ROWAN & MARTIN'S LAUGH-IN 1967 Cast THEN AND NOW 2023, All the cast members died tragically!!
Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In (often simply referred to as Laugh-In) was an American sketch comedy television program that ran for 140 episodes from January 22, 1968, to March 12, 1973, on the NBC television network, hosted by comedians Dan Rowan and Dick Martin. It originally aired as a one-time special on September 9, 1967, and was such a success that it was brought back as a series, replacing The Man from U.N.C.L.E. on Mondays at 8 pm (ET). It quickly became the most popular television show in the United States.
You forgot Judy Carne how could you forget the sock it to me girl.
I was about 9 years old when Laugh In came on, I never missed an episode, it was so hilarious. Henry Gibson & Arte Johnson were my favorite characters, followed by Goldie Hawn & JoAnn Worley. I still love it. I put a few episodes on KZhead for my son to watch, he wasn’t as impressed. Kids what do they know, yet he loves Batman with Adam West! There’s no taste in this generation, thank goodness he loves Get Smart!
Was amazing to see the actors from the scow I watched as a little girl with my parents
A lot of the comments mention a big miss: Judy Carne. I'd also throw in Sammy Davis Jr. Not a cast member, but he was on the show so often that he could almost be a recurring cast member. Also Dave Madden and Richard Dawson.
The video ended too soon, leaving us deeply saddened…😉
I love that the narrator regrets to inform us that an actor passed away and is deeply saddened.
❤🎉
They were all Great...What memories they and God laughs they gave us all...Bless tm all!
Judy Karne, The "sock it to me" gal got left out. She was pretty funny. Loved that show.
Judy Carne 1939 to 2015 Rest in Peace .
It is on now on FIOS tv. Love it!
I noticed the omission as well. Carne ( who was once married to Burt Reynolds), had a very difficult life after she left "Laugh-In". From what I've heard, she struggled with drug and alcohol addiction. Tried to make it back into the spotlight, but was unable to achieve it. Her life really went in an opposite direction from other women who also appeared on "Laugh-In", such as Goldie Hawn.
I remember her on Love On a Rooftop. George Schlatter never forgave her for "breaking up the family."
@@chrisfreeman9960 Lily Tomlin pretty much replaced her midway through Season 3 and took off on her own. She'd been on THE MUSIC SCENE until the end of 1969, and I've seen some of her work there too on YT.
All of them are actually my favorite characters ever made on Rowan and Martin Laugh In Sock It To Me. What about Judy Carne she was actually a regular performer she was actually married to Burt Reynolds.
Why no Judy Carne? didn't she invent (Sock-It-To-Me)?
I Just Love them All. I am still watching Laugh -In everyday on ROKU.
Goldie Hawn is still alive thankfully & it was a great show with great comedic geniuses, the writers & costume department were the best
I used to watch that show every Monday night. Remember when Nixon came on and said, "Sock it to ME?"
WONDERFUL HAPPY GOLDEN MEMORIES ALL DECEASED MEMBERS OF CAST R I P AMEN ❤
They’re more regular performers in it. Why they didn’t show us?
Did I miss Judy Carne?
The video missed her.
I would have enjoyed this video IF it wasn't for the computer generated narration! UGH!!!
How about re-doing this without cutting off the end of their interviews.
All I think about is the backstage fun they must have had 🤣😂😅😆😅😂🤣
What happened to rest of the cast, their were a lot more people than that 😢😢
I. REMEMBER. MARTIN. & ROWEN. IT. WAS. THE. Q960. VERISION. OF. SNL. ON. MONDAYS😅😢😂😅😢😂😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😢😢😢😢
8:27 Judy carne the the SOCK TO ME GIRL , SHE WAS THE FIRST CAST MEMBER TO LEAVE THE SHOW in the third season put her on the next list!
I was an older teenager then. Right place ,! Right time ! Show. Not much else !;!
I actually met Lily Tomlin in 1979 at Lake Tahoe! She denied she was her but there was no doubt in my mind when she spoke! Nobody else has her voice! Nice lady!
Did you ask her "Have I reached the woman to whom I am speaking?"
@@elwoodblues9613 lol! 1 ringy dingy, 2 ringy singy and so on! She was hilarious 🤣
we regret to inform you ... leaving us deeply saddened
Loved that show when I was younger. Sure miss those days. SO many people on that show were my favorites, I can't pick just one!!! Ruth Buzzi lives in El Paso, unless she's recently moved. But her and her husband have a farm there. Last I heard she wasn't doing too well.
Hey pal, the deeply saddened line gets tiring to hear. Try something different.
I remember an episode where Dan was doing a " News of the Future" skit and said " Dancing in the streets , the Berlin wall's coming down ! " and about twenty years later , guess what !
Not to mention, "President Ronald Reagan" in 1988 during an early 1968 episode.
You missed Judy Carr.
Ruth Buzzi, Joanne Worley, Moose, Lily Tomlin and Willie Tyler are all alive and fine
Ruth Buzzi has had some health challenges lately, but she is still with us.
@@jehobden Yep, heard a rumor she’s had a stroke. She lives about 40 miles from me in Texas.
@@ralfie8801 I think that's about how far she lives from me too, if she's still in the DFW area.
@@jehobden Sort of, west and a bit south of there by 60 miles or so is where she is according to her wiki site.
جميل واكثر من رائع
I guess I’ll have to google Judy Carne to see if she’s still with us!!
Richard Dickman, Alan Sales, Joanne Woodward, Robert Johnson, Ruth Bassey? We regret to inform you your captions are all LOL
Grew up watching this show, never missed it. The scenes and short follow-ups are great. But the presentation is ruined by the narrator. Not fluent in English, repeats the descriptions and the "we regret to inform you", etc. Same as on every version of these compilations.
I'm glad I lived most of my life in this time period, even with all the social unrest of the era. Today there are billionaires manipulating trillions of $ to the detriment of the U.S. , trying to make everyone equal in their global world with them as the rulers.
Gary Owens was also the announcer for the first few episodes of "The Gong Show," until Chuck Barris took over the role--and pretty much the whole show--himself.
He was also the voice of Roger Ramjet.
@@8avexp and the Blue Falcon
And the voice of Space Ghost
@@8avexpI didn't know that.
Such a great, memorable voice matched with sarcastic humor.
Who wrote the dialouge, a3rd grader?
Who is the elderly person on the right before this video starts?
Judy Carne????????????????????????????????
Who was the person in the cowboy hat on the add for this? I didn’t see that
😊Subscribing! Thank you.I enjoyed this video.
Click Bait. Some characters are still alive.
Very Very Irritating Commentator voice!!
OK except for the fairy narrator. Get rid of him.
Sock it to me!
I'll have the pork fried rice and Won Ton.
Do you choose these AI voices for how completely stupid and inappropriate they are? I mean, my god that was bad.
WHO THE HELL PUT THIS TOGETHER. THE CONSTANT INTERUPTIONS OF THE ACTORS IN THE MIDDLE OF A SENTENCE IS OBNOXIOUS. NO MORE OF THIS CRAP FOR ME!!!
THE NARRATOR IS SO BAD, IT RUINED THE EXPERIENCE!!! MISPRONOUNCIATIONS AND FAST TALKING, MADE THE VIDEO SUCK!!! SICK OF HEARING ON ALL THE INSINCERE "LEAVING US DEEPLY SADDENED". CAN'T YOU DO BETTER???? THIS GUY NEEDS TO GET A JOB!!
