Botswana featuring Letsile Tobogo (300m world record holder) and South Africa featuring Wayde van Niekerk (400m world record holder) qualify for Men's 4x400 Relay at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris competing the 2024 World Athletics Relays in the Bahamas.
France and India's second leg runners pulled up with injuries within seconds of each other and their teams couldn't finish. However, they will get another chance to qualify on Day 2 but it takes them out of the Final that will be used for seeding the teams at the Olympic Games

Hey bro was was Dominic sailson running in this race?
Tebogo got the baton in 7th and passed it in 1st with a 43.4 leg. Crazy!
Tebogo is such a talent. He can compete in all the sprints from 100m to 400m and will probably run a good 800m as well
Second
Nene of South Africa got him at the end; but that was truly an impressive leg. He had to be very aggressive down the back stretch to get his team back into contention. Nene was the only one that followed him after he passed the pack; and then he passed him at the very end to hand off first.
@@drtslim South Africa and Botswana were sixth and seventh respectively from their first leg runners. Both Zakithi and Tebogo ran good times on the second leg. Makwala and Isaacs need to step it up in the final.
That young man is the real freaking deal
Thank you guys 🇧🇼🇧🇼 and the neighbouring country 🇿🇦
Thank you gents🇿🇦 and our neighbours🇧🇼 let’s go represent!
Great one🇧🇼🇧🇼🇿🇦🇿🇦
Sure BoPapa BW and ZA🎉🎉🎉
South Africa 🇿🇦
Aweh
Letsile Tebego ran a super leg.😮😮😮
@@Leonidas-eu9bbRight, especially since he got hawked🫢
Crazy speed
@@jamesj8047 He got hawked because he knew he had to get out fast in the first half of the race + he ran a 43.4 split. Do you really think that the SA second leg ran even close to that split?
@@boringlifeofateen 🤷🏾♂️
Proud of both South Africa and Botswana
Good to see Van Niekerk back in action! Let's go, from India!
Lol Tebogo just ran past the whole field like they were standing still what a great race very close lots of stars in this one Wade was outstanding also
Thnx guys we a proud of you 🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼 and our neighbors 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Ndori is the man!! Wow! BOTSWANA IS A LAND OF 400M
We thank God for beloved countrymen and our 4 x 400 🇧🇼 Team...thank you!!
That was Brilliant! Well Done South Africa and Botswana. We are bringing Medals home 🥇
They should drop Makwala. Man almost cost them that ticket if not for their second leg.
There's no argument Letsile Tebogo is a phenomenal prospect. At 20 years he already has a World Championship silver in the 100m, a World Championship bronze in the 200m and a world record in the 300m. His future is wide open for him to take
@forwardpass2725 He has lost every time he's faced Lyles and Knighton.
@@vernonfrance2974that's a different topic.
Tobogo is a different beast
@ChinBlingSkillaaachy Actually, he is a human. He has lost every time he's faced Lyles and Knighton.
He split 19.4 at 200, 30.4 at 300, then 43.4 for the whole thing.
That Letsile Tobogo leg. Can't wait to see his 200m at the Olympics
@watsonkambiambia180 Running the 400m so much will dull his speed.
Well done Botswana and South Africa.from neighbouring countrie Namibia
Well done team Botswana 🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼 And well done to our neighbors Team South Africa🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Letsile Tebogo in a 400m race is crazy, wow 👏👏
Thank you Mr Makwala, longevity personified. Please let the youngest shine you cannot fade at the Olympics we will get ruined
Exactly... he is good but its time for young blood now. Re batla Botswana le SA to reprent well. Whichever can get a medal i will be happy
@@molahli_koketso22 Only US can compete with us on the 400m relay. We got good sprinters for the 400m here in the Southern part of Africa. Samukonga is loading for the Zambians as well.
He is there to dampen the effect of back to back races for the team
What a good race! SA and Bots need to represent in the Olympics. Awesome talent.
Great battle, South 🇿🇦 and Botswana 🇧🇼 please.we put our trust on you!
Tebogo made it look like a pro ran against amateurs 😮
@ojiteclement5088 He has lost every time he's faced Lyles and Knighton.
@@vernonfrance2974 They are going to face each other again on May 25th, and this is going to win..
@@mphoshobo6947 Tebogo is used to lording it over less capable competitors but when he goes up against Lyles and Knighton he senses their superiority.
@@vernonfrance2974 I'll be back to this comment, after they race...
@@mphoshobo6947Good. I predict Lyles will win both the 100 and 200 and Tebogo will be second in the 100 and Knighton second in the 200.

