Learning English Podcast - Saudi EVs, Apple Security, Mars Water

On Today's podcast, Dan Novak and Ashley Thompson host the show while Dan tells listeners what they are going to hear.
First, John Russel has a report about Saudi Arabia's efforts to develop an electric vehicle industry. Saudi Arabia has one of the world's largest oil reserves, but it also is trying to become a player in the highly competitive international electric vehicle (EV) market.
Then, Jill Robbins has a report about a new security feature offered by Apple which aims to make it more difficult for bad actors to hack or steal people's devices and information. The features reportedly depend on biometric security features. That means that getting into Apple devices might depend on physical measurements of parts of people's bodies which might change over time.
Then, on the Science Report, Bryan Lynn reports on research that might have found a huge supply of water near the equator of Mars. The possible discovery was made with radar obeservations by the Mars Express Orbiter. The water ice is believed to be stored in layers deep underground. Water ice is believed to be common near Mars' poles, but until now, no one believed that was a lot of frozen water close to the Martian equator.
After that, Bryan discusses details of the report including how the orbiter was able to find evidence of water from space.
Finally, Andrew Smith and Jill Robbins talk about way to connect sentences and the use of the word 'either.' Then, Dan and Ashley sign off.
