Pretty impressive from Calacanis to be the most annoying person at a table with Phil Hellmuth
Quite a feat! Like getting 5 Royal Flushes in a row...:)
Lmao😂😂😂 phill hellmuth found his match😅🎉😂😂😂
Hellmuth is at least funny and entertaining. Calacanis is just obnoxious and annoying but is rich and friends with these guys I guess
AqQ,Ql. 0
😮😮😢😢😢d
2 minutes of Calacanis running his mouth is all I can take of this video
Dude never shuts up
That guy on Hilo that just lost his foot to a Tiger Shark might agree :)
I lasted 7minutes. I like it better when that guy was a quiet nerd in a sport coat
The worst.
He tries so hard to fit in, he’s so annoying
Calcanis losing while coaching Phil (who was winning) on how to play is hilarious. Good job, Phil.
Phil only wins money in these cash games when he flops the nuts. Calcanis was absolutely right, Phil is playing awful. Or do you think folding Queens there is the right play ? Phil has no clue where he is at. Always in the blender, no matter how small of a bet he's facing.
There's more to this game than where your chips sit during one session.
All you need to do. Play super tight, if they don’t off money fine if not go home. Easiest game in the world. No reason to play real poker against those terrible billionaires. That’s the point of plying easy games like that
16:43 “what do you think the average age of Phil’s fans is?” “Dead” 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂
Phil’s eagerness to name drop is hilarious.😂
7:15 “Straddle, yea I did not look, or if I did I can’t remember my hand, I’m pretty sure I didn’t look”
definitely fishy if you ask me
yeah such a weird thing to say. Also that shouldn't be allowed to straddle when cards are already dealt
Calacanis talking non-stop about Phil talking about himself is laughable. Guy never shuts up.
Annoying is more like it wow!
The conversation about that guy buying up his own book to get on a bestseller list is underrated.😂😂😂
If he just would have shut his mouth before and after that story, he would have been kinda likeable but given his level of trashtalk, he is still erm let's call it unlikeable
I switched off before he got to the end
Only need to sell 30,000 books to make a best-seller list.
that happens all the time
Isn’t this fraud tho
Jason explaining how people buy their own books to end up on The NY Times best sellers, Phil sitting there like “damn he’s describing me to the core” 😭
Goosebumps from the Doyle into just watching my nightly stream in poker rip to the goat
“You’re like winning turn left, i’m turning right” 🤣🤣
Phil is annoying but the more he gets picked on the more I like him hahaha
Loved hellmuth since I've seen his play. He's the best player in the world aside from me, and a legend.
That venture capitalist book scam is wild
Calacanis calking out Phil for attention is…ironic to say the least.
Ikr can’t stand the guy
@@amazon1 yeah that guy was way more annoying than phil
@@sidullyott657 absolutely. He wouldn't be welcome in the home game I play in. He adds nothing to the game.
it refreshing to see phil get the shit he dishes out all the time
@@brandonsmith666 it’s not so much that he’s giving Phil shit it’s just that the guy won’t shut up for 5 seconds haha
The rain man david sachs and the dictator chimav, good lineup
That Doyle intro really hits differently now. RIP to one of the greatest.
“Whose Phil’s fan average age group” chamath says “dead”! Omg 💀💀💀💀
Keating is the poker player I think everyone mentally strives to be like...dudes cool as a cucumber.
Helps to be doing really really well in life
Keating is a bad poker player, he just spews money, while no one even knows where he got them
getting lucky and then getting clipped. pure rich donk that pros dream about playing against
I find people that throw their chips in like he does EVERY hand are annoying as hell, honestly.
When you are a billionaire this is spare change for keating the money doesn’t mean nothing to him
Another stellar play by Phil with the 55 against KQss waits until he worst card hits river and bets - white Magic at its best
What a legendary moment it would have been if Hellumuth would have won that with pair of 2s
Keating immediately wants it bumped. Rightfully so in this line up
Helmuth doesn’t like it when the tables are turned. Love how he called him an idiot.
"After he catches his breath" -Keating. Absolute gem of a person XD
Haha CP letting the other VCs that the jig is up on the best seller list idea hahah
Phil was playing so tight , he had to have the nuts to bet or he would have folded..
Phil shut that table up quick.
Keating is goated lmao
Damn, RIP, the legend, DOYLE BRUNSON!!!!
Good to have Chamath tell Phil what he needs to hear, especially on that QQ fold.
But wouldn’t Phil have would’ve lost more money if he didn’t fold?
