All through the build up to this fight, I've seen Dillian Whyte displaying behaviour I've witnessed so many times. You mainly see it from fighters who have fought at a high level and now find themselves in a crossroads fight. Most times the fighter hasn't got much, if anything left. So they look for small victories and try to intimidate everyone into believing it. Nine out of ten times, that fighter loses.

Not sure if the gloves have been worn, but to me the padding does look different. Both put the alternative fly gloves and then no issue.

There are different type of gloves, with different type of padding. Horse hair gloves always look worn, even FRESH out of the pack, that’s just how they are.

Franklin is a decent mover and throws alot of punches I'm just not convinced by his power and he's been buzzed by guys who are not on the same level as Whyte.... I think he will try and go for it the first few rounds then slowly fade away with Whyte finishing him off late on... He will be dangerous early on though

Would agree that the sealing on the gloves looks a bit cheap and weak. Very easily opened and closed but they are not worn, if worn enough to move padding it would be quite visible, not debatable
If team Whyte made the gloves excuse after the fight we would all ask why he didnt bring it up now. So they are right adressing these concerns. Franklin has never fought at this level so is staying humble. IF...and he definitely has a chance, he wins I bet Franklin's attitude will change

Have to agree, for the amount of money they are moving with this match, the gloves selection really looked amatourish, and I don't mean the behaviour of the 2 teams, but the whole procedure. Let's get a nice box full of gloves, some sealed in a way the others in a different way (but still sealed tbh), let the fighters put their hands in the box pick and chose and argue. How do you verify if the accusations (that are tbh a bit silly) are founded? "Ehi gloves dude were they all sealed? Yes? Cool enough!"
