Their spirit, enthusiasm and love for cricket, the way they both were playing, it reminded me of my childhood when I used to play cricket in my terrace, in my neighbor's terrace, in the roads, in the village, in my cousin's house, and I also had the same zeal whether it was batting or bowling, so nostalgic, tears fell from my eyes, I hope the boys in this video are doing great now in their life.

  • I think that first run out chance (at 1:49, that shows the best time frame) was out. The bails had been dislodged just before he got back in the crease. Tough call but I think it was out.

    • Nah, at 1:49, the ball has hit the stumps when he's about 3cm out. I know, very small margin, but I reckon he was out. I've got it paused on 1:49 and the ball has hit the stumps before he gets his bat in. Only just out, but there's a definite frame shot of the bat being out when the stumps get smashed with the ball. If only the stumps lit up........ But yes, if you can't get the frame I'm on, then it is hard to tell whether he's safe or out.

    • It'd be easier to tell if they had zing bails. But there's a still shot which shows the bails being dislodged from the stumps (at this point, zing bails would light up upon contact with the ball) and he's about 5cm out of the crease. But it's a very had shot to pause it at.

  • Once me and my maternal uncle were playing cricket in summer on a high levelled ground and he eliminated the rules of "out over fences and the person who will hit out of ground will bring ball too". He hit sixes 3 times and I hit atleast 20 times and match was stopped bcoz he was very tired and he fell ill that night.