@@mohammedkhaliq1475 Jesus... Your sentence gave me a brain aneurysm.
Better to be a little tight than play like a donk and bleed away all your chips like Chamath did later in the episode.
Intro is amasing
Chamath doesn't care about Chinese dissident organs being harvested. It "doesn't rise to my level of thinking." When socio-paths tell you who they are, believe them!
Two things: 1. This table, specifically Chamath, not understanding the principle that being in the NYT best sellers list boosts sales and therefore readership. 2. As much as Phil spoke about Phil a lot, Calacanis spoke about Phil more.
He who laughs last laughs best
35:15 😭🤣
Phil how many times is honey going to save you lmao
Why does it feel like Phil Hellmuth never knows where he's at in cash hands? Feels like I've spent the last 3 or 4 years seeing him in the blender.
He's super retar ded always. then complains... xDDD his reasonings are also super off always.
@@Dimens1oner yet he's one of the best players in the world and has 13 bracelets? Sure buddy. Nice story.
@@elastronaute1198Phil a great tournament player but it’s well known he’s not great in cash games
As bad as Phil might look on these videos, it seems that he knows how to maximize his value just by playing in these games. He's created an image that gets the videos he's in a ton of views and I'm sure he's receiving checks from advertisers just to do some of the stuff he does. Let's not forget that he's also not on this list of "world class" players: Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, Howard Lederer, Antonio Esfandiari, Michael Mizrachi, Tom Dwan, Patrik Antonius, Erick Lindgren, David Benyamine, and Michael Matusow. Everyone of these players on this list have declared bankruptcy at some point. Hellmuth is probably the best at knowing all about bankroll management and risk management. He also seems to know when to walk away from most cash games when his emotions are getting to him, and when he makes his grand exit, it seems like he does it for show to make sure the views come later to get paid by the advertisers. Maybe I'm wrong, but if I'm right, then he's truly a genius for suckering all of us in to keep watching his blowups.
Looking back, I wish I wouldn't have left all these comments for 4 years
I dont like the analysis of the set of 5's hand, the way he plays it is fine. If he hits an improvement card, to a full quads or better he can then check. With a uncoordinated board, there are many bad cards that complete hands still, as well as add further draws. So the decesion to push was on any card that did not improve the board up from uncoordinated, or semicordinated which term you may prefer, and also the way its played, he could check a bad turn card, A,2,3,6,7 8 especially one that adds a flush draw to the board, and hope to fill up on the river and then call all in. So slowplay was still an option in the way he played the hand, it just wasnt the option of the line he chose in the way the 9 turned up.
9:18 they’re both clueless
When was this originally recorded?
Texas dolly, the legend himself played until just before he passed! RIP Legend!!
Get Calacanis and Nik Airball in a future lineup, see who sucks the most wind out of the room
Calcanis is way more of a dispised human than Nik Airball. Calcanis is pure evil. Airball is just a goof.
That’s enough about me, let’s talk about you. What do you think about me? 😂
Phil folding the Queens there is MINDBLOWINGLY BAD , WOW!!!
Phil Hellmuth is so underrated! 👏🏼
i love this guy.
I read the comments before watching the video, and during the presentation of the players, I could tell which one Calacanis is based on their faces and clothes.
Fm, his incessant none stop voice goes straight thru me
Wow, i havent watched after dark for a decade. Phil is actually a great guy off the table. Surprised to see they still have my hands doing the card flourishes here in the opening with one handed shuffling and stuff. Ok enough about me. Back to Helmuth.
I think I need to buy a PH Aria hat to wear in my games its kind of iconic
Calcanis looks like the kind of guy who'd be at one of those creepy Eyes Wide Shut parties.
Nah he wouldn't be able to get it up 😂
I haven’t watched the other episodes but when did calican become such a talker
Are all the regulars drawing dead or is this form of PAD limping?
R.I.P. Doyle intro!
First time ever seen a table where Hellmuth wasn’t the worst player!
Hellmuth is rarely the worst player at a table.
Always great to see da poker legends here playing poker n go at each other talking smack . I mean poker brat . Lol great game here that’s poker folks .
calacanis literally made my aniety go thru the fukin roof, this goofball
I disagree with the synopsis @28:20 Yes your right he did close down the action by raising all in and not giving his opponents a chance to bluff, but he also secured a pot. If he had checked and they'd both decided to check behind he would have been stuck in the position of letting 2 players draw a free card, even if one of them raised there on a semi bluff draw with his chips left behind he would never have been able to check raise them off and they would still draw to the end. With running and suited cards out there letting 1 player draw is dangerous enough let alone 2. I think his all in there was actually the correct move against 2 other players
R.i.p Doyle, into was very sombersome
Makes you want to root for Phil!
