    • His big azz jumps out of the blocks and stands straight up, ROFL. He’s gotta fix the same thing ShaCarri has been fixing…the two of they have very similar front mechanics (hips and knees wise). I think he needs to learn to transition…proper angles in the blocks, proper angles out, and build up to his top speed. He’s using his “maintenance” mechanics during what is supposed to be acceleration! LOL

  • 0:21; Julien's 22.16 & JaMeesia's 22.34 are both indoor times that are being erroneously mixed in with outdoor 200m times on the official WA site, really wish they would sort that out as JaMeesia's 22.37 (0.9) outdoor opener from 2wks ago should've been used instead! With only 3 Olympic 200m spots available compared to the 4 WC 200m spots last yr when he made the team, Courtney Lindsey knows he can't mess around going up against Lyles, Knighton & Kenny B @Trials this year. There's also the likes of Coleman, Kerley, Laird & Robert Gregory, it's just as deep as the 100m!

For example, highschool success doesn't automatically translate to collegiate success. Collegiate success doesn't automatically transfer to professional success. • He is not a 200m runner. He is a 400m runner. But all 400m runners will keep running 100's and 200's to keep their speed up. Note: his best times at 200 were recorded while running in College competitions. NCAA is NOT the top level of running which made his times seem better than they were. So, as long as he continues to do strength/stamina training required for 400m then you will see him move back up to 400m races in time for Olympic trials with an objective of making the USA Olympic team in 400m, either individually or as a relay member. (I have no idea if he has given up on the long jump where he showed amazing talent. Obviously that event requires top sprinting ability)

  • You can say this is the fastest so far but outside of College runners, barely anyone has even started their outdoor seasons yet. So saying they are the fastest in the world is just so stupid. WLs this early mean nothing, because the top runners haven't started their seasons. Also can Americans not run backwards down the track, are they allergic to having to run into headwinds? Sure it might look better on stats but at the Olympics they aren't going to run it backwards to allow tailwinds so they should get used to it.
