made the paparazzi leave.
While I think she embarrassed herself and should have taken the ticket, It's funny how a woman can't just exist being successful and choose to be single without being hated by some men. Brady had moved on, and so did Gisele. The way people keep trying to bring him into this says more about you than about him or her, in my opinion.
If I were her, I would have just taken the ticket.
I dont care what the pap does it doesn't give you green light to speed, disobey traffic signals or drive recklessly.
where does it say she was doing any of that? Lol
It’s legal to take pictures. You have no reasonable expectation of privacy anywhere public because it’s public.
Super rich gets away with excuses....she blames others for her driving recklessly....this type of behavior is not accepted if regular people try it...cops will not care and write you ticket anyway.
You’re not really concealing yourself by driving that $200K G Wagon either. Get a Civic or Camry.
Thats life in celebrity world.
Right! These people knew full well what life was like for famous people. They wanted to be in that club.
The cop should have looked for the paparazzi people who were following her and arrested them for stalking.
The mayor needs to go!
Whoever says she still gets a ticket is a police dishonor, because not every patrolman gives tickets for speeding, but just a warning.
It is frustrating to hear "I cannot do anything about that" from someone whose job is to keep everyone safe. This police officer lacks empathy. Now I am thinking 🤦♀️ Is empathy inate or learned? If learned, Is it a hard trait to learn? 🤔 I ask because I have so much empathy in me that I often get used and taken advantaged of.
She could be living it up in her country Brazil 😮
No, she couldn't! She is one of the most known faces in Brazil as well as the world. There's nowhere she could have gone that she could live a normal life.
Sucks to be in that position. Women in particular will get stalkers on a daily basis only to be told by cops there’s nothing they can do 😮💨😢sad.
Instead of saying nothing he can do about it, he should have reassured and calmed her of her distress.
Wow, so they thirst for fame and wealth but don't want the cons that come with it and should be an exception to laws? Sorry Gisele, part of your life is fame and that comes with paparazzi

They would prefer to lie to her to make her less distraught😂 it’s paparazzi, be irrelevant if you don’t want attention. The cop ain’t do nun wrong
Don’t these celebrities tip off the Paparazzi?
I feel like even if she is in distress the officer was not in the wrong do I believe he could’ve handled that better yes but she also shouldn’t be speeding to “escape”someone if it so bad that you have to speed you should just go to the nearest police station
Well the mayor is a typical politician, he wanted the officer to lie, and he's giving a false sense of security. I feel for Giselle, but at the same time she should be used to it. This is what she signed up for when she became a supermodel.
I’m rich and famous, boo hoo, poor me

At least this officer is being honest..Unlike some police make up a story..
Boo hoo! Your famous, this is what you wanted. Stop being a crybaby Giselle
If these people didn’t want to live life in the public eye then why did they become famous? I just don’t get it.
Boo Effen Hoo
She's one of the top 10 richest models at a networth of over 500 million and she can't afford security???? No one asked her to be famous, she knew what she was getting into so hire security and stop embarrassing yourself!!
The mayor wouldn’t be so sympathetic if she wasn’t a ‘somebody’ (I personally have no idea who she is but some clearly do). The policeman was doing his job and treating her like he would everybody else.
Oh! Boo Hoo! I really feel sorry for her. To quote Lisa Marie Presley when she mocked famous people who were ungrateful: "I'm rich and famous, and I hate it." Lisa Maria understood how lucky and privileged famous individuals were to have the level of opportunity, privilege, and wealth they have. Loved her. She stated this during an Oprah interview for all those who would like to look it up.
This piece of so-called journalism is a gross example of how much the media caters to celebrity and entitlement status. This officer was nothing but respectful and completely within his duties.
Proud of the mayor for standing up!
Why hes wrong.

Standing up? The cop did his duty. This mayor is just saying this because of who she is. Would he do the same for you? For me? Probably not.

She was trying to get out of a ticket.
..... wish the mayor took it a step further and said exactly what action needed to be taken after reassuring her. Whether it's for that city, county or state. Think it's a situation that definitely shows gaps. The aggressor has more rights and protection than the person being hunted just trying to go on their day.🥺 Hope Giselle pushes for a change with what actions can/could be taken to protect people.❤ A long over due discussion needs to be had. No one should feel like this. Feeling like she isnt protected and can never be safe bcz of the paparazzi. I understand the heat the cop is getting. I do think it's a bigger issues than him. Yes his response isnt ideal but also know people with that tough love. They're allowed to be that way. In many ways definitely helps keep a person grounded and emotions in check.
Im sure the fortune is wonderful, but the fame seems to be such a headache.
Since the officer pulled her over for trying to get away from the paparazzi, i can assume that she was speeding & possibly ran red lights
But it's not the cop's job to protect people. Supreme Cort said so.