Best Seller List: you can make your money back in speaking engagements if you are worth a damn... If not, you have a garage full of books = Fire Starters
so funny Phil really can just make money when he flops the nuts, otherwise he always fold the winner if it's head to head
Smurphs lol
I don't think I've ever seen a table where Phil isn't the butt of the joke. No one respects him and frankly it's his own fault. I'm sure it's absolutely fantastic to be a millionaire, but when all your peers look down at you and belittle you day in and day out... I guess that's what he puts up with to be rich and famous
Says Phil bel tub is from pall alto but I thought he was from wi. Maybe originally?
Chamath is the guy,who bought bitcoin at $80 for 1milion$ ,now his btc value is $2billions.
Please hold this intro with doyle in honor of him
Anybody knows when was that actually played ?
Dayyyyuummmm Phil wth are you doing
Jason talking is a form of torture.
Phil Hellmuth is so entertaining
If Phil Ivey shows the FCK UP ,SCHOOLS OUT !
If hellmuth talks about him sooooo much when he is in TV imagine when he is nt on tv
Phil is only comfortable playing with non pros.
Cannot imagine Phil as a child in the school yard....with that mouth, I am thinking an apple a day for the teacher....lol
This must have been during that odd time during COVID when the virus could be spread by dealers but not by players.
Pali shouldn’t have yelled after he seen his cards he literally told everybody he had one ACE Hellmuth wasn’t paying attention to that so he shouldn’t have folded to cal all in.
Dealer's breath isn't allowed to infect the air, I guess, so he has to wear a diaper on his face.
Phil would have gotten another three way pot split if he called with queen deuce of clubs
Phil hellmuth is easily the best one at that table
The website does not work.
Helmuth. Just wow. Amazing playing and attitude
Roast the only pro at the table...love it 😂😂😂
Alan Keatings a pro
@@Jimboslice35 Keatings most def played like one but i was not aware he was a pro tho..maybe the suit and watch threw me off😀
But played like super amateur
Good call Paul he had clubs
How in the world did Helmuth ever make it big in poker? He really has no moves he is the easiest read in poker by far.
Watching billionaires play poker for what's peanuts to them 😂
After is cool
For me there are 2 things that have ruined televised poker 1. People who have so much money they really don't care if they win or lose, thus taking away the true strategy of the game (Keating) 2. People buying percentages of players. These players are playing for less then 50% of their own wins! Fans and other players alike are buying so much of various other players that it becomes more like putting your Roulette chips on the 1st and 2nd groups of numbers in Roulette. -Sometime it becomes to where the player has a better financial gain for another player to win over themselves!s 3. I am NOT suggesting there is collusion or cheating necessarily but ask yourself this, would you want to sit at a table of 6 where two of them are winning regardless of which one does....?
The only best selling book Hellmuth should have wrote is the excuse book he would of had a lot of books sold 😂
Phil is just devastated that people have now worked out how he sold so many books !!!
I love that guy that keeps giving Phil a lot of shit
Chop up Phil money love it
The 1st 9 mins was excruciating to listen to Calacanis. It's interesting to see how investment guys dress like they just got off work. Then there's Hellmuth, looking like a washed up hip-hopper.
I got helmuth figure out. He win tournament because he plays tight and traps second best hand (i.e. relying on luck). That same strategy does not work in cash game.
A table full of fish😂 Totally disagree with Little's 'coaching'. Gurley protected his hand by not letting Keating's draw get there on the river without paying a stiff price, especially since it was already the biggest pot.
8:10 - Palihapitya didn't have to show his cards? I have to assume that Keating pre-emptively said "fold" as he showed his cards face up... which is technically a check... So. What happened there?
Edit: Palihapitya was first to act though, so did he check on the river to induce a bet? That's the only thing that makes sense. However you still have to show your cards to win the pot, right? Like... what if Palihapitya had 7-high?
Palihapitiya was first to act, but Keating didn't get what he wanted on the river, so folded before Palihapitiya could put any chips in. The delayed "check" graphic was from the check/check on the turn.
Phil not sporting the Bitcoin Latinum cap anymore. So he finally figured out the scam. Great.
Phil is the GOAT at being annoying
The QQ fold makes a bad advertisement for ‘White Magic’
I can't wait to have so much money I don't have a name anymore.
