This video shows how to make a faux rock starting with the rebar. With two 10' 3/8" sticks of rebar I fully complete the bends to show the beginnings of a rebar rock shape. Great tip adding the flat part for the second rebar. I’ll definitely use that idea. If anybody reading this hasn’t read his books, check them out, they are really awesome.
You spin those wires like a pro. Ive learned that if you over tighten they break really easy.

In our case they say for solid structure you gotta be sure to have em anchored atleast 80 cm in the ground because of the winter / ice. So for the construction I have in mind I would have to put some reebar into the ground, on a gravel base with enough concrete covering around. Do you ever have to do something similar like this? Or you think for this creation which are not ment to carry heavy loads, such as a car. 20-40 cm could be enough? Just wondering.
Thanks for your comments David. Appreciate it. On your question experts who build in freeze/thaw environs know what's best in regard to concrete construction. So I'd follow their recommendations. If they say 80cm then that's what it probably should be. You didnt explain what you're building so beyond that I can't give you further feedback.
