  • It's absolutely fascinating how much you can do on these systems on a military craft. It's also fascinating how they can link all the different systems together. So like your way points on your map....are showing your your ground radar scan. No wonder some of these aircraft need 2 people in them. There's so many systems and things you can do that someone is there specifically for using all of them. You guys are doing so good on this aircraft. The realism is off the charts.

  • Nice info there that we can set an aircraft with no embedded GPS in the ME. Is this just referencing DCS setting the mission date to before around March 28th 1994 means no GPS ? Or is it a checkbox in the aircraft's editor settings that removes the EGI?

  • The fact that the GMT mode actually picks up moving civil traffic already makes this a vastly superior AG radar to anything ED has put out. Unless they did a big update recently, the F-16 GMT mode was only picking up vehicles that were placed in the mission editor, and ignored civil traffic entirely. But it's been a few months since I've flown it; if they've fixed that, great.

    • No that's still the same. I suspect it's intentional as well - the amount of clutter here is crazy, civ traffic as-is is just too basic an implementation to make sense with hunting convoys - for a start they shouldn't be able to go through tanks.

  • 18:00 It occus to me that "Sp" stands for "SnowPlow", because the cursor is latched to the center of the screen similiar to the snow plow mode of TGP or RDR in other modules.

    • I was about to comment this too. SP could indeed be snowplow. Although the button does cycle through steerpoints so who knows. But when it latched to the center when it turned to SP again I immediately thought of snowplow.

    • No, they have clearly stated there is only 3 buttons the front won’t have from the backseat. You can do everything in the front that the back can do.

  • I'm starting to feel like I'm being fooled by RAZBAM. Baltic Dragon already wants missions with the F-15E. To date, Steam users have not been able to get the pre-order with a discount. A release date is still a long time coming. RAZBAM is slowly making itself very unbelievable and not only fooling you users of DCS, but also itself.