Hold thumbs for South Africa in the Mixed 4x400 and Men's 4x100m as well as Botswana in the Mixed 4x400 and Women's 4x400m Day 2 races later today where they can also qualify for the Olympic Games, albeit not in seeded spots. BTW, Zambia is also in the Women's 4x400m and Men's 4x400m races today and can also qualify
Thank you Waide and team, Pillay im so proud of you.keep flying our South Africa flag 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤high

A lot of praise here going to Tebogo but Ndori ran a last leg of 43.95s against stiff competition to close out the race

Well Done South Africa... Super proud of you 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Congratulations SA n Botswana 🎉🎉
Watched it live!! Goosebumps all the way proud of you lads❤❤
Watch Nene beating Letsile in the finishing...
God saw it fit to comfort Botswana n South Africa after both countries experienced tragedies, SA 7 nationals perishing in RTA in Botswana n 45 Batswana nationals perished in SA a month apart, heart breaking how SA delegates brought the remains to Bots only to leave with some back to SA, but here they are, celebrating together, a 3 weeks to a month later, comforting indeed.
Botswana le Afrikaborwa well done😘😘😘😘😘😘
Bravo SA
I was waiting to see Tebogo’s running😍😍thanks for uploading
Only a pleasure
I'm confident of both teams we can challenge the USA, Poland, Bahamas and Belgium and Jamaica
Amazing, Mzansi is not bad hey. Looks like they're going to do great in Paris,
19.5 200m split for Tebogo. Insane!
Pillay and Ndori reminds me of Raymond Miller beating Americans London 2012
🇧🇼 🇿🇦 go Africa gooo
Ndori and Scotch arecoming into their own. Prospects with potential in the past like Baboloki Thebe did not get the chance to mature. But I especially have high hopes on Ndori to cement Botswana’s long term continued stake on Mens 400m Just hope Tebogo doesn’t exhaust himself carrying the country on his back
Letsile almost paid for blistering starting 200m in the end! I think if he really focused on 400m he's strength from it will definitely aid in his 200m!
Tebogo is an alien 👽 I swear🤞💪 Ke yone majita💯🔥,Wena Makwala ke a ngongorega🙆.,neighbours🫡🇧🇼🇿🇦💪👌
Van Niekerk is a strong finisher
Congratulations to both Botswana and South Africa ❤
Well done team Bots and team SA
Tebogo is Goat
@liamjohnson3247 He has lost every time he's faced Lyles and Knighton. To be the greatest of all time he needs to beat them all of the time.
Tebogo. is very talented running 4 different platforms, 400, 300, 200 and 100
South Africa and Botswana lovely

Botswana❤
South Africa 🫱🏾🫲🏽 Botswana
The commentator was just about to talk shit about Botswana
South Africa 🇿🇦 all the way! 🎉
Dissapointing for Wayde could have done better as the specialist
Proud of USA. They won today's competition for the ones that didn't win in the top two spots in their heats yesterday. Even though they didn't have that much competition they ran their race in 2:59.97 which is only .24 slower than Botswana and .21 slower than RSA even though these two pushed each other to their maximum limit. When Paris comes along we will put in a couple of faster runners. Tebogo will be worn out from competing in the 100m, 200m and 400m individual competitions and in the relay qualifications. Tebogo is skin and bones already and he'll be worn to a frazzle by then. He's only six months older than Knighton but his face looks about ten years older.
Tebogo is not running the opening 400m at Paris let alone the first round of the relays..he will run the final of the relays if we qualify! Tebogo is here to stay, skinny or frazzle he is lightweight and quick!as for looking older to that I say you are out of your fucking mind!
Damn Venom , you need a hug or something, what did Tebogo do to you ?
@@LesegoMakwatiYou are allowed to make accusations about my opinion being crazy but an objective look at the two shows that Tebogo looks much older. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letsile_Tebogo
@@thabisoranthokwane7207 I just don't go along with the idea that Tebogo is better than everyone else. Nothing against him personally and I believe he has made progress in that he does not showboat as much as he used to. I just think Tebogo has to prove it on the track, not in the court of public popularity. He's 6' and 159 lbs. while Knighton is 6'3" and 170 lbs. Lyles is slightly smaller at 5'11" and 154 lbs. Knighton gets out faster but both Tebogo and Lyles have great finishing kicks.
@@vernonfrance2974 You are the one making accusations about Tebogo and you there is no such thing as objective looks?what is the criteria for that?In that case Asinga looks older than Knighton? Fred and Kenny are older than their ages and Norman is 19 right? You cant spew garbage and label it objective
Wow🎉 Africa come through
Letsile Tebogo delivered that spot. Makwala should be replaced. Kudos RSA and Botswana
India had a good first leg, shame about the injury. And France too

About 43.49s
