I actually ran across the Jeepers Creepers truck while it was being transported somewhere. It was on the back of a flat bed and the driver must’ve saw me because he started the engine and left the parking lot. The only reason I realized what it was is because it had still shots and a plaque on the back back from the movie.
Don't why he felt the need to get out of there just because someone who Recognized it was there?
God the horn on the jeepers creepers truck transports me back to when I was a little kid and saw my mom watching that movie
What was the opinion of your mother about the movie do you remember because it liked dhe idea of watching movies with parents i never had this experience myself because my mother like only tv serie about love and cheating
@@thebutcher6449 at first I didn't like it because it scared me then I grew to enjoy it
OMG! Then watching it getting closer and closer. I think that's about the time i started sucking my thumb.
Technical point. The Blue Flame engine was not available in 1941. IIRC it was not introduced until 1955 in the Corvette. The 216 c.i.d. engine available in 1941 used a splash lube system with Babbitt bearings whereas the Blue Flame went up to a 235 cubic inch displacement, a full pressure lubrication system and eliminated the old Babbitt style bearings. Double check me on that as I'm going from faulty memory but I've had enough of both types over the years that I'm sure of the basics anyway.
You're correct...& hydraulic lifters instead of solid .
Yeah, the older the vehicle, the harder it is to find the right answer. Trucks are my biggest nightmares on this channel. There does not always seem to be definitive answers floating about for research.
I thought "the blue flame" engine was available in the 1953 Corvette the 265 cubic inch small block V8 was introduced in 1955 the Corvette never looked back in not trying to disrespect you at all the "blue flame" engine was available with two carburators and was tuned up version of Chevys "stove bolt" inline 6 engine as they called it
And I should have mentioned that you are right there was no such thing as a "blue flame engine" in 1941 you are correct on that
@@jrsmith1008 correct on all counts ...& hydraulic lifters instead of solid ...also I believe in Chevy 210s & Belairs but without the twin carbs & longer opening cam of course. It's a common mistake, that people call any stove bolt motor a Blue flame .
I came across the movie 'Wheels of Terror' on VHS at a little shop in S. Korea around 2000. They sold used rental copies for 1,000-2,000 won ($1-2). Paid $1 for it, and the Hangeul subtitles add a nice odd touch.
Elvira Mistress of the Dark is magnificent ❤
🙂👍
Creeper´s truck rocks!... and Christine and Duel's truck too.
Glad to see the Wheels of Terror Charger here. So you're missing the 1972 Cadillac El dorado from, 2004's Highwayme
So you're saying the Chevelle in Repo Man that needed to be repossessed needed to be repossessed? 🤣
I love the Jeepers creepers movie and love the truck used in the movie it was done made very well love it
Fun fact about wheels of terror is actually filmed in my mom‘s hometown. My mom told me stories of hiding in the bushes and watching the filming.
I was on I 90 East..going to Zanesville,Ohio..when I noticed the Jeepers Creeper truck go West..about 8 to 9 years ago..I am Tractor Trailer Driver..we see things on the Super Flat sometimes...yours very truly Alfonso Cantu USMC
Horror vehicles are just amazing to watch
Honourable mention to Warren "Red" Barr's Peterbilt semi from the 1997 feature "Breakdown" with Kurt Russell and Kathleen Quinlan. The Peterbilt - piloted by underrated character actor JT Walsh - isn't supernatural, but that doesn't mean it (and its owner) can't be terrorizing.
now i am zoomer so i never caught wheels of terror when it came out cause i was born like 14 years after it came out. but i had KZhead and stumbled on it randomly and i still remember watching it even though i was like 6 or 7 when i say it. it was a long time ago likely over 10 years ago.
13:13 The problem with "Killdozer" is that it is impossible to know which "Killdozer" the references are referring to. In my neck of the woods "Killdozer" refers to the "hero" Marvin Heemeyer. Any reference after the 2004 "Killdozer" event in Colorado, tends to be a reference to Heemeyer. For a lot of us "Killdozer" is a term and symbol of Anti-State/Anti-Globalism, Pro-Ancap movements.
