  • In all the videos I saw all the people seem truly happy like you never see it; people cheering, crying, kissing. It's like a huge reminder that we are just pieces of nothing on a huge sphere rotating around an even larger sphere in the immensity of space that we have no clue why it even exists so you might just as well enjoy the moment.

    • I haven’t seen anything like that since the night I died. I’ve been emotional and inspired ever since, and I don’t know why. It just made me feel incredible. I’m near Texarkana, so in Texas, that makes us neighbors. So consider that we watched it together. Judging by your playlist, I think we have several things in common. Just add one more, total eclipse. I’m trying to figure out when and where to go to see the next one because it moved me that much.

  • The actual fun part is the light on the ground surface. As the sun crescent gets very slim, the light on the ground turns into a somehow eerie grey shade for a few minutes, then a cold white a few minutes, then dark, then cold white and that grey shade again. The light on the ground it's almost normal brightness during this time but if you look up at the sun, its light is *extremely* intense cold white, much more than its normal brightness. That's the part where you need special glasses if you want to observe the sun. In normal time. sun light on the ground is warm - a slightly yellow white, but during the slim crescent it turns into a cold white - just like the light from LED 5000k bulb. That's the interesting part. This change in light color on the ground lasts about 20 minutes. Once the crescent gets slightly larger, the light on the ground gets normal again. The whole overlapping lasts quite longer, over 1h or so but only about 20 min are interesting to see. Seen in Montreal 2024, sky pretty clear

    • Yes!! For those who don’t know, Jesus will fulfill you more than anything in this world, I speak from experience (from when i did Romans 10:9-13), he loves you and wants to be in a meaningful (not romantic) relationship with you. :) “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬-‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭1‬:‭15‬ ‭KJV‬‬ If you want proof that Jesus and the Bible are true look a documentary called “Ron Wyatt discoveries 2022” on KZhead and a KZhead channel called Expedition Bible. They both examine archeological sites and discoveries that prove the Bible, and even reference secular sources. (Just don’t convert to 7th day Adventism after watching the documentary) And lastly if you don’t know the gospel and want to be saved search up “abc’s of Salvation Teenmissions” on Google and it should be the first or second result. When you click on it read the whole thing, and do what it says and have faith in Jesus while you are doing it, do not doubt, and if it is hard for you to do what it says, ask Jesus to help you, have faith that he will, and *he will.* God Bless :)

But of course if you are going to look at the sun from the moment the moon start to block it, and until it have passed by, then for sure you will need protection. Personally i would only be interested in that 1 minute or so when the eclipse are full.

The warning is for people who bought cheap glasses thinking they can stare for minutes on end till it’s over.

Today's will be my third. Of course I will go outside to take a peek but for the life of me, I do not understand the hype and almost hysteria of so many.
