Following an unfortunate accident on the streets of Bangkok, the Mercedes-Benz S500 (W222) underwent repair work, specifically to replace its quarter panel. To ensure precision and adherence to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications, the car was carefully placed on a Celette Sevenne bench with the aid of Universal fixtures known as Cameleon. This not only guaranteed that the car's structure remained within the prescribed OEM specifications, but also provided additional anchoring support during the repair process. The versatile Cameleon system can serve multiple functions: as a measuring tool, as a template for accurately replacing parts, and as a reliable anchoring mechanism to securely fasten the car to the bench during the pulling processes.

In 1953 Germain Celette invented the world's first car straightening bench / frame machine / frame rack for repairing unibody, later also SUV's, commercial vehicles, trucks, buses and trams. Frame machine/ Frame rack: with its famous bench Sevenne, Celette provides to the Collision center the best straightening equipment with several working lengths, with single or multiple lifts or on wheels. OEM approved measuring systems: Car Data base is also one of Celette's main goals. We have the original 3D CAD drawings from most of the automotive OEM so we collect data in order to provide the collision repair industry the best and most accurate car database. The measuring tools are the METRO 2000 measuring system, the NAJA 3D measuring system which is an electronic measuring system or computerized measuring system, and the EAGLE, which is a laser computerized measuring system.
Universal jig systems: with the MZ system Celette provides the choice between dedicated jigs and universal jigs. Our patented universal jig solution CAMELEON is the latest Celette product developed by our R&D department which is used in collaboration with our NAJA database that is the largest in the world. You can measure and repair most of the brands and models of cars with our online computerized measuring system database. Collision work is an art to do it and make it look like factory. I took allot of pride in my work and enjoyed the work. I wish I were still able to do it for a living.     • Hi there, thank you for watching and for you comment. In this repair the Celette bench was used together with Universal system CAMELEON. Cameleon is a fixture system, its datasheets are based on original 3D OEM data, guaranteeing that all the points where the car is anchored are within the specs requested by the OEM. Cameleon can be used as a measuring tool, as a template for spare parts replacement, and as additional anchoring.

  • Der Mann macht eine sehr guten Job , doch auch hier wieder .... nur Brandschutzdecken und keine ordentliche Abdeckung der noch vorhandenen Inneneinrichtung. Und sehr schlimm das Mercedes hier nicht die Vorschriften ändert in Hinsicht schweißen. Das Punktschweißen ist etwas anderes ... da dort nur minimal erhitzt wird . Doch wenn ganze Fugen verschweißt werden , so sind dort Rost und somit Schäden vorhersehbar

  • Le problème c’est qu’avec ce genre d’équerre il peut difficilement tirer vers le bas ! L’équerre à vérin vecteur est 10 fois mieux ..car elle vas dans ts les sens et elle a la même puissance en bas qu’en haut .. 12 tonnes , ce qui n’est pas le cas ici !!!
