  • At first, I thought that the baby was going to be put into the sculpture, as a resting place, and that attacking those who stop looking at it would be its revenge for not being watched closely enough. It would also make the instances of defecation make sense, as the baby wasn't potty trained.

SCP Explained has been a huge let down for a few months at least, and I thought Dr Bob was going to start following their trend of videos, but he saved it with this one. This was great. • That’s actually pretty ingenious hiding a dead body within a sculpture. And to exhibit the corpse/piece; honestly I’m surprised that some murderer hasn’t tried this before.

  • You weren't kidding about this story being sad. This Sculpture of Violence was the Vengeful Spirit of a Man who didn't want to be a Father. If he had just cared for his Son, none of this would've happened. He, his Wife and his Son are dead with the Man reanimated into a Golem of Hatred and Violence, all because he didn't want a Child. All he had to do was accept reality, that he is a Father. How hard is that?

  • I think the reason why SCP-173 kills when you look away for even a second, is symbolic of how she looked away, and in that time he killed the child.