Thanks for another great vid! Just wanted to mention the Malibu in Nightmares is actually a 71-72. 1970 had 4 round lights up front and square-ish tail lights. 71-72 had two round headlights and four round tail lights. My personal favorite is a mismatched 1970 front end and a 1971-72 tail panel. that way each end has four round lights. Also the 55 Chevy engine was a 265, not a 256 👍
Cheers. There is some issues about that Malibu. If you watch the movie, the priest drives off in a 1970 model and then later he is seen with 71-72 front and rear end components on it. I researched up on it and either two different models were brought in by mistake, or repairs needed to be done to reshoot the scene and rebuild the car with 71-72 components. At 1:18 you can see the Malibu is slightly damaged and missing some strips on the door, yet later it appears normal. Some suggested there are interior inconsistencies with the 70 Malibu to make it a 71-72 model. However it is clear in the shot where he leaves the church, it is a 70 model.
@@MFPMapFilmProductions Thanks for the clarification. I honestly had not seen or even heard of Nightmares yet so based on the shots in your vid I thought it was a full-on 71-72
@@Impactjunky Cheers, had to recheck a few times to make sure as well, cause others pointed it out first.
1 thats missing that I always remember as a kid is Death Car on the Freeway. Mysterious van driver would slap in an 8 track and cause carnage
That was a wild one
Yes I think I remember that it was some strange music coming out of it's stereo
Awesome part 1 and 2! All of these vehicles were certainly interesting!
Thank you for information about Number 10! Been looking for the name of that film for years! I barely remember seeing it when I was little...THANK YOU! 🤗👍👍👍
You are welcome.
Great list, wheels of terror is never mentioned and is an easy favorite
Cheers. Glad you liked it. Watched it again for this list. I totally forgot the whole third act was like 25 minutes long car chase. Looking at it now, can see there was potential. But I think the subject matter was too sensitive for most people. And since it plays out the car was most likely possessed, it makes the question to be asked, who was behind the wheel doing those terrible things if it was not human?
@@MFPMapFilmProductions love to of seen the ghost riders v-max and the charger he used in agents of shield great content well thought out 👍
@@Endofdays73 cheers.
Great video. I heard that the black truck from Nightmares was used in several TV shows and movies including the original Terminator. Don't know if it's true. 🤟🤠👍
I checked, it was not the same as the one used in Terminator. Very close, but different model years.
@@MFPMapFilmProductions thanks, like I said, I wasn't sure.
@@MFPMapFilmProductions What about the pickup in 1986's 'The Hitcher'? I know that the raised, boxy, offroad Chevy pickups of that era were popular both on and off-screen through the 90s, but thought I would throw it out there as well.
@@culcune The one in The Hitcher is a 1979 C20, just like the one in Nightmares. But ironically, that shares a similar grill with the C10 from Terminator. But that C20 is lowered and does not have the same bull bar, nor spot light roll bar and is lowered and less gloss. Apart from model and colour, not that many similarities.
Gotta remember those Box Chevy's didn't really change much from the late '60's, most agree '67 was a one year only, until '88. So they all look pretty close to each other. Many times the details that separate them are minimal.
fantastic video as always
Cheers. Glad you like it.
Superb series of videos here, I'd love a part 3. I love wheels of terror and am lucky enough to own the ex rental Australian vhs tape and the American laserdisc release with the green glowing lights on the front cover. The scene where the bike cop gets taken out was so cool
Cheers. I will try to make one for each Halloween as long as I can fit a top 10 list.
Wheels of terror is such a classic to me
Love that Lincoln!
I remember seeing Elvira mistress of the Dark ..just for seeing Elvira , the Jeepers Creepers truck was totally scary ..you never listed Christine , however the book was better than the Film.
This is a part 2 horror list. For Christine, you will find her in my part 1 video.
@@MFPMapFilmProductions My apologies.
@@salvagedb2470 it's all good.
You do know Killdozer came true ? In 2004 Colorado . I'm sure you do.
Finally the Truck from Jeepers Creepers, I thought you were going to pass by on that one
This was a really awesome and good video and I love Christine I really want that style 58 Plymouth fury
Cheers. If you havent, go check out part 1 of this top 10 horror vehicle list on this channel. Also, stay tuned a new Christine video is coming out real soon.
