Says "oh no! I need Iridium rods! We have to wait for the Advanced Crafting Station!" Then proceeds to overlook 3 iridium rods in his chests. Lol.

Standard tuber blindness. It drives comment interactions to feed the algorithm.
You have a backpack and oxygen tank upgrade you can build. Plus your flashlight.
First thing in the video - "Tier 3 oxygen tank. My gosh! We need all the upgrades!". Never made one. Later "Tier 3 heaters will be hughe as well", unlocking Tier 3 heaters. "Requiers Iridium rods! That's right".... failing to see the 3 Iridium rods he already have in the storage boxes, so never made one of those either. I am enjoying these videos :)
I think I've watched too many of these videos, I expect stuff like that to happen in every one. 😁
Dont forget about the secret cave where the lake will be. You have to deconstruct the wall. From your base facing the lake it is on the side.
Tip, when you delete a ladder and get stuck inside you can rebuild the ladder up and exit from the roof.
He didn't have the materials they glitch through the wall
His inventory was full so I think he lost the cobalt needed to rebuild the ladder, the resources for the ladder deposited in the room below. You have to get in the habit of scrolling after you deconstruct, but even after hundreds of hours in the game I still accidentally deconstruct stuff. I've thought it would be nice if the tool automatically switched away from deconstruct but that would be more annoying when you want to do a bunch of rebuilding and need to deconstruct a bunch of stuff.
@@MartysRandomStuff Surely it should work to hold down Ctrl to chain deconstructions, just like it chains construction.
@@urkerab Yes, that would be a good solution. Have it auto switch out of deconstruct mode unless you are holding ctrl.

You should check the hidden cave in the lake basin where the dead body and a chest are located before the lake fills. There's a golden chest directly across the basin, in a little hollow on a hill next to the cliff face, to the left of the wreck near the osmium cave. I'm almost certain that the opening in the cliff across the basin is the result of the giant vines that grow in the opening breaking up the rock. TIP: If you press CTRL while building you can build multiples.
I went there after the lake came and it worked.

You can find iridium rods in the crater before it fills up with water
There is another golden chest on the other side of the lake bed on the raised land between the entrance to the spires biome and the hill up to the big wreck near the osmium cave.
There are also 3 T2 solar panels in the spikey area just past the aluminium area that are on the ground just deconstruct and reconstruct for easy free power.
@Z1Gaming perhaps you should go into the hidden cave, before the water will fill up the land. It is easier to get there, when I remember right, without the water.
I have also deleted the ladder when upstairs with full inventory. I at least had enough for a door.
you might want to make a few desks to place the monitors on and get them off the floor.
I actually started a new save of this myself and I built my base above where the lake would be, i literally used some foundations and stairs to get about 4-5 high so its above the water
Upgrading your inventory/backpack would help a bit haha 😅
After watching you play throughout the last series I finally got to get the game I’m still at the very start,I just put a base down on top of the hill

there is gold chest is under the rocks just outside the aluminum area (its hidden) kinda sneaky like
You forgot about the golden chest on the other side of the crater near the wall.
You can logged out and back in again and the ladder will come back
Love watching your videos. It's always fun to see your thoughts on a base. I have streamlined my base to go over the lake. I plan on covering most of the lake with the 2x2 modules. I wish they had clear windows for the base and not blue. When I get done with this play though I am going to try my luck with the waterfall starting area or the crater.
If you know the equipment loot behind the waterfall area waterfall is a good starting spot for easy early equipment.
21:00 Just build a ladder up. You deconstructed a ladder, so there must be the materials somewhere around.
The items spawned on the lower floor when he deconstructed it so he couldn't reach them.
T3 Vegie tubes can be placed outside to save you some room.
The game was just waiting for Z to come close to finish redesigning before giving upgrades. Lol
You can get 2 more golden plants one if ur looking at where u can go through to the waterfall, to the left at the bottom against the wall. The second one is right before the aluminum area under one of the rocks u use as a bridge to get over to the aluminum area
he;s gotten the land bridge one at aluminium already.
PLEASE MAKE A FLASH LIGHT!!! Iremember - I still haven't installed the flash light yet!!!!! Oh and there's a backpack ipgrade your still to do.

I think it would be pretty neat if you at least go and check out both the Meteor Crater and waterfalls before you get too far with terraforming.

I made the same mistake took me a few minutes of panic to try and figure it out

That is the problem when a game doesn't give you back full resources when deconstructing. I get the concept, but I don't like it.
Eveything is so crammed up dude .. build a real base lol
Stop progressing for progress' sake, take some time to make your suit and tool upgrades.
