Giant Black Bear SHOT Right Before Dark | BIG BEAR BONZAI | Bear Wars
While Aaron was making the 7-mile trek back to the truck to get his delicious bear meat and bear hide on ice, Tyler and the Top Priority Hunting boys glass up a giant Cinnamon boar tromping across a steep, green, south-facing slope 2 miles out. Exhausted, Aaron eventually finds his way back to the rest of the crew in the early afternoon as they decide to take the voyage across a giant, deep drainage to get closer to the big Cinnamon. At this point, Aaron was running on fumes and experiencing his own episode of past exertion as he was unable to catch up for the kill shot.
Just after cresting the top of the drainage, and with the sun quickly setting, the crew spots the big Cinnamon along with a giant black bear the size of a choo-choo train. They decide the black bear is in a more killable spot than the Cinnamon - so Tyler, Garrett, and Justin decide to Bonzai down the canyon in a full spring to get into shooting position in hopes of beating the setting sun.

It is very strange how hunting Bears and Wolves really gets people upset. People don't realize the overall wildlife management strategy behind it. I attribute much of the ant-hunting to the humanization of animals in movies/TV shows.
Amen James, that's one of the exact reasons we did this project. Hopefully, it brought light to some that have been confused or unlearned.

What bipod are you guys running? Do you recommend it?

I was just wondering how much meat you get off a bear? Seemed like very little for the size but i have never bear hunted so i have no idea.
It obviously depends on the size of the bear - you will see Friday on Episode 3 that Tyler's bear had a TON of meat on it. Aaron's bear from Day 1 didn't have near as much as Tyler's.
