  • About 55 years ago when I was little my uncles used to take my sister and I on an airplane ride on Christmas Eve at my grandmother’s house. We were blindfolded and they basically did this with an ironing board. Someone turned on a hand mixer for the engine sound, my uncles lifted and shook the ironing board until someone tapped us on the head with a big book and then with much encouragement and applause by my parents and may other aunts and uncles, we jumped. We could never figure it out but we loved it!!
