  • Not just Anwer Maqsood has given this country so much but his legendary sister has a huge contribution in Urdu Adab, in fact his son Bilal Maqsood has given a lot to Pakistan music and how can we forget Zubaida apaa a household name of the country(may Alla rest her soul in peace).     • ​@raftartv Well the issue in Pakistan but not only in Pakistan also true for India is that there is immense hero worship. Which stifles any kind of critical discourse. Like if someone in UK would write a critical analysis of Shakespeare plays no one would ask. Can you write a play like Shakespeare. No they would accept or reject based on the criticism, ofcourse they also have their biases, but they wouldn't make it an emotional issue.

  • The problem with Shehzad Gias is that he acts entitled in a lot of ways. I saw his videos where he is critizing the country ..fair enough..but dont act as if nothing good has been done in the last 70 years. He behaves like a mr.know it all..for Adeel I can say he is a good writer but yeah have some respect for Anwar Maqsood sb. The world recognizes him as an renowned artist. Adeel I believe recently wrote a drama "Stand Up girl" which was full of plot holes so he can learn something from Anwar Maqsood sb

  • Although I am fan of both Chaudhary brothers (Mustafa and Murtaza) but these trio (Including) Ghias, They have issue with everyone, That is the reason after 20 plus in the industry, they are still struggling and begging for small roles in Shows like HER LAMHA PURJOSH or movies like Ishrat Made in China. Jis tarhan gaon main chaudhary apne sath bhand rakhte hain ta k wo apne hareef ko khud kuch na kahen lekin unke bhaand unko jugat karen isi tarhan hamari establishment ne is tarhan k bhaand rakhe hoe hain, so inki yehi auqat hai. Before this video I didn't even know who this Adeel 'fuzool' was, so these are merely barking dogs which are unknown as well

On ptv it was the first play on the loneliness and tragic life of aged couple whose children had left their homes for greener pastures. Naved Shehzad and Qavi Sahib played the characters. It was a revolutionary play. Never before such a story was told. Who can ever forget it??? It was timeless Then one play done by Rahat Kazmi and Huma Akbar " yeh kahan ki Doasti hai." Both are real close to my heart. One satirical play "Funooni Lateefe" written by Maqsood- real masterpiece! It was the slap on the pseudo artist and degradation , lack of appreciation, and prestige for artists and real artists in the societies. اور کون بھول سکتا ہے " ہاف پلیٹ" جیسے کمال ڈرامے کو۔ بہت افسوس یوا ۔ اپنے ہیروز کی ناقدری صرف ہمارے بدنصیب پاکستانی ہی کرسکتے ہیں۔ ایک ہیرو سیاستدان کو پھانسی لگا دی۔ ایک ہیرو سائنسدان کو گھر میں نظربند کر دیا تھا۔ ایک کپتان اور مقبول عام سیاسی لیڈر کو جیل میں سزا دے دی۔ اور اب ادب و ثقافت کے روشن نام کو اپنے اوچھے مذاق سے داغدار کر رہے ہیں۔ 14:26

  • My childhood is from mid 90s and i feel really blessed growing up watching such amazing artists like moin akhtar, anwar maqsood, shafi shah, talat hussain, kurban jillani and many more like them. These so called " artists "can not even be known by their neighbours if social media is not there. Their total talent is to spit shit and that's it.