Awesome creation ............ Happy Halloween.............
Cheers. Have a good one.
Great video, you have left out death car on the freeway from both of your top 10 horror vehicle productions, fantastic killing Dodge Tradesman van that final scheme is black n flames, oh and Hal Needhams first film. I feel you my have to rectify this error! But thanks for your vids anyway, love them.
I have to watch this movie. I've not heard of it until now but it just made it's way to the top of my must watch list. Why? Because my first vehicle was a 1977 dodge tradesman B200 maxivan. lol
@@oif3vetk9 you can find it on youtube, i remember watching it as a kid!
"Jeepers, Creepers, where did you get them peepers?" thx!
Everyone involved in the making of Killdozer deserves credit for taking the concept of a noisy killer bulldozer that moves at 3 MPH and can sneak up on people seriously. Honorable mentions? The villain's 4x4 from the 1986 Australian movie Fair Game and the monster truck from Monster Man.
The movie Dual with a demonic tanker truck
Okay, the Evil Dead car is sweet. But y’all gotta see Joy Ride! Semis are underrated in these films
No wonder F&F still using the old Chargers, they have that evil presence in them
The Sam Rami car was used in several of his movies, from the Evil Dead series to the Original Spider Man series.....
Really feel the 1979 F100 from Wolf creek/wolf creek 2 and the tv series should be mentioned
The delta was also possesed in evil dead. It was also cool
Oh the rig in the movie "Duel" was scary 😢
Raimi has put his Delta 88 i pretty much every movie he has ever done with the exception of The Quick and the Dead.
Did the dmv not get scared giving him his number plates? Love Jeepers Creepers truck!
I always read the plate as "Beating goo"
it’s actually B Eating U in reference to the Creeper
@@JohnH20111 I know, but I still read it as Beatin Goo
Black Caddilac is another good one, although quite obscure
for anyone wondering I'm pretty sure the first person to point out the connection between Jeepers Creepers and Unsolved Mysteries was The Movie Vault (now operating under the name TMV archive) feel free to correct me though.
YOU SEE THIS IS MY BOOMSTICK
Another car worth mentioning is the 72 Eldorado from 2004 movie Highwaymen.
5:42 "The unmatched power of the sun, officer."
The goose bumps one looks like the car
no 10 , the black pickup was used in The Terminator (1984) and episode "Vegas Run" of Street Hawk
Its is not the same pick-up in Terminator unfortunately. The pick-up in Terminator is slightly different in its add on designs and is an older model used.
The Pick-Up used in Terminator was a 1973 C-10. The one in Nightmares is a 1979 C-20.
If you ever do a horror vehicles part 3. Definitely need to add the custom monster truck from Rolling Vengeance
G'day MFP, if you ever make a part 3, could you possible consider the 1979 Ford F-100 Custom from the classic Australian horror film Wolf Creek? it appears in two movies and the two tv series. Thank you mate
I'll keep it in mind. Cheers for the suggestion.
Two great videos, but how could you not include the spike covered VW Beetle from the Cars That Ate Paris? That's an absolutely iconic horror car.
Have you seen The Cars That Ate Paris lately? I did not long ago to try and include that car on one of these lists. It literally only has less than 10 seconds of screen time. It shows up on screen out of nowhere, spikes one dude and vanishes. Believe me, it's a overhyped movie car where people have a Mandela effect of, cause it was on the movie cover/poster, they think it's featured heavily in the film.
the wheels of terror car is actually a dodge coronet from 1970
can't belive the peterbilt from "joy ride" didn't at least get a honorable mention.
There is always space for a future top 10, as this is a part 2 video I did for Halloween, I am gonna try and do a top 10 horror vehicles for each year as long as there are enough for 10 each time. Feel free to check out our part 1 video from a few years prior as it have over 1 million views. Cheers.
Nightmares. Could the truck also be a Nightmare? The fact that it can burrow underground has me asking if it was ever really there. Elvira MotD. The car, Nice. Her, DAMN! Goosebumps. This Linc looks the part. ( A Ford Product is a better choice than a Corvette for having a MOPAR connection in this Lincoln somehow being connected to Christine.) From 1902 to 1931 The Dodge Brothers supplied Mr. Ford MOtor PARts as the drivetrains to all Ford vehicles.) Repo Man. This has to be one of the Y-Files. Nightmare on Elm Street Motor Freddy. I preferred the Caddie. There was a spiritual sequel made to this movie in Drive Angry with Nick Cage. Wheels of Terror. A Coronet would have been a better choice as it would have looked the part stock and no one would have had to damage the front end of it. The Army of Darkness. Wrong list, The Death Coaster is a Hero car. (13:00. I want one just like that.) Kill-dozer. Christine's Evil Uncle. I'm so scared. Sarcasm, I can out run one on a moped. Jeepers Creepers. It was a badass movies as long as it stayed with the Chevy. The rest, not so much.
Dude what about the Hybrid? And the truck "Goliath" off knight rider too
This video is part 2, there is always room for a part 3.
Surprised he hasn't done Christine 2 in the given year or a days of thunder 2
Notice the black Chevy pickup from nightmares looks just like John Riders black Chevy pickup in the original The Hitchhiker also the black Chevy pickup Kyle Reese steals for the final car chase in The Terminator.
It was discussed. There are differences.
I can't remember the name of the movie, but there was a movie that had a Semi Truck with a Green Goblin face on it's front. Have you done a video including it?
Maximum Overdrive, and they included it in their part 1 video.
👍👍👍
Elvira still owns the car it was recently restored by count’s customs
What about the big rig from maximum overdrive
This is Part 2. You will find that on our part 1 video on this channel.
@@MFPMapFilmProductions thanks
I'd liked to of seen, Dracula's Hearse from, "MONSTER SQUAD!", as Well
Might make its way into a part 3 video.
Surpised no mention of Christine or the better version called The Car
You should check out our part 1 horror vehicles video. Cheers.
fun fact sometimes they come back has a santa fe northern 4-8-4 steam loco
I think
Imagine a possessed model j Duesenberg| that would be a pretty creepy car in black less chrome and a hard top.
7:38 TSHOULD HAVE SHOWN MORE OF THIS.
Bit sad Horace the Hate Bug from the Bruce Campbell/Herbie TV movie the Love Bug still hasn't made it to a list. Also can’t believe I have to say this one… Ecto-1
There's even a killer car game that it's name is junkyard fury 1
Creeper rod on bags
the van on micheal myers and christine..........
So many cars you have missed
It depends. This is part 2. Part 1 you will find from a few years ago on this channel which has over 1 million views. I think you will find the ones you are looking for in that video.
Look up Psycho Mania for the 3rd list of horror vehicles vintage motorcycle gang turned living dead horror movie it is a English motorcycle gang

There was a movie from the 80's, I remember its name, but I couldn't find it, I hope you can help. there is a van driver in the movie, he listens to violin music all the time. He follows women drivers, causing accidents and causing their deaths. The van is painted every time, the color plate changes from blue to black to gray, the police can't catch it anyway. What is the name of this movie?
Sorry to say, I can't think of such a film off the top of my head. Hopefully someone may see your comment and help you out.

The jeeper creeper truck was the dumbest... who needs a truck if you can fly Where do you park a truck for 23 years and you don't get towed away ???
The truck can drive itself so it can just drive off if someone tries to tow it
Yes, the creeper can fly but it has to transport the bodies, and that´s the main mission of the truck.
@@magonzalv yea true plus it's the dumbest murder plan to not have a vehicle to transport bodies especially if you wanna get as much people as possible because it's just takes time away from it if you have to fly to your main area to dump the bodies
Stephen King and his son know nothing about cars. That fog story of Stephen where everyone hides in the grocery store from the monsters in the fog, the protagonists flee in an four-door International Scout--a car never made! His son wrote a story about a 60s GTO with leather interior--something else that never existed. The Kings are terrible when it comes to research on vintage cars. Super lazy.
Christine is described as a 2dr. but he says all 4 doors lock in the drive in scene.
Stephen King then: 🗿🍷 Stephen King now: NOOOO MY BLUE CHECKMARK
